I would like to express my satisfaction and appreciation to everyone at Worldwide Waterproofing and Foundation Repair. From the very beginning, everyone went above and beyond to ensure that my foundation repair job was completed promptly, professionally, and with my satisfaction in mind. Even before the work began, the inspector, Bill, was very thorough in his examination of the foundation, and listened attentively to all of my concerns. He then took the time to show me everything that he had found, and what steps would need to be taken in order to complete the work. Once it came time to schedule, the office manager, Chris, helped guide me through this process and informed me of exactly what to expect, along with a timetable for completion. Once work began, he called each morning to inform me of exactly what was being done that day. I couldn?t ask for better communication from him or anyone at Worldwide. The project crews were very professional and skilled, and even completed my project earlier than expected. Additionally, Worldwide?s pricing was, by far, the best around. I would highly recommend Worldwide Basement Waterproofing to anyone!

They did exactly what they said they?d do and it was fine. The work was very successful.

While assessing the drain, the technician decided to look at our sump pump. When he examined it, he noticed the pipe was a little mobile and needing to be tightened. As he attempt to examine, he said "it was the wrong type of washer holding it together. After his attempt to straighten it out, water begin spurting out everywhere. So, since he couldn't stop it he put it as tight as he could and wrapped towels around the pipe. He requested for someone to bring the clamp needed, but due to all of the recent rain we had received, there was a backlog of orders. Well, I could not stop the water from the sump pump from splurging out, everywhere. Before long, my basement was flooded. Now I had bigger issues and they were still not at my home for another 2-3 hours. Needless to say, I had to vacuum water for hours, air my basement out, move everything, air out carpet etc. It was a mess. At one point the technician tried saying it wasn't his fault, but he knew he was wrong, because the problem didn't exist. I was only frustrated with what had happened. He was trying to do good, but his good was not paying off at this point! I had a basement flooding. The thing I was trying to avoid! Anyways, someone finally came with the new clamp and the water was stopped. They did a thorough job as much as possible to try to make sure the water was stopped, but could have taken care of the clean up. The only reason I would use their services again was because the gentleman who initially did the service call was knowledgeable about the drain, and really was trying to be helpful. I just feel like there could have been more compassion about the water damage and clean up.

Bill Kowalski came out to the house to view the site and talk with me about the job. It was a good interaction and he seemed interested in the work. He then emailed a drawing and estimate for the work. I followed up with some questions and a more complete drawing of my own. Another employee responded to my email, saying that Bill was out of the office but would get back to me soon. I hadn't heard anything in a week, so emailed him again. I didn't receive a response to that email and decided Worldwide was no longer interested in the job. I understand a company can't do every job, but a quick response letting me know that would have been appreciated.

I was asked by the professional that visited my home and provided me with an estimate for concrete work, if I ever received my coupons, the answer is no. I feel as if I paid $20 for a free estimate of future services. I wished they would have provided the coupons that supposed to be for up to $4,500 discounts on work. The services they can provide in the future were well laid out and explained. Once I receive my coupons then I will change my rating.

Very professional, offered several options to complete work. Even offered a do-it-yourself option.

Quick, on time, Worldwide found no foundation issue and no need for them to do work, and problem solved by following their good and inexpensive advice.

I scheduled on service call for an estimate. I was given a window of 2 hours for a specific day/time. On the date of the service call, no one showed up within the two hours. I called the office but they couldn't reach the technician to determine where he was and when I could expect him. I decided just to reschedule on another date, requesting first stop early AM service. On the rescheduled date, no one showed up at the appointed time. I let 2 hours go by then called the office. Person I spoke to could not provide any information and then wanted ALL of my information again. At that point, I decided this wasn't the company for me. I see they have gotten some good ratings; that's why I tried them. Hope others will have a more positive experience.

There were many scheduling issues with this job to say the least (remember any job that involves concrete is subject to rain delays). In the end, I am very satisfied with the work Worldwide Concrete did in replacing my porch and sidewalk. They are willing to work with their customers to insure that they are satisfied. Chris is awesome!

Went great, fast, professional, and on time

The deal was for $20 for $350 towards a concrete project..I wanted them to fill some cracks in my concrete patio and a small footwall on the side of my home where water was beginning to seep through in the floor of the basement. The technician that came out recommended a sump pump which I don't believe that I need considering No water has ever come into my basement until the cement foot wall on the side of my home became cracked. He also stated that the job was not big enough for the company to come out to fix. I have since then requested a refund.

The price was okay and he called me everyday to see if I was going to do anything. I had no problems with him.

They fixed my foundation and water proofed it.

I made an appointment for a Friday about a week ahead and he called a couple of hours after the scheduled time to reschedule for the next day. It was raining a lot, so I guess he had more important customers to take care of that day. He never showed up the next day and ignored my text.

We have not yet contracted with World Wide.

Called and came early which was great for me. Was very efficient and very honest. Price quoted was considerably lower than other estimates that I have gotten and the proposed solution made more sense than others offered.

I met with a Mr. Marrapodi from Worldwide Concrete for about an hour on 6/15/25 at my house. At the end of our meeting Mr. Marrapodi wrote me out an estimate. I told him I wanted to check with a friend who just had similar work done to get advice. My friend actually used Worldwide Concrete and provided me with his estimate and stated that he was pleased with their work. He had about the same amount of concrete demolished and removed but had more new concrete laid. HIs estimate was $600 lower than mine. Because of where I live in the city access is limited and more physical labor is needed therefore the higher cost was understandable. I will note that they did try to raise the cost of the estimate on my friend but he was able to hold them to their original estimate. After having the aforementioned conversation with my friend I decided to go ahead with the work. I contacted Mr. Marrapodi on 7/3/15 to schedule a time to get the work done. He told me he was headed out of town and he would get back with me after the holiday. The following week came and went without a return phone call. I then called Mr. Marrapodi again on 7/17 to inquire about scheduling a time to get the work done. He then told me that he underestimated the work and they wasn?t going to honor the estimate or do the work. I then ask him what would the estimate be then. He said he wasn?t sure but he would check and get back with me by the end of the business day. Again, the business day came and went without a call. In the end, Worldwide Concrete may do good work, however, their business integrity and ethics are poor. And if their ethics and integrity are lacking probably so is their work!

They dug me out of a hole with my condo association and went out of their way. They did not back away and did not run off; they completed the job. They saw the situation I was in and did not run. This is more than a job; this is a liability. They did what they said they were going to do. They actually did not charge me what a lot of people were going to charge me. I know it was a good price because I had so many contractors look at it.

We did not hire them because we needed to wait to fix the problem(bad timing). They were quick to contact us for an appointment and spent about a half an hour at our house discussing the problem and a possible solution. They gave us a written estimate in a day or two. A great way to get a difficult problem looked at to see what it would cost to fix it.

.THE CREW ARRIVED AT APPROX. 08:00 HRS ON THURSDAY 25, JUNE 2015 AND PROCEEDED TO CHANGE MY PROPERTY INTO SOMETHING YOU SEE ON THE NIGHTLY NEWS [BEIRUT] THEY WERE QUICK AND EFFICIENT. THE PREP WORK WENT WELL. THE SUPERVISOR CAME AND WENT AS POLICY DICTATED. BROUGHT EQUIPMENT THAT WASN'T INSTALLED. I HAD A REQUEST THAT I WANTED TO WRITE A NAME IN THE FRESH CONCRETE [SHELLEY] IN MEMORY OF MY DEPARTED WIFE, WHO PASSED ON MAR 25, 2015. HE ASSURED ME THAT HE WOULD LET ME KNOW WHEN THE CONCRETE WOULD BE READY. THIS WAS ON THURSDAY. I NEVER SAW THE SUPERVISOR AGAIN. ON THE DAY OF THE POUR THE TRUCK WAS HERE BY 09:00 BUT THE CREW WAS STILL PREPPING THE SITE. BY 11:00 POURING OF THE CONCRETE WAS WELL UNDERWAY.AND ANOTHER SUPERVISOR WAS ON SITE. HE SUGGESTED THAT THE DRAIN [DOWNSPOUT] BE DIVERTED UNDER THE CONCRETE AND DRAIN CLOSER TO THE SIDEWALK LOCATED AT THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE. OK SOUNDED GOOD TO ME. THE SUPERVISOR DEPARTED THE AREA. THE CREW MADE THE CHANGE TO THE DRAIN AND COMPLETED THE CONCRETE WORK. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB .AT THE END OF THE DAY THE OFFICE ]WWW] CALLED AND WANTED ME TO PAY THE FOREMAN ON THE JOB SITE. I TOLD THE PERSON, I DON'T SPEAK SPANISH, AND AS FAR AS I KNEW HE DIDN'T SPEAK ENGLISH, SINCE HE NEVER SPOKE ENGLISH TO ME AND ON THE FEW OCCASIONS WE TRIED TO COMMUNICATE IT WAS A DISASTER. I THOUGHT ON THIS AND CALLED THE OFFICE [WWW] BACK AND ASKED IF I COULD PAY HER AT THE OFFICE. SHE SAID OF COURSE AND THIS IS WHERE I WISHED THAT I HAD DEALT WITH THE ON SITE FOREMAN. I TRIED TO GIVE HER MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER AND SHE JUST COULD NOT GET THE NUMBER RIGHT. AFTER SEVERAL TIMES AND MUCH ATTITUDE ON HER PART WE FINALLY GOT THE RIGHT NUMBER AND I COULD MOVE ON. ALSO, THE CREW DIDN'T CLEAN UP AS I THOUGHT THEY SHOULD HAVE. NAILS IN THE DRIVEWAY, AND SOME COSMETIC CLEANING WOULD HAVE DONE MUCH TO GET A BETTER REVUE.

We are trying to sell our house and our realtor indicated that the spalling on our front steps needed to be repaired, and that it shouldn't cost more than $500-1000 based on his experience selling other homes in our development with the same exact problem and working with those owners to get the repairs done. Worldwide came back with a proposal of $2800 ($2350 after my $350 "discount") or $3650 ($3300 after "discount") for an upgraded service, after reviewing some pictures I sent them of the spalling damage to the front steps. Time was of the essence for me as we were trying to get the house listed, but the price disparity in this estimate vs what my realtor told me, forced me to look elsewhere. Every other contractor I reached out to was willing to provide a free estimate either immediately over the phone after I described the work I needed and the number of steps and landings, or after looking at the pics I emailed. A few even came by to check the steps out in person. None of them wanted to charge me for providing an estimate, and they were all SIGNIFICANTLY lower in price than Worldwide. I don't feel like I received very much value for the $20 I spent, and I regret having made this purchase. I had hoped that by eliminating the need for Worldwide to come out to do an in-person estimate, they would offer to refund me the $20 if I elected not to take advantage of the $350 "discount" and moving forward with their proposal. I didn't ask for the money back. After reading reviews on Angie's list, it looks like Worldwide mainly does foundation repair work, or patios, or driveways, or leak repair in basements, etc... which can run upwards of $10k-50k. I can only assume that the reason their quote was so much higher than all the others is because my job was small potatoes to them, and they weren't really that interested.

**UPDATE* Happily, the below-referenced issue was resolved - it was an inadvertent error and the company owner reached out, explained everything, and put things right. The below pluses remain real positives and the negatives have been rendered moot and gone away . . . a happy ending! Unfortunately, this has been a disappointing experience. We paid for a foundation inspection and liked meeting and discussing things with the technician who came out. He indicated that he'd send us a written report in a couple or so days. It has now been three weeks and we've received nothing other than excuses: "maybe it's in your e-mail spam folder," followed by "I'm on the road right now so can't send it out to you again, but I'll call the office tomorrow and have them do it . . . but you shouldn't call them and ask about it," followed by "it's been really busy, but I'll get to it soon," etc.). It all started so promisingly, but we - sadly - have no grounds to provide a positive recommendation at this point.

Contractor arrived on time. He took his time and checked out the basement and crawl space in the basement, making notes. Unfortunately, we were not able to access on side of the house because we could not gain access due to construction behind the property. However, there hadn't been any noticeable problems on that side. He did suggest changing the gutter downspout on the side where there was a wet corner to the other side of the building (rowhouse) to drain in the alley. Depending upon the results of the analysis and the costs of the recommendations, will determine if we use the provider.

The patio looks good and the price was fair, after a few bumps in our contract/communication. World Wide came through and made our project to be what we expected. We are very happy with it.

Gary came to the house for our first visit on time for the estimate. From there I shopped around for better prices, but Gary use more knowledgeable, and professional in helping me understand the difference in the work that would be getting done. The level of work that was done and the clean up afterward both A+. Like I said I would recommend Worldwide Concrete to anyone who would ask. I have showed off my new driveway to friends at work and they all are asking me for Worldwide's phone number which I'm happy to give. Overall great experience and I could not be happier.
