Description of Work: originally the job was to resurface a section of wood flooring; a gentleman showed up and measured the section and I expected to get a call to schedule the job. After the gentleman left, I got a call from the supervisor saying that it did not make sense to do only a section and that it made more sense to do the whole 1st level of my home. I told him I was on a budget and perhaps it makes more sense to do an install on a bedroom so the job was changed to an install. I was told they needed to come back to measure the room but the company never followed up to schedule it. Now they are making excuses and insinuating that it is my fault they did not do what they had committed to do.

Description of Work: Engineered hardwood flooring in the master bedroom, and fixed the transition to the bedroom flooring which had deteriorating brick from a previous exterior wall. Job well done!

Description of Work: They were accommodating, timely and accomplished my only complaint is the trash and debris scattered about in the trees left over night interim to the completion of the job. All was cleared in the end and I would use the again

Description of Work: Removed my old ceramic tile floor and installed a new travertine one. Replaced my vanity, recessed medicine cabinet, toilet, and towel bars. Painted. Added an electrical outlet. |I provided the fixtures, tile, paint. | |It took a day for demolition, a day for the tile work, a day for painting, and a day to install the fixtures. | |The tradesmen were on time and courteous, and proactive, addressing issues that I had not considered. Jose took it upon himself to solve a problem with my vanity installation by adding a part to raise the height of the legs to sccomodate a travertine base. Work was done on consecutive days with no delays. | |The quality of the work was good and the the bathroom looks terrific! I am very pleased with Chevy Chase Remodeling!

Description of Work: The contractor installed floors in our town home on the living/dining room floor and two sets of stairs approximately 15 steps on each stair case. The contractors worked all day with the exception of a lunch break. They did a great job.

Description of Work: They reconfigured walls, added bulkheads to contain new wiring, totally remodeling the kitchen and two bathrooms. Painted entire condo, added 2 closets, carpeted 3 bedrooms, added new doors, levers, etc. Completely updated the condo into the 21st century! It looks fabulous and should sell very quickly. Steve was really so responsive to all requests for everything, including my requests for changes.He was delightful to work with: totally professional, prompt....actually no complaints at all with his work ethic. Would love to work with him again! His wife-secretary-was equally professional, cheerful, courteous, and helpful when needed.

Description of Work: Had scheduled them to come out to do an estimate. They said they couldn’t make it. They did not show up and they did not call me to notify me.

Description of Work: I had a bathroom re-tiled. The project entailed removal of existing floor and installation of new tile. The project was an Angie Deal. | |The actual project went very well. The workers showed up on time, did an excellent job with the installation and cleaned up after the job. | |The only issue was the added cost of incidentals (such as removal and reinstallation of toilet) that I was unaware of when I purchased the deal. These items should have been disclosed upfront.

Description of Work: They came over to inspect my roof to provide a bid if it needed replacing. Instead they found out why it was leaking and pronounced it in good shape, overall. They found a couple issues that were causing the leak, called me while there and fixed it on the spot!

Description of Work: Steven Depollar remodeled my kitchen. The entire experience from beginning to end was handled very professionally. They installed new kitchen cabinets, Silestone countertops, ceramic tile backsplash, and new appliances. The appliances were installed into custom built cabinetry. They installed new recessed and under counter lighting, painted and custom trimmed all finishes.
