Top-notch! Custom Works built a large patio, wall, fire pit, and beautiful stairs in our back yard. We were impressed with their professionalism throughout the whole process. Glen walked us through the different materials and building options based on our budget. Nich was professional in all of his emails and responded quickly when we wanted to increase the size of the patio. The building team was 100%! They were efficient and did beautiful work. We absolutely love how everything turned out and would contract Custom Works again without hesitation.

What can I say, Glen, Nich and his team of contractors did a great job on our deck. They exceeded my expectations and then some! There were so many options for materials and Glen helped us navigate what was best for us since price point was a thing for me to consider. Custom Works replaced my deck. Their work was top-notch, beyond I didn't expect. Every detail, from the railings w/ a assistance railing, the railings a bit higher than my old one, and the finishes. The steps between the steps are covered (to ensure nothing going under the stairs). The boarder is amazing that are attached to a border. 5 Stars!

A front and back porch was replaced so quickly that I was I impressed in that I had no inconvenience what so ever. Very capable young man came, did the work and left no mess behind. The salesman said, â This is what weâ ll doâ . I cannot see how it could be a better experience as everything went so smoothly from beginning to end as Glen stated it would.

We hired Custom Works to build a front porch and back deck at our house. The craftsmanship is top tier. We love both the back deck and front porch. They're both custom and match the architecture of the house. Glen was extremely knowledgable and professional. He knew his trades and his facts very well. Nich was very communicative and kept us in the loop throughout the build. They delivered as they said they would It was done quickly and efficiently and no mess was left. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for work.

Our deck was old and we were having waterflow problems, and we replaced it with a patio. It was a challenging job, because everything had to be brought in by wheelbarrow -- nothing was near a road or driveway. The crew was professional and did excellent work. We love our new patio.

I called Glen Wilson to discuss building a composite deck for our house in Easton Shore, MD. He came out within two days to look at my ideas and discuss our project. He helped me finalize a drawing for the final design and provided pricing. He then got on the phone with me and my real estate attorney who was helping me navigate the permit process. We were able to get approval for the deck and we were put on the schedule. We are very pleased with the quality of workmanship and the people who did the work. The project went quickly and we are very please with the quality result and detail. We are looking forward to many years of enjoyment from our shiny new deck. I highly recommend Custom Works for building a deck!

Our screened porch is now our favorite room in the house!! It took longer than expected due to supply shortages, but the result was definitely worth the wait!!

Custom Works showed up promptly to give an estimate for replacing our two-level deck with a new deck and patio. Although it took a while to get on their schedule, they showed up when they said that they would, worked hard and efficiently, and the deck and patio are both of excellent quality. My one caution is to make sure that everything that you want is written in the contract in detail since verbal communication can be misconstrued and anything left out of the contract will be at extra cost. I heartily recommend this company.

Really positive experience working with Custom Works. They were extremely helpful throughout the process of getting permits, working with the HOA, county, etc. The work itself was great, and our deck looks awesome. Great craftsmanship, and worked quickly. Price was as good as or better than the other quotes we got. Would recommend them. for sure.

Custom Works built a new 16x12 deck on the second floor of my home back in February of 2023. I am extremely happy with the quality of the work, not to mention they gave me a great price. Couldnâ t be more pleased with the end result.

I would definitely recommend Custom Works for decks and patios. They did both projects for us and the craftmanship was excellent and the final results were exactly what we wanted. They immediately addressed to our complete satisfaction a few issues that were identifed after the work was completed. They were easy to work with and very professional. We had a great experience with Custom Works. They came out within two days of my call for an estimate and we had the figures within two more days. We were put on the schedule about one month from then. The workers that worked on our project were top notch, on time every day, communicated well and very personable. The deck looks great and we have gotten many compliments on it. With the warmer weather coming, I can envision many Happy Hours on the deck. Custom Works has my complete endorsement.

I contacted Custom Works Inc to have a deck and patio built. They were very professional and answered all the questions my wife and I had. They showed us various types of stones and composite deck materials. They build the decks and their team was excellent. After they were finish with the deck, another team came to build the patio, they were excellent as well. I would highly recommend them if you want a deck or patio. They are an example that other companies need to fo.llow. Their professionalism, and their customer service is UNMATCHED. We are so glad we went with them for our project.

Glen (owner Custom Works) strung me along and repeatedly deceived me. I decided on CW after reading the reviews. I am a Senior Citizen who saved for some time to replace a falling 2 nd story 1 st generation 13x44 composite deck with a new 2 nd one, 14x36 built by Custom Works. I endured a lot for the $36,175 job, 1) failed 10/24/2022, 1 st footer inspection, 2) Jimmy (James) perpetual antics, late arrivals, no shows with Niche (Glen s son) always ready with an excuse for him, 3) insufficient work, e.g., 100% of decking boards had shredded ends, 4) dented heat pump that now raddles from James careless demolition (2x4 hit it hard) of my old deck, 3) bent backwards/cracked existing flashing that trapped water under it toward the ledger board, 5) non-repair (wood surrounding) of my outside exhaust fan, exposing it to the elements, 6) men broke my five foot round table that sits six and refuse to fix it. Now, I have a deck I cannot enjoy because I do not have a table. After repeatedly asking Glen to come see the final work with me present, he came and after inspecting the boards, obviously cut with a dull blade, he said I could run a key across all of them to remove the shavings, my reply, not after paying you $36, 175. He stated he would have James and the guys return immediately to fix the issues before I left on a 30- day holiday vacation. I stressed to Glen and James I did not need to be present. Returned home 01/06/2023, and was furious to find nothing (rework) had been done. Another of James lies. Glen told me James told me they would wait until I returned. As for my broken table, his son told me they are not responsible for which I replied that is not acceptable. They came over on three occasions before I signed the contract and they never once said I should move it, in writing (contact) or verbally. Glen said James stated he told me if they moved it would break. Another lie. I told Glen to accompany them back to my house so we I could confront James. Did not think James would lie to my face. He did, looking away as he stated remember, I told you if we moved it, it would break, at which time I replied, James you re a liar, you were nowhere around when your guys moved the table. On the last (rework) visit Glen told me to my face that he would talk to his man and see what he could do to fix my table. I waited two months, sent another email 02/11/2023, and his reply, my guy said you live too far and your job is too small for him to come out. i.e., t Glen strung me along knowing he would never see me again and that I would drop it. He had no intention of honoring his word. I know where I went wrong, I am too nice and too trusting. I delayed the steps three weeks to get estimates to replace my brick patio, Glen was one, but was too expensive. James pleaded with me the delay would mean they do not get paid and have bills. I fell for it, hook line and sinker and paid in full, given up my right to negotiate still thinking the owner, Glen was a man of his word. WRONG! I feed the men and sent them away with snacks. What I cannot endure is constant lies. I was always told if you0 break something you fix or pay for it. Not with Custom Works, not in my case. I truly believe if I were a man, I would not have been treated like this. I am sure Glen will not like the truth and will try to belittle me, but I have proof to corroborate my review, pictures, E-mails, and text messages and will share them with the BBB. UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!
