I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Atlantic Mechanical. Ron and Joel did not seem phased by anything our 67 year old house threw at them while replacing the hose bib. They were not bothered by the cat (who needed to supervise) or our 'guard dog' barking every time they walked by. They showed up about two and a half hours into a four hour window but I received a phone call letting me know that they were 20 minutes away. I would definitely hire them again!

Plumber arrived right on time and was professional, courteous and very competent. He got the job done carefully and quickly. I would not hesitate to hire again, except for the price. All three jobs were done in 80 minutes, yet we were told that each one would cost $125 in labor costs, for a total of $375. No matter how excellent this plumber was, an hourly rate of $281.25 seems excessive. This was on top of a service call fee of $79 and $75 in parts.

The men did excellent work to repair the faucet. I was impressed with their dedication to fix the problem. They were clean and neat. They gave me excellent ideas on what to do in the future to handle plumbing issues.

Atlantic contacted me promptly to schedule the work at my convenience within a 2 hour window. Plumber called in advance with ETA and was exactly on time. All very nice to deal with, job was fully explained since upgrade to frost-free was not a straight-in installation and required bending some pipe. Only glitch was the next day the faucet would not turn off, so plumber was back the next day to check it and found a small piece of solder inside the faucet pipe that had dislodged against the rubber ring, manufacturer's defect (thus the only B rating for the product but not Atlantic). Job is warrantied for 1 year.

When Matt, the serviceman inspected our current spigot, he assessed that it did not need to be replaced, but only needed a slight adjustment to the handle. He fixed that for me at no charge! I had him fix a dripping bathtub faucet which he did in a timely manner while still taking his time to carefully loosen the bolts so he would not strip them or break a pipe. The faucet was an original with the house and is 25 years old. Matt was extremely polite, honest and knowledgeable. I will definitely be calling Atlantic Mechanical for any future plumbing needs.

This was my first time using Angie's List. The technician from Atlantic Mechanical was very professional and courteous. He called me in advanced on the day of the appt on approximate time of arrival and ended being earlier which was fine with me. He assessed the issue and explained how he was going to fix the problem. He was mindful to wear protective shoe coverings when entering into the home and made sure the area of the pipe location in the basement was clean and professional when the job was completed. He informed me not to hesitate to contact the company if any issue arises with the work being completed. He assured me the problem was resolved. I purchased the $99.00 to replace leaky outdoor faucet but invested in the frost free hose upgrade for additional of $125.00 for total of $224.00. Very happy to see the issue is resolved.
