Custom Works was a wonderful company to work with. Our neighbor told us how great they were so we hired them for a deck and a patio. Both the patio and the deck are beautiful and they were built so fast. The crew for the deck and the crew for the patio were both very professional. I would certainly hire them again.

Overall a very pleasant experience however I would recommend ensuring communication is thorough. Still waiting on a few items such as HOA documentation and other minor but inconsistent elements needing attention.

We hired this company to replace our deck last year after storm damage. Glen was great to work with by listening to what we wanted and offering great suggestions. The quality of work was outstanding and the crew was very professional. Recently, one of the installed lights quit working. I called Glen to ask what I needed to do, and he said he would take care of it. Two days later, the owner of the company was on my deck installing a new light at no charge, over a year after the original work was performed! I cannot recommend this company enough. The customer service, quality and value are outstanding!

Although my project was scheduled during the busiest deck building season, the owner worked closely with me to keep my required date in the forefront and not only met my date but was able to fit me in earlier than promised. The deck was completed in 2 1/2 days and it was well built and gorgeous. I have received so many compliments from my neighbors on its custom design. Exceeded my expectation! I highly recommend this builder!

I hired the company to build a deck. I was told that the deck would be completed in three days and it was completed in 2 ½ days. We are very pleased with the results. All work was done in a professional manner. The owner and the project manager were very respectful and easy to work with. Their work crew came in and took care of business. We are getting a lot of compliments on the deck from our neighbors. I personally would recommend this company to friends and neighbors.

WORK: New 10' x 12' deck with railing and 3 steps to yard. I am very happy with the result. Keith arrived as expected to dig the footers. We discussed pouring concrete at low temps and he kept the holes from freezing with insulation. The county inspector was impressed. Next day he provided pre-cast concrete plugs – a good solution. Keith & Craig worked full-time for 3 days on a simple but quality job with attention to detail. The only (minor) negative was in the timing. I contracted with owner Glenn W. on Nov. 8 and he said that he thought it would be completed before Christmas. Later, when he said he couldn’t start until Christmas week, I asked to postpone to January. He said it was due to weather but I don’t know.

Glen was professional, personable, and did an excellent job of providing suggestions on the best solutions for our patio and yard. Glen communicated effectively with me to schedule the initial appointment and then followed up the day of to let me know when he was on his way. Glen took time to listen to what my husband and I wanted and gave excellent suggestions on how to meet our requests and make the installation both functional and beautiful. The work the team did was excellent and the patio and yard look wonderful. We believe that the patio came out so beautiful because we took Glen's advice with regard to size, shape of the patio and color of the pavers and border. The Custom Works crew scheduled to complete the work arrived on the date and time as scheduled. The members of the crew were polite and hard working. The work was completed on time and on budget. The result were exceptional and I would highly recommend Glen and his team to anyone who asks.

I was very impressed with the quality of the build. The willingness to perform the job in a timely manner during a really busy season was most appreciated especially since the previous deck had already been torn down.
