Description of Work: My wife and I were selling our Baltimore property from 7 hours away in NC and we were very nervous about any potential problems compounded by the distance. We contacted Alejandro Pacheco at Homelight.com and Kathy Stone was the first agent match provided. She impressed us from the moment we first met. She was our first interview and before we said goodbye we decided to cancel the others we had scheduled. Her knowledge and experience were evident when she came prepared with a booklet of information/history on our property as well as comparable properties both recently sold and those still on the market. There were some initial concerns and many questions and the suggestions from Kathy were spot on. Both Kathy and her excellent assistant, Erin, kept in constant contact with us, answering any and all questions and helped locate contractors for repairs. All their expertise helped produced an offer within 2 days of the initial posting. Even after the sale was final (August 31), the ladies continued their "commitment" by working the next 6 and a half months to help us obtain the “Non-resident sales tax” refund that had been withheld by the state of Maryland. (We finally received the check on March 21!) We are convinced we would not have prevailed if not for the persistence of Kathy and Erin.
