Description of Work: I was looking for a piece of granite for my bathroom vanity. I was able to look at their remnants and find something I liked without buying a slab. They cut it to size and installed a sink for me. Very easy to work with and reasonably priced.

Description of Work: We had a complete kitchen remodel. Included in the cost of our kitchen were the cabinets we ordered, delivery, installation, removal of old cabinets, plumbing, relocation of plumbing (moved our sink), outlets, granite we selected, under cabinet LED lights, faucet we purchased from ABKA and door handles we purchased through ABKA. Our sales associate was extremely helpful and patient. Some cabinet doors had to be replaced due to manufacturer error. Carolyn handled the reorder with the manufacturer with no issue. The installer also forgot to install a spacer that was in our kitchen design, so it necessitated a removal of one side of our kitchen and re-installation of the spacer. It was not a big deal. Overall, we are very happy with the result. I would definitely recommend ABKA. We originally walked into the store to look at granite, not realizing that ABKA designs kitchens. We were very happy with the estimate.

Description of Work: Won't even consider servicing our kitchen sink countertop in 10year old house we just bought unless they did the original installation. (Trying to install a sink top switch for the food waste disposal). They also Couldn't or wouldn't offer a referral to another company. Also did not offer to check whether they did the original installation by checking their records. I think I understand their hesitancy to do work on somebody else's installation; there may have been questionable work done, and they don't want to look responsible for hidden problems made previously. However, for anyone buying a new home, getting the information about who did the original installation can be very challenging and hence a blanket refusal is frustrating and intrinsically alienating to the potential consumer. If you are in comparable situation, try to find out the original installer. In the meantime, I'd give the customer service a low rating for not being especially customer-centered, for his underperformance in terms of explaining the policy, what circumstances they do work like this (he implied that sometimes there are exceptions), and not coming up with any helpful troubleshooting suggestions for the inquiring customer. In short, I think that they could have done a better job, and poorer than I'd expect from a top company. D or F would be inappropriate. But I think the c grade captures several lost opportunities to troubleshoot/help out, especially in light of the difficulties faced by a home owner that didn't do the original install.

Description of Work: Sold and installed kitchen granite tops. One of the pieces had a scratch. Took a while, but the problems was resolved by them having a professional granite restorer come in, and at their expense, and repair the scratch.

Description of Work: They were very proffessional, on time, fast and clean! We changed all our cabinets/countertops and we were surprised how fast and clean it was done. Having 2 kids and no kitchen was a concern, but ABKA team couldn't make it faster and easier for us. In total we were so happy with their service and we highly recommend them. We absolutely love our new kitchen, specially our Granite counter top!

 + -1 moreAfter the initial consultation they sent us to a granite wholesaler where we had 100s of slabs to choose from. We wrote down our favorites and Jeff priced them out. We ended up getting a unique stone (not found at any other retailer for $57 per square ft with installation and 4inch backsplash. We paid a little over $300 as a deposit on our stone. The original plans we showed them and that the estimate was based on was about 10 square ft less than our final design. They kept the same per square ft price even though this required a new slab. We dropped off our sink for the cut out. When there was a problem Jeff called and went over undermount options, even faxing me a drawing of our different options. The gentleman that came to our house to measure was very good. He even gave me several options for where to place the seam. During installation our cabinets were not quite level and the installers raised and lowered as necessary. I am so pleased with the finished product.
