Working with 495Movers was excellent. They showed up on time, packed up the truck in record time and unloaded very quickly. No breakages AND they moved my plants, something most moving companies wouldn't do. They were easy to work with and schedule. I highly recommend them for your move.

I recently contracted with 495 Movers to move my household furnishing from Northern Virginia to my new residence in South Jersey. I interviewed several other moving firms before I signed the contract with 495 Movers. I was impressed with their level of service and that the contract would be of a flat rate, rather than by pounds of my household goods. I really could not understand how the other companies could accurately quote me with the number of pounds my furnishing would be and was not sure if I would be charged if the pounds exceeded their estimate. The crew from 495 Movers were on time for the initial packing day, and on time for the second day when they finished. All members of the crew were very professional, and considerate of my household goods. They were also on time for delivery of my household goods at my new residence in South Jersey the following day, 170 miles away. They followed my instructions as to where I wanted things to be put, and reassemble all the beds and tables, etc. The only thing I can add is that they were the best Movers I have experience in over 40 years. Their moving price was not the lowest or highest, but the quality of the move was the best. They packed the household goods so well, that nothing was damaged, and now the only thing I have left to do is to call my Township to have them pick up all the boxes and packing paper

I recently had the pleasure of using 495 Movers for a local move. They were the most professional, most responsive, and most expeditious moving company with whom I have workedâ and I have moved several times in the last 20 years. We did a FaceTime call to go over the particulars of the move, which was very safe and efficient given the spike in Covid. We received a bid very comparable to other movers, however the 495 Movers bid included tape, paper, moving boxes, and other necessities. The day of the move, Santos called a half hour before the teamâ s arrival. His team worked diligently and efficiently, showing the utmost care for all our valuables. The team of workers was very pleasant and professional. They packed and boxed a large townhouse within minutes of Santosâ s initial estimate. When they arrived at the new location, the team worked very quickly to move all our furniture into placeâ without a scratch to anything. They were very patient with us when we wanted a piece of furniture moved or changed. They completed the job in far less time than anticipated. I would highly recommend 495 Movers. Their professionalism, integrity, and efficiency are unparalleled. Thanks again for making (what we were imagining would be) a stressful experience and transition so smooth.

They were great. I needed to move my things into storage for a year and 495 Movers was able to help me with both - moving and storage! They wrapped everything up really well to protect it also. I was very pleased with them!

My entire experience was amazing moving our stuff from storage to our new home . I ended up paying a bit more than I was planning to but it was worth every penny! Gustavo and his team were phenomenal! They took great care of our things and I am forever grateful for a stress free move.

They were responsive. One of the few movers I contacted was willing to come out and give me an estimate. Workers were friendly and thorough. The only suggestion I would make is to be sure there is one person on move day at both pick up and drop off who speaks English well.

Excellent experience overall. In the beginning, it wasnâ t clear who managed our account which meant we were bopped around and made communication challenging but once we found our person, it was smooth sailing. Packers were very thorough. Movers were friendly, flexible, careful, and hardworking. There was some small damage on the leg of a sofa. We got three quotes; and 495 was middle of the pack when it came to cost. Highly recommend.

495 Movers were very quick to respond to a short lead time. Their coordinator was extremely accommodating. The movers arrived early and were extremely conscientious. The furniture arrived at the receiving point to a family that did not speak English. The wife who supervised the move was treated like a queen and they met every need through gestures and smiles all around the two toddlers on the floor. What a memory that I will not soon forget. Gerson and his team were absolutely amazing! They took care of all of over belongings and treated everything as if it were there own. The team moved swiftly and had us completely moved out of our apartment and into our house within 4 hours. I will never use another moving company again. I’m so glad to have found this company. 495 Movers we're nothing short of excellent. They were on time professional responsive and efficient. Became prepared to do work and with an attitude of customer service seldom seen in the industry. We really did not only hire them again, but will recommend them to anyone who needs a mover within the DMV area. They moved everything including our special piano and our chest freezer and we're very conscious of both our apartment and our new home. Highly recommended and thank you so very much for all of your help!!!

We had a very good experience with 495 Movers. Staff were professional and responsive. The packers did such a good job not ONE thing broke! (Unheard of for a cross country move). They beat their estimated earliest delivery date so we were in our house sooner than expected. Best of all, the final payment due after delivery was exactly what the estimator told us it would be - to the dollar. Granted, 495 was one of the higher quotes we received, but in the end, their service and professionalism was worth it. Weâ re happy we used them.

From the minute I made initial contact with Eden to inquire about a moving estimate to Marvin and his team departing our new home, everything was flawless. The professionalism of the entire staff (whom I will specifically commend in a moment) help alleviate the overall stress and worry associated with moving. I am a worrier by nature, and also very exacting in my standards, and 495 exceeded my expectations. Patrickâ s on-site review of our moving needs underscored my confidence in having hired a great company for this move-of-a-lifetime. He reassured me that what might seem like a daunting task in my eyes, was something that the 495 team was well-equipped to handle. Marvin and his crew: Milton, Josué, William, and Ronnie were magicians! I marveled at their strength, grace and efficiency in handling all of our furnishings. Add to that their kindness and pleasant manner, and that is a recipe for a winning team. Bravo! But the person that gets my highest praise is customer service rep Kira, for her extraordinary patience and professionalism with me as I peppered her with questions and concerns all along the way. Her calm and reassuring attitude was precisely the antidote for my worrywart nature!

We had in-town move. The movers worked hard and were efficient and professional It was very helpful to have a company rep come out and actually discuss the move and estimate the time and cost. Many other sites simply worked on-line. Although we moved only across town, our move had some unconventional aspects to it.
