Service was excellent. The repair person arrived on schedule, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He also made the whole system operate faster than before it stopped working.

WE were very pleased with his responsveness and knowlsedge. Also, it was helpful that he came to the house.

They came on time and did a superb job. I tried to turn my computer on this morning and everything started buzzing. I got a bunch of messages saying to restart the computer. I called him this morning and he said he'd be here mid afternoon. He came in a 2 pm and just left. He does a great job getting everything.

Great. Fred used a program to clean up my files and diagnosed the issue with the printer/scanner immediately. I will have him return after 6 months or so to repeat the cleanup on my main laptop, my wife's, and my backup.

It all went very smoothly -- the evaluation was performed as I watched and we discussed the repair options. The repaired computer was available for pickup two days later and has been working very well. The technician explained the situation very clearly and didn't talk "over my head" with lots of jargon, perfect for older clients who are not "techies."

He was very polite. He gave out his business card. With just a few buttons he got everything running again. He did a very good job.

It turned out well. He was very helpful. I didn't pay more than the $80. He followed through to make sure that everything was okay and that we were happy and didn't have any additional problems with the computer. That was good of him. He was very professional and we were happy with his service. The price was good.

He was very nice, and very professional. Showed up on time, explained everything that he was doing. didn't draw out the work so that I was paying much more than I had expected. I had him do a few things that caused the time to run a little longer, but was very satisfied with the work and the cost.

I have been using computers for almost thirty years. I have never had a problem which I couldn?t fix myself. I recently had several severe problems which I couldn?t fix in 4-6 weeks of effort; I had done everything. I called Acom and was visited by Fred. Fred is a treasure, a great guy, very talented and a pleasure to work with. He fixed the problem in an hour. I would highly recommend Fred without reservation.

Work was done as requested. Fred is a good guy and knows his stuff. He is an expert on computers and is always willing to go the extra mile for his customers.

Owner Fred carefully labeled all the equipment cords and prepared computer and printers for the move - then on second visit, he hooked everything up at the new residence and tested it to make sure all components were working well. He recommended future checkup visits every 6 months to maintain system health. Very patient person who cheerfully answered all my many questions.

The service turned out wonderful. He was very prompt in coming out, he was a little expensive side, and after he took off the Angie's List discount, it was $95 an hour. He installed all the programs, did updates, and reinstalled the Nortons. He was experienced, very good, and he was good at explaining what was wrong with the computer. He was very very honest.

After the home visit and discovery that the computer was so infected with malware that it had to be wiped clean, Fred worked on the computer from his office and within a couple of days it was ready. When I had some follow-up questions once I got it home Fred was very responsive and helpful and walked me through what I needed to do over the phone. I have called on Fred twice now for computer help and he is always a pleasure to work with and does absolutely excellent work. When I don't understand something he patiently explains it to me in laymans terms so in addition to getting help with the computer I am also learning something new! He provides outstanding customer service and high quality professional computer assistance.

Fred (the owner) told me he'd work on it that day. He called a few hours later to say the printer was fixed. He'd found the paper jam was not completely cleared. He cleared it, tested the printer thoroughly and made a few suggestions for keeping the printer running smoothly. I had my printer back the same day which was great. Fred was very professional and pleasant to deal with. I will definitely be returning to ACOM for computer and printer needs.

The desktop had a bad hard drive - Fred was able to get my files out of the bad drive before installing a new drive then he reinstalled the windows software and dell drives that I provided. I screwed up the laptop be stopping a windows upgrade before it was complete. Fred had to re-format the drive to get everything working. Not horrible because when I was in to have my PC repaired last year Fred convinced me that I needed to have an external backup so I can get all my files back from Carbonite.

He spent over 3 hours with me finding over 1800 files that were infected (the most, he said, he had ever seen on one computer.) He cleaned the files, a tedious job, and brought the computer back to functioning speed with no pop-ups appearing. Several days later I executed a restore back to the day Fred finished the repair to resolve issues with my desktop icons. Big mistake -- because I inadvertently caused a complete computer melt down. I contacted Fred again and he recommended that I bring the computer in to his office. This I did and he determined that nothing could be saved. Overnight he wiped my machine clean and restored windows and a few other programs for which I had serial numbers. I picked up the computer the next day, paid him an additional $168.75 and now have a well functioning, pop-up free computer. Fred took great pains to explain his procedures and gave me a very fair price, I felt. He called me back a day or two later to make sure everything was functioning properly -- it was.
