Mark showed up on time, was very courteous and knowledgeable about is field, did the work quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up after himself - including using shoe coverings when he went in and out of the house.

Mr. Coleman showed up precisely on-time, exactly as promised days earlier when he confirmed the appointment by email. He brought the right equipment and did the job quickly, competently and neatly. He described everything as he was doing it, all in precise terms. Moreover, he was more than a run-of-the-mill tradesman; this gentleman was smart, educated, and extremely articulate. While he worked, Mr. Coleman provided various perspectives on his trade and life in general which were particularly enlightening. This was indeed "value added." If plumbing services are needed again, he will be my first call.

Mark phoned to ask if he could come to our house earlier than the scheduled time. We said that would be fine and he arrived within minutes. We have been trying to find a plumber who was knowledgeable and we actually found one!

I could not be any happier with Mark's work. He gave me an estimate over e-mail which was very accurate and convenient. I loved being able to communicate with him via e-mail which he responded to promplty. He arrived on time and worked non-stop until the job was done, which took a while since the job was a bit bigger than originally expected. He had to change some of the pipping to make the new hardware work, which meant A LOT more work than he had anticipated from our e-mail communication; however, he only charged $100 more for all that extra work. Mark was extremely nice, professional and his price was better than other quotes I had received earlier. I will definitely call Mark next time I need some plumbing work done.

Mark is a teriffic plumber and a wonderful person to interact with, both from initial contact through to finish. He is extremely professional, polite and takes care to do a great job every time. He is easy to correspond with via email and provides an accurate and fair quote. I hired him initially for the leaking faucet, and asked him to come back for the sump pump and hose bib repair. I was happy with all three services provided.

Mr. Coleman was very responsive from the beginning. He was punctual. Mr. Coleman explained in advance exactly what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. He was very careful to protect the carpeting and furniture. At the completion of the job, Mr. Coleman showed me the pipe that he had replaced and what he had done.

Mark was very professional, courteous, and arrived on time (ahead of schedule actually). He was patient in answering my questions and obviously competent in his knowledge. The job was completed efficiently, neatly, and on estimate. I would definitely use him again.

My overall experience with Mark Coleman was tremendously positive - he did fantastic work at an amazing price. I have recommended Mark to several other people, at least one of whom I know has used him to perform the same work that I had done. Also, I just recently had a new hot water heater installed and the plumber, while doing an overall inspection of my unit's plumbing as part of a service contract, commented on what a good job the person who replaced the polybutylyne plumbing had done.

Mark Coleman responded ti my 1 email within minutes. He was extremely prompt in all correspondence. He arrived on time, was cordial polite. He was through in explaining what he wanted to do. I was so impressed with his responsiveness, punctuality, professionalism, not to mention the quality & pails of his work. I asked for his business cards to pass on others. i am pleased to know now i have a reliable plumber for future work.

Mark made contacting him very easy. A few emails back and forth and I had an appointment set up. He responded promptly to my emails and was just as prompt arriving at my house on time. There was nothing wrong in my laundry room - it just needed some better ventilation. The leak under my sink was due to a very old and leaky garbage disposal that he replaced. He also saw that my dish washer was not correctly hooked-up and fixed that as well. He only charged me for the garbage disposal and its installation. Mark was very pleasant and professional and I would recommend to anyone that needs a plumber and will definitely use him in the future if a problem arises.

We had the ceiling opened by a handyman so that we could see the problem. The leak was difficult to get to and we anticipated much more work than was necessary. Mr. Coleman responded very quickly to my inquiries and we set a date for service. He was punctual and extremely professional. The leak was fixed and we will definitely hire him again for any plumbing work we need.

Having read some of the reviews, and unhappy with a quote I had received from another company for $730, I contacted Mark by email. He responded within minutes asking for details and a photo of the installation that was required (installation of a new faucet in a powder room). I sent a couple of photos, and again, I got a quote within minutes by email. Mark showed up on time and performed the installation in a professional manner. I received the invoice by email. I am very happy with the work performed and will definitely call Mark for future plumbing needs.

After having a terrible experience with another plumber (see my review on Your 1 Plumber who wanted to charge $600 for the same job), I emailed Mark Coleman on a Saturday after reading reviews about him on Angies List. In the email, I briefly described the problem and asked him if he can give me an idea about what he thought might be the problem and a cost estimate. He responded within an hour and gave me an estimate range of $160 to $210 depending on what he finds when he looks at it. If you read my review of Your 1 Plumber, you will see why just this prompt response on the email and a cost estimate was something I just jumped at with relief. I agreed, over the email, to go ahead with Mark. He asked me to send a picture of the shower over my iPhone so that he can be sure that he has the exact part needed for this job. I sent him the picture using my iPhone. Now, this is what a 21st century plumber should work like!!! On Monday, Mark came within the agreed time frame - even sent me an email that he was on his way. I am on email all the time so much prefer that kind of communication. He came in with his shoe covers on which I appreciated. Went up to look at the shower, went down in the basement to shut off the water, and fixed the shower by replacing the cartridge (I asked him what he had done) in no time. He also removed and re-attached the shower head that we had put ourselves. Answered all my questions about other things like back-up sump, water filtration system, why I heard dripping sounds sometimes, etc. etc. We were talking about housing, plumbing, and plumber issues for a long time - it was like chatting with a long-term family friend. He didn't make it sound like it was all some very mysterious, complicated thing like some plumbers make it sound (see my review on Your 1 Plumber which starts with "Be Smart and do not ever call them"). He provided me an electronic invoice - no paper to deal with. I just love these kinds of things - smart, efficient, and good for the environment too. We have found the ONE plumber for all our plumbing needs forever. I think besides the professional skills and approach, for any business and the people who own the businesses and represent the businesses, it is important that in addition to being good professionals, they are also good human beings with good values and good business ethics - all these are visible in Mark Coleman. There are people and businesses out there that lack all this (like the Your 1 Plumber) and are out to make a buck at the cost of all this. This was not a major job and maybe there is a plumber out there who may have done it for even less money but it is the whole package that matters and we are going to stick with Mark for that reason. His name is Mark Coleman. He is a good plumber. He is efficient. He likes to work by email, which I just love. If I send him an email picture, he will basically tell me how much it will cost so when he comes he does the job. I evaluated a lot of plumbers. He even puts on booties before he comes in the house, which I really appreciate.

I called and emailed Mark to set up an appointment. He promptly emailed back and we set up a time. On the day of the appointment, he called to let me know that he was on his way. He was within the time frame that we set up. Mark listened as I explained the problem and then got right to work. He flushed and snaked the drain several times and it was still running slow. We scheduled a time for Mark to come back the day after with a stationary snake. Mark came back as scheduled and used the stationary snake. The drain was cleared! Mark was very professional and courteous. Great customer service! He recommended a nonacid drain cleaner to use to help keep grease/oil from collecting. Mark is very conscientious! He cleaned up and was very careful to cover his shoes! I would definitely call Coleman's Plumbing again!

I've used Mark before and know his work. This was a major plumbing job that, among other things, involved breaking concrete to add a drain for the shower, so I was not surprised at the price (by comparison, my total costs for this project were far less than I would have paid using a home remodeling company). He worked closely with Doan from Aslan Construction, and activies were well-coordinated between the two. I couldn't be happier with the work Mark did, and will use him again in the future. I highly recommend him.

I found Mark on Angie's List and contacted him about our plumbing issues. We made an appointment for a few days later. He arrived on time (a minute early actually!) and quickly diagnosed the issues we were having. He quickly repaired the the leaky pipes, but the leaky faucet was so old that it was irrepairable so a new one had to be put in. Our hot water heater is also old and out of warranty. A new hot water heater was going to be over $1000 so Mark made a suggestion on an adjustment we could make on our existing hot water heater to get some more use out of it and buy us some more time! Mark was very professional and friendly. He also gladly answered some other random questions I had about other issues in the house. When we are ready to replace that hot water heater or have any other plumbing issues we will definitely be calling him again!!

I emailed Mark Coleman to let him know that I wanted to have the work done. Mark responded immediately to my email (within minutes) to set up the appointment. Mark arrived precisely on time to do the work. Mark always makes it a point to wear the shoe booties when he enters the house so that he doesn't track in outside dirt (even though I probably wouldn't mind if he didn't). We shut off the water in the house and Mark removed the old valve (which was in a hard-to-reach place). He then installed and soldered in the new valve, which was a much better valve and easier to turn - the "arm" style vs. the circle type. Overall, Mark is the ideal contractor, and charges market rates. I have used Mark before on previous, more difficult jobs (that I neglected to report on), and he always does quality work and stands behind his work product. I will definitely continue to use Mark for my plumbing needs in the future.

Mark arrived within the 2 hour window he set, snaked the drain and replaced the old pipes with ones we purchased at Home Depot. I assumed he would have his own supply of PVC cement for the pipes, but he used ours instead- no big deal though. He worked quickly and was done in 20 mins. No problems with the drain so far, so we are satisfied.

Mark came to find the source of a leak in our basement ceiling. After looking through a hole in the ceiling we had previously made, he quickly diagnosed the problem as our toilet in bathroom on the floor above. He gave a detailed cost breakdown of what the work would cost for the two likeliest scenarios before starting the work. Once he removed the toilet, he performed the cheaper of the two scenarios--replacing the wax ring, supply tube, and resealing around the base of the toilet. The work was performed quickly and efficiently. We will definitely be using Coleman's Plumbing again.

We agreed on an installation date, he arrived accordingly, and completed the installation promptly, efficently, and neatly. We would expect to use him again for futurre plumlbing jobs.
