A few weeks later, another piece popped out. I tried to call the company several times and got no response. I wrote a letter to the President of Weather-Seal and got a nasty letter from the President of the company telling me I was wrong. I spoke with him and told him I would let others know this is the way they treat their customers and he hung up on me very angry. Fortunately, my son-in-law fixed the problem, but I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. They have no idea what the phrase "customer service" means.
Description of Work: One piece of my vinyl railing popped out. They came out and fixed the problem because if dirt and water get in there, the railing could become unbolted.

FIRST OF ALL WE ARE NOT HANDYMEN. WE ARE A GENERAL CONTRACTOR AND HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR 22 YEARS WITHOUT ANY COMPLAINTS. PLEASE REFER TO THE MD HOME IMPROVEMENT COMM. AND THE BBB. ON 5-8-06, WE COMPLETED THE INSTALLATION OF VINYL RAILINGS FOR THE MEMBER. A COUPLE OF DAYS LATE,R HE CALLED THE OFFICE AND SAID THAT ONE BOTTOM PIECE OF A POST TRIM HAD POPPED LOOSE. WE TOLD HIM WE WOULD HAVE SOMEONE FROM PRODUCTION CALL IN ORDER TO SEND A PERSON TO TAKE CARE OF THE SITUATION. THE PROBLEM WAS RESOLVED WITHIN 1 WEEK. APPX. 6 WEEKS LATER, HE CALLED AGAIN TO SAY ANOTHER PIECE HAD COME LOOSE. RAUL MUNOZ (PRESIDENT) PERSONALLY SPOKE TO HIM AND TOLD HIM THAT MISS KIM FOR PRODUCTION WOULD CALL HIM TO SET A SERVICE CALL. WHEN MISS KIM CALLED HIM, HE TOLD HER THAT EVERYTHING HAD BEEN TAKEN CARE OF. AT THAT TIME SHE CALLED THE OFFICE BACK QUITE CONFUSED, AS WE ALL WERE. APPX. 10 DAYS LATER HE CALLED THE OFFICE AND WITH A VERY NASTY ATTITUDE TOLD THE OFFICE MANAGER, MISS SHANNON, THAT HE HAD CALLED AND LEFT SEVERAL MESSAGES AND NO ONE WAS CALLING HIM BACK, AND HE WAS GOING TO COMPLAIN IF WE DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. RAUL MUNOZ SPOKE WITH HIM THAT SAME DAY TO REMIND HIM OF THE CONVERSATION WITH MISS KIM, WHERE HE TOLD HER EVERYTHING WAS TAKEN CARE OF. THE MEMBER SAID HE THOUGHT SHE WAS REFERRING TO THE FIRST PROBLEM. WHAT KIND OF EXCUSE IS THAT! I TOLD HIM HE NEEDED TO CALL THE OFFICE AND APOLOGIZE TO MISS SHANNON AND WE WOULD TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM. HE DIDN'T DO THAT.
