Dill Cabinetry

From beginning to end, the project went exactly as Mr. Dill told me it would. After working up some drawings and making several suggestions for design improvements over my original idea, the installation was done over a four-day period. Tom was meticulous in his work; in fact, I think the bookcase is perfect! I would definitely use Tom again.

The firm has had the pleasure of working with Thomas Dill of Dill Cabinetry since 2016. Mr. Dill is a visionary and has created and installed stunning pieces of furniture for the firm. We love our custom book shelves, reading nook and mudroom cubbies. Mr. Dill was professional, punctual and detail oriented. His designs were just what we were looking for. We are extremely pleased with his work, especially his attention to detail. Everyone that has visited has commented on how great the pieces look.

Tom is fantastic. His work is flawless, he's professional and courteous, and his considerable experience provides the added benefit of excellent design recommendations. He is also very willing to serve as an intermediary with suppliers if necessary. We highly recommend him, but hope you don't hire him so that he's never too busy to help us with our projects!

Tom Dill is a true craftsman. He was able to take my ideas and advise me the best way to make them happen. He came up with several options that improved the entire project. My kitchen is beautiful and reflects me and my family.

Stand was built according to instructions/specs, and the project was finished on time at what I considered to be a very reasonable price.

Our cabinets are American Woodmark and the new doors were only marketed through Home Depot. What a joke that was. Home Depot was totally non-responsive but thanks to Tom Dill of Dill Cabinetry we finally received all of our doors. His perseverance was the only thing that finally won the day. When work was completed on each day, the kitchen was clean up so we could continue with evening food prep. My husband and I removed the old back splash and what a mess we made of the wall. Tom was able to make the wall presentable and ready for tiling. I think Tom's "can-do" attitude and complete professionalism made the whole experience a pleasure. We just love the finished product. We also used Dill Cabinetry for work in our Condo in Ocean City, MD. They built a custom entertainment center and then milled out kitchen cabinet doors to match the doors on the entertainment center. They opened up part of a wall between the kitchen and living area. the area flows a bit more as one area and the matching doors made the look complete.

I was not available when the work was being done. Mr. Dill kept me informed weekly by sending me pictures and details of what was accomplished for the week by email. As he proceeded with the remoldeling he would come across problems that needed repaired and he would repair them himself if he could. He always answered my calls and was always available to answer any of my questions. The home was built by my grandfather and father and Mr. Dill was thoughtful enough to make a shadow box with the original kitchen wall covering and pictures of my mother, father and grandfather. This was unexpected and this endearing gesture among others made me realize not only was Tom professional but very caring man.

It was refreshing to employ a real professional on our 1932 English Country style house. He's great!

Tom Dill returned my initial call right away and scheduled an appointment for an estimate quickly. Even though I live far from his business, he was always on time for the appointments we scheduled. It made me think that he really values my time as much as his own - true customer service. Tom listened to my needs and was willing to adapt the design for the TV cabinet to fit the space. The process was easy because he made suggestions for the wood and the stain that complemented other pieces already in my home. I really like the TV cabinet and it is perfect for the space. The repair to the step was amazing. I appreciate his attention to detail. The style matches well and the wood grain is going in the same direction. The only reason you can tell the step was replaced is because the finish is perfect compared to the others.

The furniture is extremely well-built and sturdy. It survived a move from DC to Florida, and then another move inside Florida. There is no damage and it looks perfect. The wood has aged over the years and has darkened, but it looks even more luxurious now. I am getting another custom filing cabinet for my home office, and I wanted to write this review in appreciation of what Tom has done. It was perfect for me.

He was reasonable priced and has really good vales. He was on time, cleaned up after himself, and just an overall good person to work with. I could not think enough good things to stay about his work ethic and character.
