Clutterbusters!! started in 2002 and is the premier organizing company and one of the leading innovators in the organizing profession. Bonded and insured, all of our organizers are also covered by workers comp insurance and background checked. We specialize in large and difficult jobs where many hours of organizing may be required. We can have one organizer come out and work with you or a team!! (2-10 organizers). Organizing is a very specialized skill requiring a unique attention to detail and the needs of the person or persons that are being assisted. All of our Clutterbusters!! Certified Organizers are educated and proficient in the psychology of getting organized. We have done over 30,000 hours of organizing!!

Outstanding! Absolutely outstanding! Here is what they do. My husband passed away. I moved from a big house to my new little house. I had something like 67 boxes left when the movers dropped everything off. I was absolutely overwhelmed. I said to my sister if there are people who pack you, there must be people who unpack you. I found them. They were two young women. Both were a couple of years out of college. I don't know if they want to make this their life careers but they were amazing! They walked in. We set the goals for each day. At the end of the day we reviewed the goals. They were personable and professional. One time I just invited them over for lunch because I liked being with them. It was so charming. Everything I've ever asked is done...it's done well. It's done with a lot of consideration and respect. There is nothing even close to them. They are just wonderful. One of the ladies that had worked with me over the summer came back. I did it all through the company. She came back and I had everything pulled out that needed to go up. Then upstairs closets I had everything I wanted to come down. She took care of that. Then she organized the closets upstairs so any thing I want by category is all together. So she really goes the extra mile. Because I use them so much, I got something of a discount at $65 an hour. I would tell others that they need to be committed to the work. That the company certainly expects highly professional, personable workers. If they want to work a lot...get called a lot, they have to met the high standards of the company. The quality of the work is so good. Any time I need anything that they could do, I will use them.
Description of Work: I used them this past July and then I just had another time where one of the ladies came over last week. It was on a Sunday. What I did then is, I wanted my winter clothes to be in the closet of my bedroom. Then I have two other clothes closets upstairs and I wanted them to be reorganized.

Clutterbusters is awesome! We were putting off cleaning/organizing our garage for a long time. The thought of it was overwhelming. I purchased an Angie's List deal and they were able to fit me in on the date I requested. My organizer was fantastic. She listened to my organization complaints and needs and moved quickly and efficiently to sort through our belongings (trash, donate, store, etc). We got rid of so much stuff that had been piling up over the years. I will definitely use them in the future and highly recommend to others.

I do not know where I would be without the two wonderful young women who showed up at my door, smiling and ready to work. I had to convince them to take a lunch break. They were incredibly self-motivated, efficient, and kind. They took me from a state of utter panic to a very relaxed state of well-being. They were respectful of my property, my home, my "treasures," and I miss having them here. If you are in the process of moving, do not wait, call this company immediately. They are worth every penny they charge.
Description of Work: I just moved into my new home. As is often the case with people my age, their children are too busy and their friends too old to help. I was facing 60 boxes and no idea of how to get started. I needed to have boxes emptied, life-long accumulations put away in an organized manner, ahd help making decisions regarding next steps.

I purchased this service as a special deal of $99 for two hours. The appointment was scheduled in good time, and the "clutter buster" was punctual, pleasant and effective. She helped sort materials into piles to throw away and keep. It helped us break through what had been a very stressful and tedious task, and we have managed to remain well organized since.

She arrived a little early for our appointment, but dove right in. We started going through our day and walking through the house to identify our areas of greatest organizational need. She had a number of great suggestions for how to get some smart storage and for some habits that might help us better deal with our daily mail and bills. We had purchased the 2 hour deal - and while I originally thought we'd just spend the whole 2 hours organizing the office, I think the more holistic approach was definitely more helpful. We've already put some of her suggestions into practice - sorting mails and bills into bins and reserving the same time each week to sort through them , a over-the-door valet in our bedroom to put items that can be worn again, and I've ordered some shelves to gain some additional storage space in an overlooked part of our basement. We've started sorting through the office, and while it's going well on our own, I would strongly consider hiring Mary again to help us continue through the process. It's a lot easier to stay focused and productive when you have someone there on the job. Overall, I was very impressed with Clutterbusters and I think they have certainly helped us get back on track.
Description of Work: Our provider was Mary Logan - she walked through the house while talking to us about how we organized our things. She provided tips and suggestions for how to use our space and storage more efficiently. She helped us organize our office space and sort through items.

Somehow, the appointment widget to confirm the exact date and time of the appointment was not working properly. It made setting the appointment more difficult than necessary. I had been very detailed via email about the day and time that I preferred and answered twice via email before Ms. Fein was able to understand that the widget did not work and that I needed a confirmation. Mary arrived punctually. She also communicated with me via email prior to the appointment, answering questions I had. Mary is very skilled, very calm and very effective. Mary got me unstuck in one three hour session. Very grateful for the experience and her expertise. I purchased a two-hour special for $99 and was offered the opportunity to buy additional hours at $75 per hour. Altogether, I purchased an additional hour for a total of three hours.
Description of Work: Mary came into my confusion and helped me sort a path through piles of paper that had me frozen and frustrated.

If there was a grade higher than an "A"Clutterbusters and Mary (my organizer) deserve it. I ended up purchasing an additional eight hours somImhad two five hour sessions. She was on time to the minute. The first session we completely organized my basement so now I can actually find things, it's no longer a scary dungeon. (After Mary left I stood in the basement for several minutes just admiring it.). The second session I was having serious problems with arthritis and wasn't able to help, but she cleared out the foyer and a hall closet. Little knicknacks I've been looking for were found in a box high up in the coat closet, and enough cleaning supplies were scattered around the hall closet that I won't have to buy any more for at least a year. It was awesome, I can't recommend them high enough, they are worth every single penny.

Kathryn aggressively took items, and helped me make decisions as to their propose and what should be done with them. She was very respectful to my thoughts but still got me to make decisions that I had not been able to make on my own.Her organizing skills are excellent. I think it went okay. I thought that they moved a little slower and I was not able to accomplish as much as I would have liked but what got accomplished I think that they did a really good work. I think they did the work roughly a couple of months later. I think I probably spent twice as much as what was on the big deal of Angie?s List. I thought that the men who came out were really nice and I thought that they were really good but I think the pace that I was trying to accomplish things, they needed to accomplish it after. That was the first time I used them. They were definitely on time. They were professional.

They did what I needed. Someone came out and at my request sat with me and organized pile of papers on my dining table into files and placed them into folders which I could then move to my file cabinet upstairs. She ensured that I stuck with this boring task until it was done and helped me determine what to keep and what to throw away, which was worth every bit of the fee. Clutterbusters did not have the opportunity to show their stuff as far as principles for keeping clutter out of one's life--at my insistence, they were minding me and helping with a defined task which had been left undone far too long--but they responded to my immediate need, with good cheer and great ability to hold me to the task. I really appreciated the help, flexibility, and common sense applied to the chore..

It went incredibly well! They were very punctual and professional. THey worked hard and very carefully. Questions were asked about items that were questionable. It was overwhelming for the owner to get rid of the stuff that had accumulated in the house from other family members living there and leaving their hoard. With the help of the 3 Clutterbuster personnel, Order was restored in less than 4 days. IT would have taken the owner weeks to get the same amount of work and sorting done by herself. They also took items to the library and charity for a very minimal charge. The other Items were stored in the garage until they could be picked up by other charities that could accept them. The and quot;trash itemsand quot; were put directly in the dumpster and it was hauled away. No multiple trips to the dump. Yes it was pricey, but well worth getting it done quickly and so well. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to those who need help.
Description of Work: Came into a 2-level house that was stuffed with things in every room. They worked with the owner to separate 1) things that were to kept and were put into labeled boxes; 2) things to be donated to charity; 3) things to be trashed - they had organized a dumpster for the location so trash went straight into dumpster.

I was very nervous about letting someone see my cluttered storage area and about how it would go. However, Leslie was really sweet, put me at ease immediately, and patiently worked with me without pressuring me to get rid of EVERYTHING. I took advantage of a two hour block of time for $99 through an Angie's List offer. It was a great experience and wish I could afford to keep paying for help decluttering. I have continued to purge and organize (not as efficiently as I did with Leslie's help) using the techniques taught to me that day.

Gillian was amazing!! First, she evaluated the rooms in my house. Then, we came up with a plan and began to clear the clutter in my living room, dining room, and family room. She gave me wonderful advice and tips on how to organize and how to keep a space clutter-free once I've reclaimed the space. Even after we cleared the living room, I could feel the cobwebs in my head start to clear and I was able to focus better on each task. I still have a long way to go, but having a starting place and an process has truly encouraged me. I would love to work with Gillian and Clutterbusters!!! again in the future to help me further organize my other problem areas like my closets. I would also love to seek their guidance on how to more effectively use my space to help me avoid ending up in the same situation again in the future. Clutterbusters is the best!!!
