Andrew arrived on time and was very professional and eager to assist during the proposal and estimate process. He is a great first impression of the company. He was able to generate a typed up proposal immediately which allowed for us to know what the possible charges would be before he left. He was patient and willing to review the task at hand and discuss any questions we had about the process moving forward. The guys arrived on time to do the work and were able to complete it all in one day. Craig was great to work with although he did not stay on site the entire day and left the other guys to complete the job. The 2 gentlemen who remained at the house were very diligent and hard working. They thought they would be finished between 5:30pm and 6:00pm when we asked but did not leave until about 7pm. Probably our fault, but we should have clarified the working hours before the work began just to ensure we were all on the same page so we knew when they would be finished for the day and cleaned up. This was not too much of a problem but did not allow them much time to focus on the clean up before they left whereas they seemed rushed. They left behind a couple paint patches in the grass and a few paint marks on the porch. They also had a tough time reinstalling the closet door that they had to bring down to fix a drywall hole. However, the next day I dropped Andrew an email stating a couple issues I had and we scheduled a time for them to come back out to fix up these small areas at my convenience. They did great when they came back out and their attitude remained positive. Overall the experience was a positive one. Accidents do happen whereas no one is perfect yet I do trust that if something is to go in a way that you do not like, Beautiful Home Services will fix it. That's all you can ask for! Thanks for the help and the positive experience! We will be using them again in the future!

Terrible. The workmanship is horrible, they clearly do not care about the customer. The first crew showed up and we reviewed the job - an hour later I receive a phone call saying the foreman had a family emergency and had to leave. My wife asked him what it was and he said "Huh?" If they needed to reschedule they should have said so instead of lying about it. So the next day we go through everything and work starts. The workers ignored what the contract said and patched over the recessed lighting that was supposed to have been removed. The quality of the patches is horrible, you can see where all of the patches were done and painted over and in a lot of cases not primed first. They did not sand anywhere near the amount they should have to make things smooth. This crew fumbled about for 5 days and as we kept finding things wrong they switched the crew on us. The new crew indicated that the first crew had done a lot wrong and they tried to fix it. They started with a ton of sanding with an angle grinder to remove the (way too much) extra joint compound. This took literally ALL DAY and generated dust ALL over the house even in areas not part of the job. I now have to clean my vents because there was so much dust. These people were in my house off and on for 4 more weeks. I don't think we're too picky but we kept finding things wrong - drip marks all over the place, spots they did not paint, spots where you could see the patches, spots where they used the wrong color, etc. Their operations guy Craig showed up only on the day we switched to crew #2, after that we never saw him. Some emails back and forth and that's about it. The end result is that it is not finished and I need to get another company to quote me for fixing the ceiling and the areas on the walls that are still not right. Needless to say, I cannot recommend this company. Keep in mind also that their workers are not employees, so you will get the lowest rung painters in your house, some of whom could be illegal aliens. Obviously knowing this I would have never hired them. This company wants to blame me, the customer, because they did 200 man hours of work but the job is not finished and the ceiling looks terrible. The walls mostly look ok, but there are spots that still don't look good. One in particular that Andrew and I discussed for a few minutes on the day of the quote, we know was bad drywalling by the builder but I wanted it fixed and although they did spend several hours on it, the area still does not look good. My advice, stay away from these guys. I only joined Angie's List to post this review and to find a reputable contractor to fix what this company could not get right. Can you imagine it? I just had a company in my home for over a month and now I need to hire another one! Over 1 month to paint ~1200 square feet.

The team that did the drywall repair and indoor painting was excellent. You couldn't even tell that the repair had been made--it blended seamlessly with the rest of the interior. The exterior painting/deck sealing team also did a great job, but did not clean the area well when they were done. However, with one call to Andrew (their head of sales) the issue was solved. They returned within the week and cleaned up beautifully. All of their workmen were very pleasant. I would definitely use their services again.

I have a contract with them to do the painting but I haven't used them yet. I have been delayed in getting the painting started. They were responsive at coming out for the estimate.

They showed up on time and were real responsive. Their professionalism was excellent.

These guys are great. Highly recommend!! Good price, excellent, skilled workers, highly responsive, total commitment to service and customer satisfaction. Their website gives the impression that painting is the main thing they do. And maybe it is. But their handyman/carpenter/tile guy was fantastic. I'd definitely use them again.

Beautiful Home Services lived up to their name and gave us a beautiful home! They were professional, helpful, and very understanding of our needs. Their attention to detail is phenomenal and very much appreciated. They even remade some decorative "exposed beam" trim that had rotted in a few places. We are more than satisfied with the job and have decided to hire Beautiful Home Services to paint the interior of our home as well.

Our experience with them was good. The guy who came out to get the work done did a really nice job and we ended up expanding the project after starting it. There was a leak in the roof which had to be fixed. They modified their schedule to fix the leak first and then came back to finish the rest of the work which was nice. They were able to solve some of the interruptions that came up. We didn't get to talk with the business head of the company as much as we wanted to and hence there were some communication issues which were handled later on. They were fantastic when it came to their punctuality and they were very professional.

This company is very professional. The workers were punctual and courteous. I would call upon them again for any painting projects.

When I called for an estimate, Mr. Blate, one of the owners, came over and looked at the walls and explained the need for different finishes and qualities of paint. They use high end Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams paints (which is included in the price). He explained that they generally do the paint work in a few days and then people have them come and do touch ups. It took about two weeks for his guys to come in and start painting. I was in no rush, since I hadn't moved in yet. When his workers came in and did the work, it looked like they were half done. I called them again and they came again and did some more. In total, they must have come 5 times (as the foreman complained to me when he last came to fix up splatters and paint areas he'd missed). Yet, the first several times there were areas that weren't done well (uneven edges, areas not painted). There were also plenty of fixtures with paint on them, and paint splatters. It looks like they don't use tape nor do they remove wall plates, bathroom mirrors, etc. (the way we amateurs do). I wouldn't mind if they were good enough to not get paint on my surfaces, but they did, and I'm still finding new areas with paint splatters. Most of the times they came were to fix areas they'd forgotten to paint, sand down paint bubbles and remove paint from objects. After several times, I stopped calling them and just started removing paint splatters myself. Even a month later, though, I discover more paint splatters. I've removed paint from carpets that touch the baseboards, paint drips from bathroom tiles and paint splatters on my wood floors. I've got bathroom ceiling paint on my shower doors, red paint splatters on my beige walls and paint on my fire alarm and sprinklers (all of which say do not paint). To their credit, the people running the company were very nice about coming back (even if the foreman wasn't). They were always happy to fix things up. Nonetheless, given the amount of money I had to spend, I'm disappointed I had to find each splatter for them (meaning that I'd always miss some and find them later) instead of their avoiding splatters by laying down drop cloths and putting up tape. I can only guess that they do it to save their own time. Also to their credit, they did a good job on some of the harder surfaces they were supposed to paint, with smooth doors and minimal drips on the trim.

We were impressed by the fair price. We also appreciate that they were prompt and that they came prepared by sending a large crew to do the work. They had trouble following directions, for example, covering a fairly new wall fixture hole. We also noticed that they put the crown siding wrong. What they did to make things right was pleasing to us. They came back and corrected the details we noticed they did wrong. It seemed that they could have saved some time by paying attention to the details and instructions that were given. Overall, they did a nice job and will use them again in the future.

I was very pleased with their work. When Andrew, one of the co-owners, came out to do the estimate he was very professional. He was able to provide the estimate at the meeting, which was nice because I did not have to wait for them to get back to me. The estimate was very good. Dealing with them throughout the estimate was very easy. The quality of the work is excellent. It is an older home so there were quite a few things that needed to be done. I am incredibly pleased with the quality of the painting work. They also finished the garage for me, which included some sheet rock work. I will probably call them back in the future.

These guys really know the construction business and could answer all my questions when others couldn?t. I had several change requests, mid-job, and their prices were reasonable throughout. They made great aesthetic suggestions that resulted in a top quality finished product. One special strength of theirs is the ease of communicating: they wanted to know what I wanted, and they were determined to do it right. I?d use them again in an instant, and would recommend them to friends.

Beautiful Home Services did an amazing job with the painting and carpentry work we hired them to do. They were fast, efficient, hardworking, and, most importantly, did great work. Andrew came out very quickly to give us the original estimate, and was even willing to come back later on to help with some paint selection issues we were having. Craig came by several times to make sure everything was going well, and was great in helping us figure out what we wanted to do with the handrail and banister. Rudy and his crew did a fantastic job painting, and we were really happy with Rudy's work on the banister. (We almost didn't want to mention Rudy by name so we could keep him to ourselves, but he definitely deserves the recognition!) We have worked with a lot of different home improvement companies in the past, but none can even compare with these guys. They did a great job and were wonderful to work with. We have lots more home improvement projects we are considering doing in our new house, and we will definitely be contacting them again!

Painters arrived on time and finished on time. All of the cracks in the wall and the re-caulking in the showers/tub were repaired beautifully.

They were very competent and professional. Stood by their work. The prices were good. They were reliable. They did a very good on the drywall.

I think they are an outstanding company. They were here when they said they would be here. Their quality of work was just excellent, and I do think that their prices were fair.

They are very business like. They responded very quickly when I pointed out that some of the work that they did was not done the way they said they were going to it. They did rectify the problem cheerfully. There was no problem about that at all. I thought they were a little bit high, but because of the good recommendations, we chose them.

The workmen were excellent. They arrived on time and worked a full day. My only complaint has to do with management. The communication between the managers and the workers seem non-existent. I talked to one manager about certain priming and he said it would done. On the last day of the job, I asked the foreman, and he had never heard of it. The management said they would come the day after the job was done to pick up the trash. They finally showed up a week later, and still did not take everything.

It went very well. The salesman was helpful and not pushy. Initially, we were told that it would take 7 days to complete the job, but on the first day of work, the crew chief told us it would take 4-5 days to complete. The crew was efficient and respectful. They arrived on time each morning and cleaned up the area the best they could each evening. The job only took 3.5 days to complete. The only minor complaint is that they forgot to replace the window locks and a few of the electrical outlet plates. Overall, we are very pleased with their work. We will be using them again.

Andrew promptly responded to our request for an estimate. Once we made the decision to use Beautiful Homes, Andrew brought his partner Craig over to walk him through the job. Gave us a start date of March 19th. Craig showed up promptly with his crew on the morning of the 19th. Roger was in charge of our job and he was very courteous and responded to all of our questions/requests promptly. The job turned out beautiful and we're very happy we chose Andrew and Craig to do this job.

I received estimates from three contractors. Andrew was the only contractor who saw my vision for the room, provided options, and made some very helpful suggestions. The work started on time and finished ahead of schedule. The crew was courteous and professional and worked hard to protect floors and furniture and keep the mess at a minimum. The crew paid much attention to detail as the work progressed and accommodated my preferences along the way. Clean up was great. The owners of the business were readily accessible by phone during the project and responded immediately to questions and concerns.

They showed up on time every day and did an excellent job the whole way through. The painters were very pleasant and they worked very quickly. It was a bit pricey, but their work was excellent and it was definitely worth it.

Andrew arrived promptly as scheduled, viewed the areas to be painted and then proceeded to write up an estimate. While he wrote the estimate I had an opportunity to review their business license, liability insurance policy and testimonials and photos of completed projects. Andrew's estimate was a little high, but we negotiated to what I thought was an excellent price. We scheduled a start date and I went to the paint store to pick colors. They have an arrangement with the paint store so I didn't have to pay for the samples. Contractors arrived on the date schedules promptly. Work started and was completed in two days. They are extremely careful and pay attention to detail. They moved the furniture out of the rooms and then replaced it when finished. There was absolutely no mess to clean up. Excellent work!!
