+ -1 moreIt went extremely well. The technician, Soh Rad, was extremely professional. He was punctual and went out of his way to explain everything he found and was did to fix the issues. He also helped me with better organizing and arranging all the connections and wires to make it easier for me to manage in the future. I would definitely recommend their service to others and am considering buying my new computer through them, so they can handle the set up and transfer all my data to the new computer.
Description of Work: An overall review of my computer to determine what was causeing operational issues. Clean up any extraneous programs and review the security to ensure it was sufficient.

+ -1 moreI gave the tech a list of the BSOD error messages. He clicked around a few times, and after about 45 minutes, the device worked just kicked in. This was not unusual. I just needed the device to work faster than by trial and error over 45 minutes. The tech left after charging me $25 for the service call and $99 for the first hour of work (actually only 45 minutes). I then got my courage together, reinstalled the Windows updates, contacted McAfee for help to reinstall the VSAN update, and after googling my way into finding that the BSOD error messages indicated that there was a problem with the drivers, downloaded a whole bunch of drivers. Now the device works just fine when I plug it in.
Description of Work: Windows7 and McAfee did automatic update downloads simultaneously, and the result deleted my ability to use my AT&T Mercury USB connect to get to the internet. In fact, whenever I attached the device, I got the BSOD, the computer reboots, and then it works after waiting a bit longer. I needed help getting my computer to recognize the USB device to connect right away, avoiding the BSOD.

+ -1 moreOverall the service call went very well. Same-day service wasn't available at short notice, but G.P arrived right on time next day. He solved the network problem, upgraded 2 of 3 computers, and even took the time to do some training on unfamiliar processes. We were very pleased. The one minor glitch was that he forgot to call back about availability of memory upgrade for a laptop, but it's working fine anyway, and I myself didn't follow up either. Note that neither Yellow Pages nor business cards show an email address.
Description of Work: We needed some fine-tuning of our wireless network, plus upgrades to memory for 3 computers. While the rep was there, we also purchased a large screen monitor for one of the PCs -- I mentioned that I might want one, and G.P had it in his vehicle -- convenient.
