Description of Work: I purchased my range from Bray & Scarf. The seller/store was wonderful. My complaint is with their repair service. I called to tell them what was malfunctioning with my range, to hire them to bring the part and replace it. I knew the cost from on line research. I was informed that they needed to "diagnose" the problem. What I was not told was that this was in addition to the repair. The service technician came, told me that the part I had told them to bring was indeed something that needed to be replaced and that I could approve their purchase of the part and pay them to return and replace it. With the cost of a diagnostic trip, the repair was near the cost of a new range. There was no discount for the "diagnostic trip." If you call this repair shop, expect the repair to cost an additional $89. I did not approve the repair and purchased another new stove...from another dealer. The main store lost a repeat client here due to the service department.

Description of Work: Our refrigerator broke. What broke was the fan that draws air up from the freezer, thereby cooling the refrigerator section. We called on October 1st. On October 8th, they were able to come out and look at the fridge. It took them three days to provide a quote, and this was in response to several calls to the service center. After providing the quote, they do not schedule the service call until the part arrives. They finally scheduled the repair for 10/22. I arranged my schedule to be there in the window. Then, the day of, they changed the time on us. Ultimately, it took us close to one (1) month to have our refrigerator repaired, when I have two children under the age of 5 in the house. I was incredibly disappointed, because I thought Bray and Scarff was an operation of high quality. If at all possible, I will not use them again.

THE COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE WAS VERY HELPFUL. THE WORKERS WERE NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID NOT DO THE JOB AS THEY WERE PAID TO DO. I WILL BE GETTING A ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLAR REFUND FROM THEM ON THEIR WORK.

COMPANY WAS VERY ENGAGED DURING THE DESIGN AND SELL PROCESS. HAD A GOOD SELECTION OF MATERIALS AND GOOD CONTRACTORS AND TRIED TO WORK OUT REASONABLE PRICES. AFTER THE CONTRACT WAS SIGNED HOWEVER THE DESIGNER DID NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS OR ENSURE THAT APPOINTMENTS WERE MADE AND KEPT.
Description of Work: COMPANY HELPED DESIGN RENOVATION FOR MY KITCHEN AND COORDINATED VARIOUS SUBCONTRACTORS. DESIGNER WORKED WITH ME ON SELECTION OF FLOORING AND COUNTERTOPS AND APPLIANCES.
