We contracted with Bucheimer Design & Build to construct a 2-story addition attached to existing house, total approximately 900 square feet. This was a complex addition as the main house is over 70 years old and first floor existing kitchen had to open up to the new great room. The upstairs master bedroom included 2 closets, 1 walk-in and master bath with skylight. They put a new HVAC system in place, and were agreeable, whenever possible, to recycle our other materials. The Bucheimers were impeccable and helpful in every way. We had a general design plan, and they were able to seamlessly modify and offer new suggestions regarding practicality and design. The structure was worked on during the winter months and took approximately 4 months to complete. They diligently worked - sometimes under poor weather conditions. We highly recommended Bucheimer Design and Build. Throughout the entire build, their team and all contracted workers were top of the line, very professional, knowledgeable, and polite. They followed their financial estimate meticulously and offered suggestions for cost effectiveness. We would absolutely love to work with them again! Thanks guys – the addition is beautiful and solid and a warm and welcome addition for our family!

Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Bucheimer was not the least expensive estimate we got to remodel our small family bathroom but we decided to go with them based on a glowing recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed! The design process was made very easy, the demo and construction was relatively painless, the crew was incredibly friendly and courteous, and the final product was gorgeous. The quality of the work is worth every last penny. We are happy to give Bucheimer our highest recommendation.

David and Lisa Bucheimer are true professionals. They have done several projects in our neighborhood, and the neighbors have all recommended them to me. I gave Lisa maybe 100 photos from magazines and web sites, each flagged with a note about what I liked in that particular photo. She took all those disparate ideas and returned with suggestions and samples, ALL of which I loved. From lighting to fixtures to tiles to finishes, she had listened carefully to my preferences. David came up with several options for reconfiguring the layout of the bathroom, with lots of options to accommodate budget. They began work about 2 weeks late, but were in communication about the reasons, and I do understand that delays occur. The demolition was excellent. They were meticulous about keeping the dust and debris confined, using a zippered tent to access the area, plastic on the carpet, and cardboard over any area they would walk on. They gave us the option of having a port-a-potty for the workers or having them use the powder room. The demolition crew was great. Very respectful of our home and hard workers. The carpenters were also wonderful. Dan is meticulous and a perfectionist, and made sure everything was done well. He found what could be a potential problem underneath the existing tub, and needed to tear out some already completed work, including have the plumber return. I appreciated his integrity in this matter, and was fine with the extra two days of construction time to do the job right. The coordination of delivery of materials, cabinets, tiles, fixtures, etc, was seamless. The project ran about two weeks over estimated time, but I appreciated their thorough and meticulous work. I have recommended them to many friends, and I would use them again in a heartbeat. The cost of the project was more than we had originally planned to spend but worth every penny, and so very glad we went with them. We are hoping to have them add a portico over our front door in the next year or two.

Renovating a kitchen and master bath, while remaining in your home, can potentially be a traumatic experience. From start to finish, the Bucheimers made the process as painless as it could possibly be. They had done other work in our neighborhood and the beautiful kitchen and bath projects spoke for themselves. During the design phase, they worked diligently and patiently with us moving the process forward having as their main priority that we get exactly what we wanted. During demolition and construction, we were impressed not only by the quality of their work and the competence of their subcontractors but by their willingness to meet our needs. Their level of responsiveness was outstanding and their adherence to delivering a high quality product appeared to always be driving their energies. They were flexible when we proposed changes and accommodated some additional work we wanted done. Their on-site manager was here every day doing and overseeing what needed to be done. We were not only extremely confident in his competence and professionalism but he was terrific to deal with. We love our new kitchen and bath and would not hesitate to use the Bucheimers again.

They were very good at working with us to figure out what we wanted and keeping it within our budget. They were extremely conscientious and detailed oriented. They were very pleasant to work with and they were flexible. In addition they were extremely patient with me. The quality of the work and every sub contractor that they brought in was superb. They were concerned with us being pleased with the end result and they worked with us until it was exactly how we wanted it. There were some things that I wanted that they did not agree with and they provided a rationale for their reasoning along with their suggestions. They were very professional and every time there was a change order it was done in a detailed manner. They gave full receipts and documentation for the costs and there were no surprises. We were very pleased with them and the painful process of remodeling was made as painless as possible by them. I would recommend them highly without reservations.
