 + -1 moreChris Hale came out to see what I needed and gave me an estimate. Everything went fine but I was told if it sounds to good to be true it probably is; but this was the exception because they totally delivered. They arrived promptly, the estimate was exactly what I was charged, and I am totally satisfied with the work that was completed. They also had to fix a botched job that was done by someone else and explained everything to me. Great people, and I definitely recommend Hammond Electric Co. Inc.. and I will use them in the future when needed.
Description of Work: Electrical outlets, smoke detector, ceiling fan, and ceiling light.

 + -1 moreThe service person arrived sooner than we anticipated and did an excellent job at diagnosing and providing the needed repairs to fix the problems.
Description of Work: Looking at whether a GFI circuit breaker in the panel box was bad. Also, the outdoor electrical outlet for our pool.

 + -1 moreGenerator was delivered but took 1 week later to hookup to new electric booster panel. Another week for Propane hookup and inspection. Another week for final hookup and transfer. All in all, 3 weeks from delivery to final install. Supposed to return in 3 months for free oil change.
Description of Work: Whole home Generac 14KW generator install.

 + -1 moreI had gathered information on generators before I began calling vendors. I contacted several and was not happy with the timeliness of responses or the information provided. My propane supplier recommended Hammond Electric. The information that Chris Hale from Hammond provided was consistent with my research. The price was competitive and included a 5-year warranty on the generator including travel time, mileage, parts and labor plus the company offers a routine maintenance service. I placed the order in March and specified a June installation. All the work was performed on time and in a very professional manner. The electrical hookups were snaked through existing ceiling lights to eliminate the need to cut holes.
Description of Work: Installed 12KW propane generator and transfer switch with battery charger, exercise clock, and 24 circuit generator sub panel. Chris Hale, company VP, came out to my house, reviewed my electrical requirements and recommended two propane generators with the capacity to meet my needs. He went over the pros and cons of both and submitted two bids. The company installed the generator I selected and brought in the manufacturer to do the initial startup and to ensure that the generator was performing properly. Company required three payments: 20% on order placement, 60% once the generator was on site and the electrical installation complete and 20% following startup. All work was performed on schedule.
