This group was amazing. They packed my furniture better than anything I've seen and were speedy. A bunch of items that I had no time to pack were thrown in a closet to deal with later (and closet door shut. I got home and they had even packed those items in a box and moved it, remaining in the time window estimated. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Artisan movers sent Leonardo to perform the estimate for the move. I had already interviewed two other movers and Leonardo was easily the best in terms of his honest appraisal, setting our minds at ease and not being terribly nitpick about each and every detail. The other two movers I interviewed each tried to up-sell me as well as specified numerous constraints and costs that left my head spinning. Artisan movers on the other hand provided a thorough estimate with no hidden charges. I was able to secure cell numbers for Marc and Leonardo in case something got delayed on the day of the move since I was on a tight schedule. This put my mind at ease regarding scheduling since that is one of the biggest gaps in any move. I was taking a whole day off to make this move go through and had lined up storage for the next day and after that was off out of town for 4 days. So this had to go as scheduled. That was the top priority. On the day of the move I got a call from Chris early saying the crew, of which Chris was the lead would be there by 8:30 am to start the move. As promised, they arrived on time. There were a couple of items that Chris pointed to and indicated that these were already damaged before the move. Nothing was broken or lost during the move. The move itself went exactly as planned. I had added an additional stop and that took us into DC and Chris had no problem with that. The crew placed all boxes exactly where I wanted it and at the end I felt like this was a well executed operation from start to finish. I would recommend Artisan Movers any day. They are thorough and professional.

Professional, punctual, friendly and FAST. I was a little wary going into it since last moving company we used (back in 2014, wish I could remember the name) were either hustlers or incompetent and I'm certain that they were dragging their feet in order to drive up the price of the job (ended up taking 3 grown men almost 8 hours at the cost of well over a grand for moving 2 bedroom apartment's worth of minimalistic furniture—highway robbery of the highest order). Well, I am happy to say that Artisan Movers has restored my faith in moving companies because our guys showed up on time, knew what the heck they were doing, moved like greased lightning and finished 2 hours early, reassembly and all. Heck, they even threw in a "welcome home" gift basket! Next time we move, Artisan Movers it is.

They were able to schedule the next day,arrived on time and finished in the expected time period. The crew was friendly and worked hard.

These movers were excellent. They came prepared with all the necessary supplies. They secured all of my belongings appropriately, and everything was moved smoothly.

I can't say enough about how great Artisan Movers was. From the request for a quote which came expediently to the confirmation that we were on the schedule. Chris and his team showed up on time, did a walk through of our place and then immediately got to work. They were experienced, professional and extremely hardworking! They were careful to ensure that everything was secure and not damaged in transit. We are so happy we used Artisan Movers and will definitely use them again.

It went smoothly. The main contact person was professional. The work manager worked hard. From beginning to end, each mover did his best. When time remained, they asked if there was anything else we could help with. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to anybody.

My wife and I decided on the very day of our move to look for some Rockville movers instead of doing it ourselves with a rental truck, after all, moving with two young children and a dog sounds like lots of fun…wink wink.
