Nick Rivers Gutters

I contacted Nick Rivers Gutters through Angie's List site. The entire transaction was conducted on-line. I described the work I needed done in detail (length of gutters, locations, height off the ground). I received an e-mail from a scheduler with costs for specific services and extras. They gave me a price and scheduled me for two days later. They showed up that day as they indicated and took before and after pictures of the 5 gutters that were cleaned. No problems.

This company might charge a little more for gutter cleaning, but they are worth the investment. They take pride in what they do and genuinely want to do a superior job. They flush the gutters with water to make sure they are clear and can also make adjustments and repairs. Overall I've found that they do a fabulous job and basically inspect your roof for free while they're up there. The technician and office manager are very professional and great to work with. I highly recommend this company for gutter cleaning and I will hire them again. Thank you!

Fantastic! They were on site promptly at 7:30a.m. and worked quickly but efficiently. Unclogged five of our drains and re-secured three gutters. Definitely recommend :)

Fantastic service. Gutters cleaned and unblocked for no additional fee, with before and after photos provided. They didn't try to sell me additional services and even provided recommendations for other issues they saw (foundation due to soil erosion). Highly recommend and will use again.

Nick Rivers cleaned my gutters on 10/14. I was not at home when the service was performed, so I can't comment on how it went. I was really looking forward to receiving the photos, but they were not sent to me. I have checked my spam folder and there's no email from Nick Rivers or Walmart with the photos. I sent Nick Rivers an email on 10/24 to request that they send me the photos, but 5 days later no one has bothered to respond to my email. I'm very disappointed because my previous experience using this company was excellent. I'm giving them N/A for quality because, without the photos, I have no way to assess the quality of their work.

I have hired Nick River's Gutters for the past 5 years. They come as agreed to and do a thorough job that they even document with pictures. Great job again. Friendly people work for this company.

Two guys showed up while I was home and went straight to setting up to get on the roof. I heard them stomp around for a bit and turn on the water and spray it around for a bit. Then I heard them packing up to leave less than 10 minutes later. I went out to ask them if they got all the gutters; while getting into their truck to leave they said, "yep, you'll get the pictures." Again reiterating their promise of pictures. The next day, I received two pictures - both of "after" shots and not of all the gutters. I replied with concern about where the rest of the photos were and was told that they "accidentally took a video." But no offer of letting me see the video; I then asked to please send the video and was told that they "didn't know how to upload it" and that "it was too big to send." I told them they needed to figure out a way to do so and instead received an unnecessary and incredibly rude mocking response. I then told them they won't receive payment until they can demonstrate that they completed the service. They immediately said they would "just send you to collections." I would completely accept if they just want to come take fresh pictures or if they would upload the video and give me a link to view it but instead they went straight to rude bullying. Do NOT use this service! Unfortunately, they can neither be trusted to do the work or to follow through and stand by their advertised service. And will be rude and obnoxious in the process. So sad and so unnecessary.

I have used Nick Rivers for over 2 years now. They have done well up till the recent visit. I know they are expensive but the quality was worth it in the past and always included the Angies list discount. This recent time. I came home to gutter debris all over my yard, cigarette butts in the trash can with the remaining debris as well as gutters that were not thoroughly cleaned. Upon inspection, I saw many twigs still in the gutters the same day. With the pictures taken, you could not see them but I could through upstairs windows. A phone call and email to the company yielded nothing. I will not use again. Very unprofessional. Almost forgot that this service date had to be changed as I had make an earlier apt that somehow wasn't input into the computer. The first appointment was initiated by them with a cold call to schedule a spring service. I thought, hey, that's nice. Sure I will schedule it and then it was conveniently lost??? Will have to look elsewhere for another gutter cleaner.

The 3 man crew arrived within the scheduled window. They hand cleaned the debris from the gutters, bagged it up and then rinsed the gutters out. Before and after pictures were e-mailed after the job was complete. We will use them again and I would definitely recommend them.

I received a timely response to my request for a quote and the subsequent appointment. Workers showed up on time and went right to work. Pictures of the before and after were provided. Excellent work.

It went very good, they did a great job. I have a lot of flowers in the area where they were working & they were very careful. The owneer even came out to make sure the work was done correctly.

Came on time and quickly fixed problem. Had used them in 2007 for similar problem and the owner recalled it when he arrived. Did not try to sell more services or inflate job into more work. Would certainly use them for any other work on gutters. Highly recommend them for gutter work.

Very well, able to set up a appointment around my schedule. They did a good job cleaning the gutters and sent me photes of the gutters before & after.

We initially had Nick and crew out Oct 2013 to clean the gutters , which they did efficiently and effectively. They took pictures of their work which we appreciated. At that time, we were told we should consider replacing the gutters since the fascia board supporting the gutters was rotten due to low quality of builder grade materials. The house is 15 years old. It was also recommended we replace the gutters at that time. We discussed it, got another opinion and price, and then forget about it until it was time to clean the gutters again :) I contacted Nick Rivers Gutters and asked if they would honor the estimate from a year before and they said they would and put us on the schedule for a few days later. The crew arrived early and worked tirelessly all day, knowing that that due to the size of the job, they would not be able to finish it all, but they tried. They removed all the gutters, removed all the fascia board. They wrapped all the fascia board to match the siding of the house, and also added 2 additional downspouts to help the flow of water from the roof. They put gutter covers on all the new gutters as well. The next day they came back to replace the gutters and downspouts on the screened in porch. They were professional ,and cleaned up the job site very well. I could tell they take pride in the work they do. After the job was done, we had a rainstorm which showed a small problem with drainage on the back of the house. They came out promptly to look at it, and fixed it even though it had to do with roof shingles and not with the gutters. I appreciate all that they did and highly recommend this company.

Very excellent result. I needed the work done on a tight schedule due to some deck work getting done on the back of the house. I am 100 percent pleased with the result. This is the fourth time Nick Rivers Gutters has done work on my house, and I was very satisfied with the result, the ease of getting scheduled, the professionalism of the entire company, and the reasonable price. I rate this company A+ again.

They arrived within the time frame established and quickly got to work. After they were done they came to my door and presented me with an invoice. After paying them I had to ask if there was any damage to the gutters or any needed repairs. We only recently moved into the home so I was unsure of the gutters' condition. Other gutter services I have used in the past told me immediately after cleaning what repair work was needed. I do not think this crew was planning on providing me that feedback and would not have if I did not ask. The crew member I spoke with seemed very rushed. After the crew left I went outside to let our dogs out and found that our back deck and AC unit in the rear were covered with debris from the gutter cleaning. My husband actually had to go out later that day and wash off the AC unit and the deck because so much wet debris was present. Other gutter services we have used cleaned up after themselves much better. We still need our garage gutters cleaned and some repairs made, but I will choose another company for that work.

Fantastic! They were beyond professional. My gutters were overdue for a clean and repair and I was so glad to have them to the rescue. I will look forward to working with them again!

Some confusion about which date they planned to visit but no big deal. They arrived and completed the work in an efficient manner. This was the second time I hired them; they performed the work last year. One thing they did not supply was the before and after pictures even after two emails requesting them. Disappointed since they advertise that this is part of their service.

Nick was great. Everyone else said the gutters need to be replaced. Nick was able to repair the existing gutters and save me 70% from the other estimates. He came out on a Saturday to quite and the work was done Monday. Couldn't have asked for anyone better. Would recommend to anyone looking for honest and quality work.

Couldn't be happier. The office staff was very helpful and responsive. They did exactly what they said they would, when they promised. They sent before and after pictures to show exactly what was done. They alerted me to a needed repair (verifying this with pictures) and did the work for a reasonable price. Wouldn't use anyone else after this.

Performed work on the day agreed upon. We were not home, this was not a problem. They did a good job, they left an invoice and I was able to see pics of the cleared gutters the next day.

I was not at home during service as it is not required. this is the second time I have used Nick Rivers Gutters and both times I have been very satisfied. I have one gutter which is difficult to access and requites working around a covered pergola built right up to the house and gutter. During service this time an incident occurred but was well managed. A piece of plastic covering a pergola was broken accidently. Service provider noted the problem at the ime of service and promised to contact me about replacement. Within 3 weeks the part was replaced. The delay was because it was difficult to find the clear plastic to match the rest. I was impressed with the honesty and follow-through of this company.

We were very pleased with his work - he went completely around all our gutters on the house to check and make sure they were secure and where there were a little loose he fixed that area. He completely cleaned out all our down spouts so that the water would flow freely. We had some communication gap in getting him to our house, but once he was here he was very professional and his work was excellent. We would highly recommend him to our friends.
