The repair was a in a tough area to reach with limited viability, but Mark was able to make the repair look easy. We were very satisfied with his work, and will call him again for our plumbing needs.

Arrived in a timely fashion, installation went smoothly, took the time to explain how the backup pump and battery worked. Very satisfied.

Would definitely use this company again.The cost included parts and the faucet I picked was expensive. Mr Coleman exchanged many emails with me, to make sure I got the faucet I wanted. He was very patient. When the faucet arrived, he arrived when he said he would, installed the faucet, fixed the toilet and cleaned up and left. Very professional service.

The guy was great. He was efficient. He was very conscientious. He makes sure he cleaned up. He was reasonably priced and transparent.

Water was slowly leaking into the basement from a pipe that was behind sealed drywall. It only took him a couple of minutes to determine the point of the leak, which was a nail through the drywall that pierced the pipe. He was able to work on the pipe with only a small amount of drywall removed, and he repaired it.

Mark is AWESOME! He showed up on time, was very professional, worked cleanly and quickly and was super nice. The poor guy! I am first time mom and still not sleeping much so I didn't even think to clean behind the fridge or the kitchen for that matter. Mark ended up sticking his hand in egg on the counter..... and then we pulled out the fridge and there were huge dust bunnies and broken glass (???) underneath! He just took it all in stride while I was totally embarrassed! :) I know he used good materials because it was the same piping that my friend's father (a former plumber) used in her house. Mark even quickly fixed our leaky sink which I asked about at the very end of the appointment. And get this.... he didn't take as long as he expected to on the job so he charged me LESS than the estimate! How often does that happen with a contractor???!! :) We've been on Angie's List for 3 years now and we've had some hits and misses with contractors off of it. There are very few people we would actually recommend... but we can add Mark to that list! :)

The sump pump in our basement began making a loud noise and would not shut off unless it was unplugged. After reviewing Angie's List for a plumber, I found Mark Coleman Plumbing. Because he had excellent ratings, I emailed him and relayed my problem. Mark contacted me right away and answered all my questions regarding the noise. We set up an appointment. The day of the appointment he arrived exactly when he said he would. He removed the old sump pump and installed a better unit all in less than a hour. The cost for the pump replacement was very reasonable. Mark is very personable and very professional and very experienced. He is also honest. He even mentioned that he had a coupon that I could use. I was not aware of a coupon and I appreciated that he brought this to my attention. I highly recommend Mark for other Angie List members and I am definitely going to use him again and I plan to refer him to my friends who are not Angie list members.

He was prompt, professional and got right to work snaking the main floor powder room sink. He then did the other sink and was able to clear it without using the snake. He offered a reduced rate for the 2nd sink because he didn't have to snake it and gave us the $10 off Angie's List coupon (which I had forgotten about). We will definitely be calling Coleman in the near future when we replace our water heater!

Mark is great. This is the second time I have used him and definitely recommend him and will use again. He's responsive, punctual, professional, friendly and explains everything.

He was very professional, smart, straight forward, and trustworthy. I didn't get the feeling that he was trying to rip me off. I did do price comparisons before hiring him and found that his prices were very competitive and reasonable. Also, what's great about his service is that you can keep in touch with him email, which is convenient.

Mr. Coleman is a consummate professional. He responded to my email enquiry promptly, even though it was after normal office hours, looked at photos of my existing fixtures and gave me an advance estimate of the replacement cost. He arrived punctually on the day of the job, advised me of possible contingencies if he found galvanized pipes instead of copper ones in my older house (this didn't happen) and completed a difficult job in a very timely manner, without having any access to the back of the tiled wall he was working on. He spent a considerable amount of time cleaning the bathroom after he had finished working so that I did not have to deal with any of the dust released during the process. Mr Coleman carries out work of a very high standard and takes pride in a job well done. He was a pleasure to deal with and I will definitely be using him again in the future.

Pressure is much better now and I can dial the different settings which were stuck from the corrosion before he cleaned it. He is very good and I really liked him. No mess, on time and he even came by to see what kind of replacement he needed to purchase for the tub leak prior to coming. Had to cancel first appointment due to snow storm but sent me email early in morning to let me know.

My 8 year old kitchen disposal was leaking from the housing - sent Mark an email requesting quotation to replace it with a similar unit. I received a prompt email response with information on the replacement unit and cost for the total job. I gave him the go-ahead by email - Mark arrived at the scheduled time and replaced the disposal and the drain pipe. He was meticulous in his work and took the extra time to tell me about some of the different operating aspects of the new unit. He is a true professional who enjoys his work and provides the straight story on service, products and price. I appreciate the use of email, including the copy of the invoice received, after signing it on his iPad. He also provided a quotation at my request to replace my 20-year old water heater. In summary, I'm quite please to find a local master plumber with such integrity and great work ethic.

Mark Coleman responded to my call very quickly and gave me a price over the phone after I sent him pictures of my existing water heater and piping configuration. It took me a few weeks to go ahead with the installation, and once I I called him, he ordered the water heater and installed it all within a few days. Mark was right on time, was personable and explained the new equipment to me before he finished up. The old equipment was hauled away, and everything was left very neat and clean. A few weeks ago, I discovered a leak which seemed to be coming from underneath the water heater, so I called Mark. He came over on a holiday and found that the leak was coming from the shut-off valve for the outside hose bib. The valve cap hadn't been seated quite straight so it was dripping slowly. Although it had nothing to do with the water heater he had installed, he fixed it and wouldn't let me pay him even though I offered and fully expected to pay him for his time and the trip out here, which was at least 15 miles from his house. He's a class act and He will certainly be my plumber from now on!

It went great. On time, immediately responsive and very very FAIR. We also had him fix a few things over the summer of 2013. The kitchen sink and a toilet. The cost for both of them was around $150,which seemed very fair to me.

One of our bathroom sinks wasn't draining at all, so I e-mailed Mark and he responded right away. He came out promptly and was able to clear the clog in a very short time. Both before and after doing the work, he explained everything very thoroughly -- no surprises. I really like using e-mail to contact him, I also like that he responds almost immediately. His response time is excellent, and he is thorough in explaining what he has done. Great experience!

He did everything by email, which I like. He will email you back quickly and he will ask you to take a picture of the problem. He just does great work. He will come out with all of the parts you need so he does not waste your time. He comes out quickly to do the work. His prices are very reaosnable as well.

Mark is very professional, punctual and does quality work. Mark is also very responsive to any questions or concerns you might have. Mark also repaired a leak in the same bathroom last year under my toilet in the crawl space. I have not had any problems since then. I would definitely recommend Coleman's and hire them again.

We hired him to install a new sump pump and battery backup and to install an S trap in a bathroom that didn't have one. He showed up right on time as scheduled. He seemed knowledgeable and above board, and everything went well. I have since emailed him a few times about various unrelated issues we've been having that seemed potentially plumbing related, and he's always very responsive and helpful. Having a plumber you can trust is really important when you own a house, and I'm pleased that I think we've found one.

After seeing the photos, he e-mailed me back and told me he would not take the job... Never had anything like that happen before. A wonderful guy from McCarthy Services just replaced both faucets, and all is well.

Replace water heater and sump pump.

He was very efficient, found the problem and we would recommend him highly. Very pleasant, very efficient young man, very impressed with him. He is so good, that you may pay a bit extra because he finds the problem from the get-go.

We had been struggling with poor water pressure in our master shower for sometime and also were experiencing some problems with a running toilet. We finally decided to call a plumber and contacted Mark Coleman based upon positive reviews we saw on Angie's List. Mark responded to my call promptly and came to our house the very next day to check out the situation. Within about an hour and a half Mark had repaired our toilet and removed a dirty screen from our shower head and the water pressure was amazing! We were prepared to pay a lot more to improve our water pressure and Mark worked his magic for $30! The total for the two jobs was under $200 (including replacing much of the inner workings of our toilet). We would definitely recommend Mark and we plan to use him again in the future. Great experience overall!

From initial contact through to invoicing and payment, everything went perfectly. Most notably the plumbers honesty. I thought the inlet valves were for 1" pipe and when the plumber got to the worksite he indicated they were 3/4" which was less money. He could have sold me the higher priced work, but didn't. The plumber's concern about keeping work area clean and avoiding tracking stuff through the house exceeded even my own expectations of myself. Althought that might not be saying much. Extremely well done and will hire again when the opportunity arises.

Mark was great, he was punctual, fast, and had the right parts on him. Very clean, You wouldn't be able to tell service was performed in those areas. I will definitely use him for any future plumbing needs.
