Due to a small leak on the right side of my home I contacted (4) "highly rated" basement waterproofing companies to inspect the problem and offer solutions. The approach offered by Worldwide Waterproofing & Foundation Repair T/A Worldwide Concrete was the most comprehensive of the group and far more expensive than any of the other proposed solutions. I had an area in the corner of the foundation where a small amount of water would flow over the top of the poured foundation wall when the sump pump came on. I believe the issue stemmed from the sump pump discharging directly against the corner of the exterior foundation so I rerouted the sump pump discharge pipe to the rear of the home. Although this seemed to resolve the issue I wanted an expert to inspect the foundation and address any "current" concerns. Allan arrived within the agreed upon time frame and conducted a thorough inspection of the home. I explained that I believed the water issue was confined to the corner of the basement by the sump pump. Allan examined the area and agreed that the preliminary steps I had taken to stop the water entry were acceptable. I told Allen that I was unaware of any other issues and that the rest of the basement was dry. I informed Allan that I had installed new baseboard in the basement and we had new carpet installed about (6) months ago and no water entry issues were noted at that time. Upon entering another room, Allen pointed to a baseboard that was stained yellow and indicated that the discoloration was a clear sign of water damage. I explained to Allen that while staining the bifold closet door I inadvertently transferred some of the stain to the baseboard and that was the reason for the discoloration. He tested the area with a moisture detector, which indicated no evidence of moisture behind the wall. Allen continued with the inspection and located a foundation crack in the laundry room that was missed by another inspector from AAAction Waterproofing (see other review). After examining the exterior, Allen completed a proposal. Despite having one minor issue with water entry (that may have been resolved when I rerouted the sump pump discharge pipe) and one crack in the foundation laundry room; Allen suggested excavating the entire front foundation down to the footer (which would require removing all of the landscaping and demolishing/replacing the front porch), sealing the front wall with Tremco and 12 mil plastic, installing a 40' "subsoil drain" and "Hydrostatic Pressure Relief System", an external sump pump, etc. Despite no evidence of hydrostatic pressure concerns, the proposal offered a solution for several problems that did not currently exist. The other basement waterproofing companies that conducted inspections were surprised at the extreme nature of the proposed work. I believe that the suggestions for a minor water issue (that may have been resolved when the pipe was rerouted) was extreme and the cost of nearly $13,000.00 excessive based on the problem I was experiencing. While Allen did conduct a comprehensive inspection, my concern is that the proposal was focused more on profit and not a reasonable resolution to a small problem. While a company can always justify going beyond what is required, they should also factor in the cost/benefit to the consumer and realize that most people do not have $13,000 of discretionary money "just in case" a problem may occur in the future. It is important to note that I have been in the home for (25) years and no other water related issues have occurred. To date, the responses I have received from (4) highly rated Angie's List companies have been wildly different. One company advised that based on my email explanation of the problem it was most likely a land grading issue and they suggested contacting a landscaper or general contractor. They refused to come out and conduct an inspection. Other companies proposed excavating the front and applying a tar like substance and plastic membrane. The cost varied from $2800 to $13000. I am sure the truth is somewhere in the middle. Very frustrating to deal with contractors! UPDATE (5-18-2015) Contrary to Mr. Kaminski's response, waterproofing is not a complex process and I was never confused. In fact, during a brief internet search of the waterproofing "trade" it was characterized as a "low skill, high labor" business. Unless a homeowner has structural issues that require the services of an engineer, most can perform waterproofing as a DIY project. That is now my intention, after attempting to deal with these "reputable" companies. His assertion that he found "signs of seepage in [many] other places" is an outright lie. The only water penetration inside my basement was from the aforementioned sump pump discharge that had been addressed. I specifically told Mr. Kaminski that we had no other issues, no water penetration through the foundation walls, or on the floor. This was confirmed by another "highly rated" waterproofing company that completed a very thorough 2 hour inspection (review pending). I also explained that the water located in the corner storage area traveled down from the roof. That leak originated from a bad roofing/siding job by another contractor and had been repaired. No moisture was present in that area at the time of inspection. As previously mentioned, he mistook a stain transfer that occurred when I was finishing a bifold closet door for water penetration. He pointed to the stain on the baseboard and stated, "That is an obvious sign of a water issue." It was not. Mr. Kaminski located one crack behind the shower stall that was missed by one inspector, but found by another. Consumers should be very selective when working with this company. They seem to offer a solution in search of a problem. If you are willing to hand over $13,000.00 they will be more than willing to accept your hard earned money. Knowledge is power when dealing with this type of company so do your homework.

Response from Worldwide Waterproofing & Foundation Repair
Allan Kaminski Worldwide Waterproofing and Foundation Repair, Inc. Dear [Removed Member Name], Thank you for the very well written and detailed commentary. Most of it was very complementary. I was surprised on how you felt with the pricing review comments. One of the first thing we discussed and I always discuss is that with waterproofing, there usually is no clear simple answer. It is confusing to customers. That is why I take the time with customers to educate them in a manor so they can compare shop and make an educated decision. It is a balance between goals, expectations and budget. What we should do with every home to prevent any and all future and current leaks is unaffordable. So we first start with what problems are observed. In your case you fixed the problems you have observed and was the reason why you asked for a professional opinion. However, when I was asked to look further I was able to find cracks in the foundation and signs of seepage in many other places. Some of the problems other experts missed. Some were behind the shower and finished walls. Some were discovered from the outside. As we discussed, they appeared to be minor and intermittent. However, a house’s health is not unlike a humans health in that things get worse the older we get over time. The most common comment from customer is that this hasn’t happened in 20+ years. Like humans, it is the older houses that need more health care. I asked for your permission to quote a repair on all that we found and you said yes. I informed you that excavating the house from the outside is a better approach but a much more expensive repair. However, you would avoid the cost of demolishing the finished basement and bathroom. Although my bill would be smaller from me for an inside approach, I am uncertain how much you would save when you refinish the basement. Plus you would save on inside disruption. In addition this would be the only way to address the water coming over top your sill plate and foundation behind the front concrete steps. The steps would have to be removed to make a repair and the steps reinstalled. I would be happy to quote alternative approaches. I understood at this point in time you were just gathering information for what repairs you might expect in the future. I did admit that my customers always comment that my inspections are more thorough and scope of work more comprehensive. Although we are very competitive when comparing apples to apples, it rarely is apples to apples. We advise to fix all the problems observed. Also, we are more thorough inspectors. So sometimes we seam more expensive because we offer more. However, we are willing to do less and fit a customer’s budget. Just as long that customer understands the risks and benefits of what they did and did not purchase and we do repair a portion of what is needed. When we departed you said that you would talk to your wife and if you wanted to pursue a less expensive and less comprehensive scope of work, you would call me. I would still like to offer a second conciliation (no charge) to do that. My apologies if you felt I wasn’t responsive to gauge your budget. I do care about my customers very much. I try not to prejudge people. Sincerely, Allan Kaminski

They did a real good job! The garage foundation has been repaired, so we don't have to worry about it sliding off all the way now. And the new patio looks great! On the first day, they jackhammered the old concrete patio and the steps going to our front door. Also, they dug all the way to the bottom of the garage's foundation and then they dug up and formed our new patio as well. On the second day, they poured new concrete down for our patio, rebuilt our steps, and fixed the cinder block on our garage. They slid the cinder block back into place, underpinned it, and then made it so it wouldn't slide back out. On the third day, they stained our concrete a very nice brownish color. The fourth day was going to be for sealing the concrete; however, we got rain almost everyday for the next week and a half. They said it needs a minimal of 24 hours to dry before it can get wet or before we can walk on it just so it won't get ruined later on. It rained so much that they just couldn't do it for a week and a half. They came back out on a Saturday, which was the first day that they could, and finished it up. I have to say that they were very professional and very hardworking as they were doing this. They got alot done in a very short time. Our new patio is 120 square feet and our walkway was 40 square feet. That was alot of work right there that they got done quickly. I know the rain held things up, but I'm glad that they waited for the rain to stop, so they could get it done right. It looks perfect! The new patio is exactly what we imagined it would be and we couldn't be happier with it. We're also glad that they fixed the cinder block to our garage as well. They did a really good job and we couldn't be happier!
Description of Work: The foundation to one corner of our garage had shifted about six inches out. About have of the cinder block and it was just the top one. The set the cinder block back into place and underpinned it. They also redid our old beat up and nasty looking patio. They jackhammered the old patio up and poured down a newer, nicer and bigger patio area. The old patio was nothing but a pathway to our front door. That was it. This new patio really is a patio. Its a entire seating area now and they put a curved pathway going to it. We wanted the concrete stamped and stained as well. They gladly obliged and did everything that we asked them to do.

This job far exceeded our expectations. We had 2 of our neighbors refer us to Worldwide Waterproofing. Based on the quote, we did get a total of 3 estimates. Worldwide was the middle as far as the price, but the quality of the initial call and the estimator far exceeded the other companies. We were not felt pressured and were given a lot of options to offset cost. We decided to proceed with the full scope because we we were confident that the recommended work was going to solve our problem and provide us with a new beautiful porch. The job started right on schedule with supervision from start to finish. The waterproofing was quite a job as our home was deeper in the ground than I think the contractors anticipated but they did not complain and kept on working. They did find some large cracks in the wall, one of which needed to be repaired structurally and they gave us a great cost estimate for that at a discount since they were already excavated. The membrane put on the wall was done very professionally and our property was kept free of debris and tools were stacked neatly on site. Once they completed the coating to the foundation, they waited a few days for settlement and then installed a new front porch in stamped concrete. IT IS GORGEOUS! They truly blew us away with the final project. We waited a few months to really test out the waterproofing. We already had drain tile inside the basement with a sumppump. The walls were the problem and they completely fixed it. We left our drywall off for the last 4 months to test the wall with each rain. BONE DRY!!! We are so beyond pleased and could not have been more happy to hand over the final payment for a very large, well managed project. They are now working on a new porch for our neighbors. Our house is the talk of the street. Thanks to a great team!

stated that it could cost 150,000 dollars was more interested if I would be renting out the space. He stated that I could do the project myself, did some measurements, seemed amazed at the size of the crawlspace, and gave me his business, card and left. He stated that he would email me with an estimate in twenty four hours. I called the company who told me to call him. I left messages on his voice mail, with no response. his business card states worldwide waterproofing & foundation repair, inc. which does not appear on angies List. I did not get a written estimate as promised from this contractor. afraid to review due to unresponsiveness.

As the owner of Worldwide Waterproofing....please allow me to apologize for the unusual unresponsiveness of our salesperson and as well as his misunderstanding of your needs..Our area of expertise is in foundation waterproofing and repair. We have performed thousands of jobs over many years in the Metro area. Absolute customer satisfaction is a priority to our organization. Due to the extensive nature of your foundation repair needs a structural engineeringreport with specific protocol is indicated in order to provide lifetime warranted waterproofing and significant soils removal in the affected crawlspace. There is probable underpinning that is necessary as well as county permitting should you elect to proceed. This report will allow us to be more accurate in the costing of the job you are planning to undertake in the future. The sales person checked in the sales call and sent it to a higher tier service estimator due to the nature of the project. At the time this occurred there were administrative errors made and your estimate slipped through the cracks, as well as we had a change of staff in our engineering department. As a result of these issues(which have since been rectified via both policy and procedurally) We will gladly provide you a stamped structural engineer report with protocol for the crawlspace and basement waterproofing at our actual cost, for the inconvenience you experienced. Additionally, If you elect to proceed we shall offer you county permitting at no additional charge, as well as refund the report fee upon your acceptance of our proposed scope of work. I hope you will reconsider our organization and allow us to bid your project. We strive to perform and exceed expectations. I appreciate the opportunity to earn your business. I shall call you personally to go over any further questions or concerns and look forward to raising your level of satisfaction with my company and making things right.

My basement would leak, when it would rain, from where an exterior pipe entered the basement due to poor sealing. Ken came out to my home to review the damage, suggest a solution, and provide a quote. Ken was very helpful and answered my questions about warranties, described how the workers will try to save my bushes even when dug up by placing in water, and the timing before I signed the contract. I contacted the office to schedule the work to be performed. Two workers showed up on the day scheduled. They were late, but apologized and worked well while explaining what they were doing. A bush in my front yard was dug up to access the problem area. The workers had to come back the next day to leave time for a coating to dry. No problem. But I was concerned about my bush. I don?t live at this house so I wasn?t able to monitor exactly how the bush was left. The next morning, I noticed they left my bush just in the yard out of soil with no water (contrary to what Ken told me would happen). When the workers returned they finished the work and put the bush back and suggested I water it a lot over the next few days. Well, the bush is dead even after a lot of watering. I was disappointed what Ken noted would happen (bush will be in water) didn?t actually happen. I?m not so concerned over the bush itself, it was just disappointing to been told one thing during the sales consult and another thing happen during the actual work. When the workers left, I paid them via check and asked about when I will receive my warranty documentation. They said, as soon as the check has cleared they will mail the warranty. A few weeks went by (and my check cleared a few days after the work was done) and haven't received the warranty. I followed up with the office, the woman who answered my call took down my name and said they will have it in the mail shortly. Another few weeks go by. No warranty. I call the office several times over the next few weeks. Each time I am told they will put in the mail immediately. After five months have passed, I still did not have my warranty. UPDATE: Management followed up with me after this review and rectified the documentation situation. She was apologetic and wanted to change my perception of the company, which she did. She was very professional and FedEx'ed the warranty for the next day.

After interviewing several contractors and landscape companies, we chose Worldwide Concrete. The owner was honest about how long it would be before he could start the work. The price he quoted was the price we paid. His crew worked quickly and finished in the time he forecast and did a nice job cleaning up when they were done.

We hired Worldwide in May 2014 to waterproof my basement, which had some pretty bad leaks this summer, and damaged a lot of drywall and carpet, required it to be ripped out. I met with several other companies at my home prior to selecting Worldwide, including B-Dry and Valuedry. All of them told me how much better their methods were than the competitors, how they have better pipes and pumps and drainage systems etc, but they all offered basically the same solution which was a buried drain system with sumpwells and pumps to remove it. I went with worldwide as they were considerably less expensive than the other, larger companies by several thousand dollars. The job had a bit of a rough start, and I feel like there were some internal communication problems between their sales / management and workers. The first crew arrived and did not know that we had asbestos tile in our basement (we went over this with the salesperson) and hung around for about an hour before telling us that they can't do the job and left. I then went back and forth with their office via many many phone calls about getting the tiles removed. They initially said they would do it, and even gave me a quote to properly remove the tiles, but then backed out of that as well, telling me they weren't certified to handle it, which was a bit of a waste of time. We got a separate licensed abatement company to properly remove the tiles instead. After that was all done, worldwide came back and did their waterproofing install, which took a few days longer than they said it would due to truck problems and weather. I wasn't too happy about how they parked their truck directly on my back lawn, which messed up the lawn pretty bad. I'm not sure why that was necessary as I do have a driveway. After they were done, there were several problems with the final product that we had to bring them back to fix several times, such as a pipe install that was obstructing our only outdoor outlet next to my driveway, and some other small pipe routing problems. One of their pumps also did not initially work, even though I was told it was tested. They had to come back again time to fix that. After that, we did have to get them out 2 more times to tie up some additional small leaks in the the new piping, which they eventually did. The most important thing is that so far, my basement has been dry. Even after several very heavy rains, I haven't had anymore water on the floor. While the process was not the smoothest, the end result produced the results I was looking for after all.

The quality of the work that was performed was very good. The communication between the front office, the salesman, the crew foreman and the customer was awful. The salesman gave us a start date. No one showed up. A call to the front office produced a "I'll check on that and call you back". No call back. This same thing happened several times. The salesman told us one thing, the front office told us another. The foreman told us the crew would be back the next day, they arrived two or three days later. There was no phone call letting us know the crew would not be arriving. To summarize, the work that was done was just fine. Communication was horrible.

I got about 4 estimates on how to fix my basement water leaks. My issue had to do with a seam in the basement wall that was leaking. Most companies wanted to install an outrageously priced new drainage system along the inside of my basement wall which would have required my basement floor to be dug up and a new drain field, sump tank and sump pump to be installed. Worldwide realized this was not needed and excavated the dirt on the outside of the house and sealed the seams that were leaking. They then filled the hole and added some additional fill dirt to ensure the ground was properly graded away from the house. It has been over 6 months and we have had no issue. They provided a 10 year warranty on their work. Smart, reasonable approach from some reasonable folks! Get their opinion before you do your basement work!

Gary showed up on time to give an on-site estimate (and waited for me while I finished a call), walked me through what he thought should be done, and gave me an estimate on the spot. He also referred me to an engineer to get a second opinion on the extent of the work to be done. Didn't end up going with them for reasons other than his price and service, but would recommend trying them.

They also wanted $20,000 to waterproof one part of my basement and I thought that was ridiculous. I tried another basement waterproofing company and they did the whole 1,200 square foot basement for $7,500. I guess they were punctual and came on time. They seemed really aggressive too about pushing me to use them to waterproof the basement. They tried to talk over my head when explaining why the cost would be $20,000 and I did not like their business practices. They told me they could not put the $20,000 quote in writing and that I needed to do the job right then.

We have used this company in the past and have always been exceptionally happy. Our rental property recently started to take in water in several areas to the point that we could no longer "patch" the areas. We called Worldwide and spoke with Summer who is always a pleasure to speak with. She immediately knew who I was since I had built such a great relationship with them over the last few years. She set up with Mike to come out and look at the problem. I love that he is not a " Sales guy". He actually does a lot of the larger structural and commercial jobs. He took some measurements and talked with me over different options. He found a large crack outside and asked if he could some remove some drywall on the inside. To my surprise we had a HUGE, and I mean HUGE crack in the wall. He right away got in touch with the engineer to come out and look at. His advise was the same as what Mike prepped me for. Once the drywall was all removed that same night we had an even bigger surprise. We needed I Beams to stabilize the wall. While this was discouraging since it is a rental property I knew I was in good hands. The Engineer works for many waterproofing firms and when he left and shook my hand he said " You have the best in the business". I was so impressed. Anyway, long story short after a new french drain in the basement that works great and the beams, we also chose to replace the badly cracked sidewalks and rear patio and boy does it look beautiful. I am so beyond pleased with the quality of work this company performs and the Great office staff. I couldn't be more impressed with this honest company.
Description of Work: We had a rental property waterproofed and structurally repaired. This work included all new concrete outside around the house to slope away from the home.

It went quite well and they had a very reasonable price. The engineer thought we didn't need a more extensive work to the project than Worldwide had recommended and that it may cause damage to the house. Additionally they had a few delays for what I would think would be anticipated work related problems in the process.

It was pristine! I am always getting comments on it. They did a very good job, they were fast, professional, and gave me a very great rate. I was kind of nervous because I saw a huge concrete truck in front of my house, but they told me not to worry, that it was all going to workout.

My initial experience was positive. I received a quick response and quote from the company. After receiving 4 quotes from similar companies we decided to use worldwide because they were local and had done some work in the area. In addition, their reviews on angie's list were good. The installation was done in two days and the crew was great. Everything was as described. When the job was done, we still had some water in the walls that needed to drain and dry out. At the time i asked, "what should I do if the walls don't completely dry out?" and was told, to call the office and we'll set something up. At this point 2 months later there are two spots that still have not completely dried out. I have contacted worldwide a number of times by phone and email looking for a follow up visit with no response. In addition, they were supposed to come back and install a battery backup system with no response. Normally I would not care about the backup system because I could just hire someone else. However we have around a $150 credit with the company as a portion of the original job was not completed based on my request. Instead of a credit, they said they'll put it toward the backup system which would be fine, if they would come and install it!! When I have asked to return the $150 to my Credit Card so I can hire someone else, I have received no response. Lastly, I have not received any documentation on their advertised transferable warranty after three requests. It seems once I paid them, they moved onto something else. I would advise if you use worldwide to pay in installments, or withhold a portion of the final payment until you see the problem has been fixed. Otherwise, you may never hear back!!

They were very thorough in making sure they covered all of the options and let us know what we would get with each option. They made sure that we weren't just getting the leak solution but the entire area. The work was great! The work took about a week to complete which was earlier than they thought. They cleaned up very well - you wouldn't even think someone did any work. They did discover some other areas when they started and that they needed to do additional work. The only thing they didn't mention was the price the additional work was going to cost. I wasn't very happy that they didn't let me know a price but we were able to negotiate to a reasonable for the additional work.

Worldwide Waterproofing and Foundation Repair Inc. They were very respectful. It took them about three days to do the job. They're professional and courteous. The only negative was that they were short handed. But they got it together and made up for it.
Description of Work: They waterproofed the entire foundation of our house. They installed a french drain. They had to dig up the entire basement, around the perimeters of the walls.

We had some basement waterproofing done after Hurricane Sandy. Water was entering our basement through a low window near our driveway. The owner came and did an estimate within two days of the first phone call. He looked around, recommended what needed to be done, and then said we should hear back from the office in a few days. He estimated the work would take about 5 days. When the office called, we were offered a service date for that Friday morning, surprisingly! Promptly at 8:30am, a crew of about 6 guys showed up, and began working. Even more surprisingly, they finished the entire job by 3:00. The owner who we spoke with did not show up that day. The foreman had the details that he had written down from the initial visit, but some of the details of the job that he told us would be done, was not what the foreman or his crew did. We were told we would get a window well installed below the level of our driveway and a grate would go over it that could be driven over. This did not happen. Our window well is about 2 inches above ground and could be hit when backing into the driveway. It was documented that they would use some sealant that we had purchased and seal around our basement windows. When they completed the job, they took the sealant with them! It wasn't theirs! Overall, I'm satisfied with the work, as we haven't had problems with the repairs they did, but I did not like that plans that were discussed with us were not carried out by the crew. The owner never contacted us after the initial visit. Perhaps if he showed up to check on the jobs he books, these details would be carried out as they are described when we hand over our deposits.
Description of Work: Installment of a window well, sump pump in the basement, creation of a trench around the parameter of the basement to connect to the pump.

They arrived on time and began to work without having to bother the inside of the house. They had to bring in a backhoe since it was a more entailed dig than previously thought. No additional money. They installed the concrete piers alternately so as to not weaken the foundation as they worked. After one pier was fully cured then they would dig under the next 4 foot section and pour that pier. Doing this until all piers were installed. Then they graded and reseeded the disturbed areas. They then came back to fill in the cracks with hydraulic concrete and reparged and repainted all the walls.
Description of Work: Dug down under the footing and installed concrete piers across 2/3 of the back and 3/4 of the side of my house in order to shore up the walls.

I had water in one corner of my basement after decent rains over a period of about 8 months. I got one estimate right away when i noticed the leak and was taken back by the "sales pitch" and pressure and of course the cost of the repair. I decided to wait since I didn't know if it was a fluke or this was going to be a necessary expense. Over the course of the next few months I had one more reputable firm out as well as Worldwide. Hands down worldwide was the most impressive from the phone call to the office, to the rep ( Mike) who came out to the crew when the arrived. Mike was so knowledgeable and professional and far from a typical " sales" guy. He explained to me how water was getting in and why and the different options to fix it. He let me know the price was good for a year and spent about an hour educating me, not selling me. He also was the only one to find a significant crack behind my drywall, and one on the other side of the basement directly across from that one. His quote was a little higher to include the repair of the cracks but when I saw the size of them I was Shocked!!! He was thanking me for my time and was ready to leave when I said ' Where do I sign" ? I knew right then he was the one I wanted to use. I called some references they provided me and one woman even invited me to visit her home to see the work since it was a recent job. I was just so taken back. The office called and scheduled me right away to find out my scheduling availability and they were so polite. I received a confirmation call the day before letting me know my crew chief's name and time of arrival. They arrived just as proposed and were so friendly and worked so well together. They had to remove drywall to get to the cracks and even provided me a name of a handyman to replace the drywall. They did a fantastic job on the basement and we have had several rains since then and my basement in bone dry. I got a very nice thank you letter in the mail from them with my invoice and warranty paperwork. I have had 2 follow up calls since the work just checking to make sure everything is working great. That is SO impressive. I even recommended them to my neighbor and since my neighbor used them as well I received a $100 Visa gift card in the mail WOW! This company is top notch!!
Description of Work: Mike came out to evaluate some seepage that I had in my front basement wall in a corner. I chose this company over the 3 estimates I received based on his knowledge and the company's history and reviews online. I met the owner twice during the course of the work and was very impressed overall with the company.

I would recommend them to anyone! The whole job went great! I would be happy to let other see the quality of thier work! They had come out on a prior occasion in October 2012 (did separate write up on this) to provide us an estimate to correct our floor issues. At the point they came out we were in dispute with a prior handyman service (and still are) over work that had been abandoned so we chose not to have worldwide start until we could try to resolve the dispute. World Wide worked with us to help us with costs and to wait until we had tried further to either get the prior work done or recover money that had been taken for work to be operformed that never was.Throughout all of this World Wide kept in touch and continued to hold to their estimate and work with us! The day of the new pour finally came in December as with winter upon us we could wait no longer. World Wide was ready and scheduled a date that met our needs! They came as they said they would at 8AM. They proceeded to do all of the prep needed for the pour and removed a piece of the side entrance door sill plate that had been poured over by the previous owners - this was one of our problem areas that they corrected. The over pour was needed because our garage had previously been converted to heated office space and over the 14 years the driveway which is asphalt had two repair jobs that raised the outside level nearly 5 inches higher than the concrete floor. The over pour they did fixed this issue as well as some settling cracks that occurred in the old slab. They provided us a smooth floor finish and a i inch step down 12 inches back from the entrance to facilitate good draining and a tight seal for our new garage door. When they finished they cleaned everything up to a point that it looked like they had not been there. They did a great job from start to finish! If I have any other concrete work to be done World Wide will be the only call I need to make!
Description of Work: Worldwide had previously supplied us with an estimate and then worked with us to get the pour date we needed. They did all prep work required before the pouring, removed an imbedded door sill frame and repoured the side door entrance step, They completely poured the nearly 10 yard job and did all finishing to give us a great over pour. Do have them do all the work - don't try to prep yourself - they do a great job with all aspects of the job.
