Response from Carpet Palace
Dear Mrs. [removed member name], I am sorry that you were not satisfied with the service. There are certain things that are beyond our control. The carpet is produced by different manufacturers and although rare, there are defects that are missed by the manufacturer or damages during shipment that are hidden until we prepare the carpet for the installation. Unfortunately the original carpet was damaged was not useable, therefore we had to postpone the original installation. The new material was ordered and in order to shorten your wait for the installation we scheduled the installation before receiving the carpet. Unfortunately the shipment was delayed by the common carrier and we had to postpone the installation until we received the carpet. The seams in the carpet are unavoidable if the room width is wider than the width of the carpet. We use industry standard for seaming and seam preparation for all our carpets. That said, some carpets are much more prone to showing seams than other. The lower the pile or flatter the carpet, the more prone it is to show the seam. The carpet you had selected was low pile loop construction. Please contact us and we will do everything to make sure you are satisfied with the work. If our efforts still fall short to repair the seams to your satisfaction, we can offer you a replacement with another style that hides seams better. Sincerely, Mark Afkhami
