Pop's Garage Doors

Everything about this repair went smoothly and perfectly. Our garage door came crashing down on Saturday evening, trapping our car inside. Luckily no one was hurt. I looked at some DIY websites, and all of them said not to attempt this repair myself. I submitted a quote request on Angie's List at 11 pm on Saturday. At 7 am Sunday morning, I received a call from Pop's. They gave me a very reasonable quote over the phone and said they could be out there that same morning. I told them to hold off until I received some more quotes. None of the other 4 companies I submitted a quote request to got back to me. I called one other, and they quoted me twice the price of what Pop's quoted. So I called back Pop's and they came out that same day, right on time, did the job quickly and professionally. They accepted payment of the exact price they quoted me. Now my garage door works better than it did before. Very easy, simple, professional and for a good price. I have a two car garage, 7 feet high, with a single torsion spring.

They came out took a look and said it could be replaced right now, they happened to have the door I wanted in the truck! Great since the door was worthless as is, gave me a price and started the work. The whole door, springs and track had to be replaced. As things progressed we found some rotted wood in the frame, they had to leave to get wood, came back later in the day and finished the job. Very quick work for a complete replacement job, would highly recommend them.

My garage door was extremely squeaky. I found Pops on Angie's List and hired them to service the garage door, They came on time and did nice work -- the garage door no longer squeaks.

POPS was quick to respond to my request for service. They came out the same morning and conducted the repair. When I spoke to the representative one the phone they said it would cost $150+. The repairman arrived and gave my wife a quote of $225, my wife rejected their service then they came back and said they would do it for $175. We agreed to their service and in the middle of the service the tech wanted to replace the wheels on the door for an additional $60 we refused this service. They were prompt and service was quick.

They show up and said she got a broken spring. He got to replace both. She agree and gave a price of 250 each. He can do the service now. She paid the 500. He rejected a card card, just write a check. He was there for 1.5 hrs.. She went and see how much it cost to fix a door like her. She research her prices and think she was over price on services.

They are very responsive. When I made a call for broken spring of my garage door they dispatched a technician within an hour. There was heavy traffic on their way but they came in timely manner. Nati Elmaliach explained the work scope and provide a quote. He guaranteed the material has 7 years warranty and 1 year labor warranty. It might not be the best price was the best in the town but they are professional and really fast. Thank you Pop's Garage Doors.

Pops garage realigned door, oiled the track, and explained how to maintain the track and door. They also have me a remote for free.

The door was replaced quickly, however they cut our phone line in the process. When I called Pop's to let them know, I didn't even get a token apology or call back about it. The door is fine, though they weren't willing to reprogram the keypad so it only opened from the inside switch. It was an ok job for the price, but I wouldn't recommend them for great service.

They saved me with something that could have been very dangerous! I procrastinated in getting the opener serviced and my door collapsed! So happy they were there and fix it on the spot. My hero's!

Very positive experience with Pop's. Easy to reach. Easy to schedule an appointment that worked for MY schedule. Service was prompt and thorough. Turns out our existing opener is just wearing out because it's not the strongest and has been lifting a very heavy door for a while. A new and stronger opener is in our future, but not yet. When the time comes, Pop's will be the one installing it. Price quoted for new installation seems very fair.

I didn’t get a response to my request submitted via Angie’s List. I had to contact them to set up the appointment. They arrived late; they did tune up my garage door, but charged me $200 over the $99 I paid for the promo.

Work was never done; could never establish communications. Left phone and email messages.

Work performed with no issue. Door opens and closes quietly. Angieslist deal plus $150 for spring replacement.

This was our 4th time using Pop's Garage Doors, and we are always extremely pleased with them. Calls are answered promptly. They are polite and professional. We have never had any difficulty in scheduling them for same day or next day service. Most recently our garage wheel came off track after hours on one of the coldest night's of the year and was hanging in the open position. I was really concerned about critters crawling into the garage, or even someone walking under it and it coming down on top of them. The technician came after hours, from an hour away, in the freezing cold, to be sure it was taken care of that night. That is outstanding service! Highly recommend them and will most certainly use them again.

He's attitude was not very good, he said that it will work and i asked for warranty but he, did not gave me any warranty and now I have the same problem with my garage door.

In and out in less than an hour. (Actual working time). The actual technician took an extended bathroom break.

Pop’s checked the functioning of our two garage doors, replaced a roller that was missing and lubricated all mechanisms. The problem is that one of the two doors worked before their visit and did NOT work when they finished. They agreed with me that it needs a new operator belt and promised to call back the next working day with information on how to find a belt for this 60 year old system. However, they never called back. With my own fiddling, I have the door working again. The service they provided was punctual, efficient, affordable and friendly. But their lack of follow-up disappointed me.

I called on Friday and mentioned I had a coupon. I scheduled service for the following Tuesday between 7-9am with "Pop" himself. When no one was at my home by 8:30 I called him and he said he would need to reschedule for the next day in which he did. He was rude from beginning to end. Making comments such as " people should not touch things they are not trained in repairing" " this was taking too long because my husband should not have touched it" " he could have done it in _ time, but people are always trying to repair". After completing the job he said he would not accept the coupon because I did not mention it prior, but as we all know you must mention when you call and I did. He tried to accuse me of buying the coupon while he was making the repair. Very rude...I felt threatened by his attitude and rudeness. I actually had to call my husband at work to stay on the phone with me due to his attitude. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! I SHOULD MENTION THE PRICE WENT FROM $450 to $189 to $175 to the coupon price.
