Mark was professional, clean, quick and stuck to the price he had quoted.

He was very professional and efficient. He used shoe covers to walk around the house. He explained what he was doing and why, with a sense of what it would cost. He came on time and was in an out in a timely way. My s.o. who would not ordinarily take the time to write a review made sure I got online to do so.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the work here is not subcontracted out -- you get Mark Coleman, which is refreshing. He does indeed put on boot covers before entering your home, which is thoughtful. He was very courteous, professional, and personable. Took a look at our issues and went right to work. He did a nice, clean, professional job, used quality materials, and charged exactly what he quoted. I had him look at another minor faucet leak, and he recommended replacing the cheap faucet entirely because he was certain that even if he fixed it, the faucet was so cheap he'd be back fixing it again in six months. I'm sure he was being completely straight with me, since I've fixed it myself a couple times and it does indeed start leaking again in six months. He did not try to hard-sell me anything, just made the recommendation. I was very pleased with Mark, I'll definitely call him again and recommend him to others.

Mark arrived on time, diagnosed the plumbing problems quickly and accurately, and fixed the problem toilet, something no one else had been able to do. Throughout, he was professional, courteous (for example, wearing protective booties in the house), and competent. I would hire him again in a second. Plus, he's an all-around great guy, honest and easy to talk with.

He was excellent all the way through, and I was very pleased and very impressed with him. He was very much on time, and he put booties on his shoes so he doesn?t drag in dirt. He was very respectful and explained everything to me thoroughly. He told me how to flush out my pipes and how to remedy the problem with the well.

It went very well. Coleman's plumbing only has one plumber --- Mark Coleman. He takes great pride in his work. Wears shoe coverings to avoid tracking dirt into the house. Would install whatever I wanted, but he urged top quality, professional grade parts for the toilet. I went with the professional grade. The faucet replacement install was an afterthought after he arrived. I had bought a cheap faucet at a sidewalk sale. He had a Kohler of much higher quality and price on his truck. He explained/showed every aspect of why the Kohler cost so much and why the one I bought was so cheap. I went with the Kohler. Both the toilet and the faucet have been great. While I ended up buying expensive materials, Mark did not give me a "hard sell."

The leak was very small, but had to go. I asked Mark to try to make the smallest hole possible, so fixing it wouldn't increase the expenses. Mark used a devise that from a very small hole he identify a pinhole in a pipe. He cut a little more to fix the pipe, but not too much. In fact the cut was so small that I could fix it myself. I really like his work and the fact that he is different from other plumbers that I had here that cut my entire wall before finding the problem. Thanks Mark.

Mark was EARLY for the appointment! From that point on, this is one of the best in-home services I've ever received. I now see why this company has received so many glowing reviews. The work was done quickly and efficiently. After telling me that the garbage disposal wasn't working well and that it should be replaced before it contributed to another drain clog, he took the time to recommend a replacement brand and series within that brand and to tell me how to select a new disposal. He even told me how to install that disposal; a good deed which could cost him money if I'm successful. After the drain was clear, he cleaned up the work area. He was finished in less than 30 minutes.

The main drain was clogged by tree root infestation. It was awful - we couldn't use any water without it backing up into the bathtub. We had first called Roto Rooter on an emergency basis and they snaked the drain and diagnosed the problem with their cameras. Mr. Coleman beat their quote to complete the repair work. He had to drill through the tile and remove about half of the bathroom floor. There was a lot of ground water in the hole due to all the recent rain. Beyond the root problem the pipes were in bad shape generally so he had to replace more than we had anticipated. Even with the additional cost, the price was still less than other quotes we had received (prior to knowing the extent of damage). He took pictures for our records, cleaned up each day, and returned to reset the toilet after the floor had been retiled. He did a great job and completely resolved the problem. Mr. Coleman was really professional and helpful and we would certainly call him again.

Great job. Mark was a no-nonsense, always on time, clean, professional. The floor in our shower (which the last contractor had not installed evenly) is now comfortable to stand on. We've been in our house since the early 80's and Mark is definitely the best overall contractor we've ever had.

I was given a two hour window for the arrival time and Mark arrived at the beginning of the time frame. I was pleased that Mark put covers on his shoes as he came through my front door. (So as to not track dirt inside) He diagnosed the problem and carefully explained my options and the prices. He recommended the least costly expense and was able to repair the toilet causing the leak immediately. After repairing the leak, he showed me the repair and explained what he did. He also gave me some tips to prevent the leak in the future. It was a very pleasant experience and I have already recommended Coleman's to one of my neighbors.

Based on comparison with a friend for essentially the same shower job, Mark's price was much better. Mark was very neat, used shoe covers, cleaned up afterwards, explained everything, was very polite and calm, and provided helpful tips. He also communicated well and came on time. I have already recommended him to others, and would definitely use him again.

This was excellent. He told me honestly that the old faucet and toilet were not worth the money to repair them. They were too flimsy to begin with. He told me brands not to get and quoted me an installation price. I bought the new units, and he installed them very well. His price was reasonable, and his help was refreshing.

In the process of selling our home, a home inspector identified a few things that needed to be fixed. I found Coleman's plumbing on "The List" and contacted them to do the work due to the great reviews. I didn't get estimates becasue I was under a bit of a time constraint and Angie's list did not disapoint. I figure some of the jobs could have been done for a bit less but the most important thing to me and my family is to use someone who is professional and dependable. Cuttign corners becasue of price, I have learned, isn't alawyas the best way to go and I sincerely believe I was charged a very fair price. Mark returned my initial call within an hour. We communicated via email that night as he was trying to get a handle on the scope of the job..he immediately returned my emails as well. He scheduled an appointment that was convenient for MY schedule and showed up on time and well prepared for the job. He was clean and diligent and finished up quickly. We'll definitely use Coleman's plumbing again for our needs and glad that we foud someone in the area we can depend on.

This turned out to be a very pleasant experience for us. We called Mark due to a stain on our ceiling. He showed up on time and wore shoe covers, which was nice. When he took the tub/shower panel off we discovered the valve had been leaking behind the wall for some time causing much damage. This was not good news as we are very close to adding a member to our family. Mark explained in detail what work would need to be done to correct the situation. His calm demeanor comforted us as we have never remodeled before and helped us focus on picking tiles and tub/shower valve instead of thinking about the rotten wood and backer board. In the end the work was very nice and we are very pleased with it, not to mention the fact that we have a beautiful new tile and valve.

He thought that getting a new handle would work. It turned out that there are no handles of that size. He said that it would be $65 else I would have to replace the whole faucet which would cost about $120. I went ahead with the $65 because I trusted him. He then came back and said that it took him less time than what he had anticipated and so it was only $35. He did not charge by the hour, he charged by the job. He told me upfront what the cost would be.

Mr. Mark Coleman was truly professional in all apsects of his work. He was polite and attentive during my phone call, he arrived within the time promised, he was competent, answered all my questions, even put on shoe covering before entering my home. I would certainly recommend Mr. Coleman to family and friends. It was truly a pleasure not to be wokring with a large company that is so often inattentive to time, professional attitude and service.

I was very pleased with him and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. He showed up the same day I called and he was very prompt. He didn't take the whole day and I am very satisfied with his services. His price was reasonable and he is very professional.

This was our second time in six months using Mark Coleman for our plumbing repairs and both times we were impressed. The first time was the day before Christmas and our kitchen sink sprang a big leak because of parts that rusted. Mark was very helpful in helping us decide on a replacement faucet and he fixed and replaced all the leaky parts. Our plumbing is old, worn out, and looks like whoever installed it was an amateur hack. So Mark had his work cut out for him and did a great job. He was punctual and very reasonably priced. The second time he came out and did all the work mentioned above he again was a very diligent worker, punctual, and I think his prices were very fair. Once I used another "punctual" plumber and was given sales pitches and was way over-priced. Not the case with Mark. I am very pleased and would use him again.

In both visits his work was done professionally. He is easy to work with, providing excellent advice and willing to listen to and answer patiently the questions my wife and I asked. The time spent on the jobs was short and his clean-up was thorough. I intend to have him replace the dressing room faucet when we make our final selection and perform other upgrades that we are considering. As noted in other reports, upon arrival he put on booties so that he wouldn't track debris into the house.

Mr. Coleman arrived right on time (at Noon), and began work immediately. He reviewed the routing of the water lines and drain line and planned his work accordingly. The work progressed at a reasonable rate and was concluded at 4:00 pm. Upon inspection of the work I noted that there was no shutoff valve between the water heater and the utility sink for the hot water line. I requested a valve on this line. The quoted price was $40 for the work, which required approximately 10 minutes and a plastic valve. the price seemed high given the labor and parts. The resulting installation was clean and well done. The lines were laid out extremely well, and installed according to code, which is important if a person intends to sell his house later. I am very pleased with his recommendations for siting the utility sink, and for the way the sink was installed in the space provided. It is obvious from the installation of the lines and the sink that Mr. Coleman takes pride in his work, which is not always true of other plumbers with whom I've worked. Mr Coleman patiently demonstrated how I should bring the water system back into service, which was very helpful as there was some potential for water hammer causing piping damage in the uncured joints. He answered all of my questions regarding winterizing the system (the utility sink is in the garage) and pointed out some areas of insulation that could improve the insulation of the garage. I waited the minimum 3 hours to restore water to the house, and brought the system into service as instructed by Mr. Coleman with no problems. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work. I had intended to pay for the plumbing work with a credit card; however, Mr. Coleman informed me that he was discontinuing the acceptance of credit cards because of the fees banks have been charging for credit card transactions. This came as a mild shock as I was not prepared to pay with cash. Nevertheless, I paid by check and then transferred funds into the account to cover it. Part of my decision to use Cloeman Plumbing was the credit card banner associated with Coleman Plumbing on the Angie's List web site. It is very likely that I would have selected another contractor if I had known Colemans Plumbing did not accept credit cards, as I was no prepared to pay for this work with cash. In the future I will ask a contractor how the work is to be billed before committing to purchase a service such as this.

Very professional, knowledgeable and nice experience throughout. Highly recommend his services. I didn't feel as if he was trying to sell more services or parts. He also had the parts for the work to be done at the time he came even though the toilet is an older model. He thought that the inside part in the toilet bowl might have to be replaced; however after he started the job he was able to use the same part when he replaced the toilet back on the new seal. He cleaned up afterwards and left all is great shape.Also, he offered a discount for work over $200 dollars for first time services;however since my job was $170 he will honor the discount for the next time I need his services.
