Our overall experience was excellent; I would certainly hire them again. Getting a quote was easy and I appreciated that moving supplies were included to avoid driving up costs. 495 followed up with us several times to answer questions and to secure our preferred moving date. The movers arrived on time, worked diligently and never once complained about the sleet, the loft bed or my lack of preparedness! They graciously stepped in to finish packing for me and assured me I could relax and let them take care of it. They did and outstanding job and in return we tipped them handsomely.

They were super aggressive following the request for quotes. They were not the cheapest, but they were prompt in response and thorough in doing a site estimate. I didnâ t trust the low-ball estimates I received with no site survey that relied solely on me to give them the inventory. For a whole house move I wanted professionals. They tried to switch the rate and number of movers after the fact because they thought they couldnâ t do it in the time they originally quoted, but since we packed and moved some on our own, the ended up finishing several hours under the original quote. Furniture wasnâ t broken, but they did leave a few items in the old house we had to go back and get.

I hired them on short notice before my move so they could only estimate an arrival time. However they arrived earlier than their estimate and were very professional in getting the van secured in the loading dock and gaining access to the freight elevator and apartment. From the moment they entered my apartment they were efficient in moving forward with the moving process. They were also efficient and careful in moving my furniture into the final residence. No items were damaged. Very satisfied!

We had a very difficult move -- 3 bedroom house plus woodshop (table saw and other tools), garden equipment and recording studio -- plus a large pile of heavy reclaimed wood timbers. The company reps stood by their commitments (delivered as described, etc.). The moving team members were cheerful, friendly, and hard-working in spite of the difficulty of the move. They finished on time and delivered the full load as scheduled. Nothing broken or damaged. It was a costly move, but no more than other estimates we received (we contacted 4 companies). Highly recommend 495 Movers!

The three young guys we had must have been your best. So helpful ....so easy to get along with. Anything I asked if they would be able to do always "sure we can do that"...and NO wasting of time. They had everything down pat. Very very pleased.

The packing and loading/unloading crew were top notch in their business. They worked efficiently, quickly and unloaded just as well! They were friendly and kept us informed as to what was going on or needed to be done.

Really great experience. Moved a 3 bd apt from DC to philly in one day without a hitch. Other companies were asking more money to do it over 2 days but 495 was very flexible with our schedule. Pricing was very straightforward. They offer free boxes for pickup from their offices, and when we didn't get enough the first time, Josh arranged for more to be delivered to us, free of charge. But really the best part was our moving team. These guys got straight to business, were super efficient and went to great lengths to carefully wrap all of our furniture. Everything made it without a scratch. would 100% recommend and wouldn't waist time searching for anyone else.

I was really impressed with the way the movers quickly and safely gathered my items. Not one thing was broken. The amount quoted in the estimate was exactly the amount charged at the end of the move. I moved from Arlington Va to Raleigh NC. They packed on one day and delivered the next.

I moved from Maryland to Delaware in June 2020. 495 Movers' service was great from the first day, especially Josh who was very helpful and answering all my questions. The workers packed the kitchen stuff for me and moved all my big furniture without any damage, they were fast and professional. I would recommend 495 Movers for my friends.

I can't express how satisfied we were with this move from my initial communication until the move was completed. I live in NC and I usually move my son when needed. However, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, I was unable to do so this time. I was worried because I wasn't there to make sure everything went smoothly. From my initial contact with 495 with Joshua, follow-up with Priscilla and actual move with Edwin and the team, the move was FABULOUS!!! Every contact I made with 495 Movers was professional and they really made me feel important. We had a two stop move and every step was done with perfection. If i could give a rating greater than 5 stars I would because they definitely did an AWESOME job and they put my mind at ease. Everyone did an exceptional job. They were professional, efficient and even kind. I was impressed with how they worked so hard and the exceptional value of paying for the move. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Ask for the "dream team" - Edwin, Roberto and Manny. They were wonderful!!! It was a 12-hour day and they worked very smart and hard (we had a big move and lots of steps). They didn't get any marks on my walls and my carpet is clean due to the great care they took (and it was raining). Great company and great staff!!!
