I could not have asked for better service! In the midst of 90 degree and above temps and high humidity, my AC stopped working during a thunderstorm. I called Cold Comfort HVAC Services after a friend told me about the company, and Antonio (the owner) came out that same day, diagnosed the problem, ordered the needed parts and came the next morning to install them. He was prompt, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He told me what to expect and kept me informed. The job was completed quickly and at a very reasonable cost. We discussed how to avoid such a problem in the future, and he told me about a surge protector that would prevent the motor from being disabled in the event of another electrical hit. I really appreciated this type of help and bought the specially designed protection device. I had used another company for years, but in this instance they left me "hanging" for 5 days without AC. I have now switched my maintenance services to this reliable and reasonable company, Cold Comfort HVAC Services and will tell all my friends that this is a trustworthy and caring company!

The people from Cold Comfort were amazing. Our furnace died on a Friday during a very cold spell of weather, and by Saturday night we had a brand new furnace filling the house with comfy, delightful warm air. One of the workers spent the entire day, well into the evening, even though I kept insisting he go home to his family. He told me the system would be up and running by the end of the day and he kept his promise, even though it was a difficult installation due to the idiosyncrases of our old furnace and ducting. They returned in the next few days to install an air conditioner as we requested because the one we had was almost forty years old and would probably need replacing very soon. And because I mentioned the fact that there had always been such a temperature difference between the first and second floors, they came back and installed a damper in the ducting - at no charge. The workers from Cold Comfort were very warm and friendly and great about showing up on time and returning calls and/or texts in a timely way. They showed unbelievable attention to detail and were happy to answer our many questions. When a minor problem arose, they were back the next day to address it. We recommend them highly!
