+ -1 moreThey did the work with as little disturbance to the surrounding areas as possible. The bricks and the mortar matched perfectly and they took their time to make sure the drainage would work reliably forever. We are very pleased by the work they do. Only criticism would be is that the workers will argue amongst themselves quite a bit but I think it is just banter between guys that know each other very well.
Description of Work: This is the 4th project we have had Mike and his team do for us and we would never use anyone else. They do HIGH quality work and Mike is the best. This project was to take down a portion of a retaining wall and add water drainage so the wall would stay strait in the future. Mike originally wanted to take down an additional area but I wanted to keep the price down so we compromised and while the astectics were not to Mike's standards we ended up with a repair that will last a lifetime at a reasonable price.

+ 1 moreThe workmanship was excellent. Mike Del Prete was an excellent person to with which to deal. He is a genuine good guy and made life much easier for us at a time when our house was in turmoil. I highly recommend his company for any masonry work. He has also repaired brick steps and reinstalled an outside railing in the cement of the front porch. Everything he did was excellent.
Description of Work: First let me explain the price. This work was paid for by our homeowners policy so I do not know the cost. Therefore the 0.00 answer of 0.00 to "how much did you spend". That aside, the job was to repair extensive damage done to our block foundation during the replacement of water pipes in our street. There were over fifteen cracks in the foundation. The work required taking out all shrubbery next to the house digging a trench five feet wide to the bottom of the foundation and cutting out all blocks that were damaged. The block was replaced, then a waterproof coating was applied to the outside of the entire foundation. Thick sheets of Styrofoam were placed on the outside walls to keep the dirt from damaging the coating when the trenches were refilled. The inside of the walls were painted with a good quality paint. At the end the shrubbery was replaced with new plants, including top soil and mulch.
