They did a good job, but they didn't finish everything in the one bathroom that they did and we called them back and they took care of it. I think they overlooked it at first; it was an all inside shower but there was tiles on the outside of the shower and they didn't redo that.

This was a great experience, unlike most that I've had with contractors in the past. From the very first assessment to completion, my contact with SED was professional and refreshing! The owner arrived, prepared to listen to my concerns as well as what I had hoped to complete, and thoroughly assessed the current problems with the bathroom. He was able to point out what wasn't done properly the first time and why I was having the problems. He understood my concerns to stick to a budget and offered great cost saving solutions, never trying to "up-sell"...but was also careful to maintain quality, which was very important to me. He brought professionalism, intelligence and expertise to what many contractors would consider a "small job", giving it the time and attention it deserved, from picking out the right tile for an "upscale/forward trend" look to making sure the job site was immaculate. Great attention to detail, meticulous work! I would recommend them to anyone looking for an outstanding experience!

Ken was on site at all times and worked side by side with a small crew who worked on a scaffolding system to reach the upper floors some 60 feet above the sidewalk. Given the close proximity to the street, SED agreed to do the work on a Saturday and Sunday when there is minimal traffic. Ken communicated the plan and clearly discussed process. The shutters were meticulously placed and mortised so they could be installed on the original iron hinges. I was impressed with the care taken to ensure that each detail was done correctly for our historic property. In the end the site and work areas were cleaned and free of debris. The end result made for a remarkable transformation. Overall we were highly pleased with the quality, professionalism and value we received from SED. We would not hesitate to hire them again for future projects.

SED came highly recommended to me to do the renovations and remodeling of major rooms in my home. I worked with them to update my newly purchased three bedroom condo that hadn't been updated in many years. They were very professional in their presentation of time and cost estimates. I was pleased to have their help in picking out fixtures, materials and paints. SED restructured walls and ceilings so that every inch of space was both functional and beautiful and created three new beautiful bathrooms.

Overall it went smoothly and efficently. He came on time, worked a full day, and cleaned up after each afternoons work. We will recommend SED to our neighbors and family as they were a pleasure to deal with. We received excellent quality work, a competetive price, and the best service we have ever had from a subcontractor--that says it all.

It went exactly the way SED said it would go. They showed up on time everyday, communicated with us on every detail and deliverd the job on spec and on time.

This job started with a review and estimate of the time that might be involved. The biggest challenge would be that the missing moldings were not of the type sold at everyday Home Centers. Luke took a small piece as an example and went on an exhaustive search to find a match from specialty molding fabricators and lumber places. On the day planned to do the work, Luke arrived as always on time with all the necessary tools and ready to get to work. In hand he had the stock for my antique moldings perfectly milled to match the existing. He explained that he had searched all over and concluded that it could not be found pre-made. So he took it on himself and bought blank stock and the necessary router heads and milled up just enough from scratch to do the job. The match was superb! Had I gone to a mill to get the molding made it would have cost more than the entire job only for the materials.
