+ -1 moreMr. Shilling and his associate arrived at my home neatly dressed in their work uniform, and were extremely personable, professional, and patient with my questions. I found them to be knowledgeable about the situation at hand, and honest and trustworthy about the work that needed to be done, as well as work that DIDN’T need to be done. His wife, who mans the office phones while he is out on calls during the day, was very pleasant and professional as well. It was a pleasure to deal with a “Mom and Pop” business, and I will be using them for any future needs that may arise. I highly recommend using Shilling for your septic issues.

+ -1 moreI guess I will have to call someone else. Very disappointing because our A/C guy recommend them and kept saying how great they were. The way I see it, they can only be great if they show up first!
Description of Work: I called on a Tuesday asking for service they told me to dig up my distribution box to save me money so I did and called them back on Wednesday to see if they could stop by and check out the system. She said they would call me back. ( no call back ) Thursday I called again asking for service, She said oh I didn't know you wanted us to come out. I told her yes please come out. She said someone will be out on Friday. ( no one came ) So I called that night and was told that who he didn't get to on Friday he would get to on Saturday, again ( NO ONE CAME!!! ) and no phone call!!!! So I called again on Sunday but I know they are closed. Today is Sunday no toilet or showers for us tonight.

+ -1 moreTank pump/cleaning, replaced baffle that had corroded and fallen off (inside tank) with a pvc part, fixed top to pipe used for drain field inspection. Very professional, makes sure the job is done right. Explained everything well.

+ -1 moreTwo workers dug out the access for my septic tank and lifted off the 90lb cover, and then proceeded to clean out the septic tank. They informed me about a baffle being broke off that needed replacing, but said there was no pressure to do it now. Left me with a quote to fix the baffle at a later date, for about 500.00. They arrived about 7:30 AM and left about 9:15. Paid 10$ less for paying cash instead of a check. Very knowledgeable...would recommend to all.

+ -1 moreINCREDIBLY PLEASED with the service from Shilling Septic! They arrived early. The gentleman was very professional. We had a problem where the baffles needed to be replaced. He explained exactly what they were/what they do and provided me a VERY reasonable estimate on the spot, along with a timeframe he could complete the work. We have used other companies in the past, and based on the time they spent cleaning out our tank this time, I am wondering if the people we used in the past really did a thorough job. I had gotten several estimates for this job. They were the lowest price and I am very pleased with the service. Highly recommend and will use again!

Description of Work: Shilling Septic came to pump our septic system. The lady I spoke with on the phone was pleasant and scheduled a time for them to come out. I asked if she could give me a time rang since I would need to take off of work. She let me know that they would arrive in the morning. They came at 10:30 am and were very nice and got right to work. They finished by 11 am, I wrote a check and they were on their way. I would recommend this company and will use them again.

+ -1 moreThe man was extremely clean, courteous and very experienced. He answered all of our questions and we had many! We will absolutely be using this service in the future.
Description of Work: The Shilling service man pulled up his big truck with the tank on the back. He located the cap for our septic tank by poking the ground with a pole. He dug with a shovel and then removed the cap. He then informed of us the condition, the things to consider regarding the drain field and the water softener etc. Then he sucked out all of the waste and encouraged us to have yearly cleanings.

+ -1 moreShilling Septic service was wonderful. I had already filed for a permit through the previous contractor, and so Shilling didn't take any money until the job was completed. He was very honest with me when bidding on the job, informing me that there were several people in front of me who whose jobs would be completed first. Shilling did an amazing job throughout, and I wish that I had gone with them first.
Description of Work: I had Shilling replace drain field on our septic tank after another company walked off the job.
