Misty Clean

I contacted Misty Clean on Thursday of last week and we had our first cleaning this Monday, only a few days later. I found them on Angie's List and Misty was incredibly responsive. The cleaning was great, and I love that Jessica called me the morning of to see if there was anything I wanted her to pay particular attention to. The cleaning was fabulous and I'm really looking forward to scheduling a regular bi-weekly cleaning service with them.

They come every two weeks and clean the whole house. I have two dogs and 4 cats so it is not easy. I am at work when they come so I think they come at differing times. The place always smells great after they've been here.

They clean my house and they do a great job. I've been using them for over a year.

In general I was satisfied. There were a couple of things that were a little annoying but when I played them out to the proprietor she either rectified them or gave me something back for them. I will use them again in the future.

I have to say I was very pleased with the professionalism of Misty and the kindness she shows to her customers. Being in a service oriented business ourselves we know the meaning of GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, I found her courteous, friendly and helpful. We Scheduled the first cleaning for a Thursday and there were a team of two cleaners that showed up (a mother and daughter team). Since I work full time I did make arrangements for them to get into my home. I got a phone call from one of the team members asking how to work our Dyson for Pet Hair upright vacuum cleaner, she was afraid that she was going to break it. I found that cute and proceeded to explain how to work it. She also called a few more times to clarify items that I needed done. Which I liked and appreciated. I asked for them to pull out my sofa in the family room (I understand they don't move furniture but due to us having laminate flooring it made it easy to move the sofa). They vacuumed behind the sofa which needed it badly since I have three cats. I have had back surgery and needed to hire someone to clean my house like I would do. The were pretty efficient and got the job done in what seemed a reasonable amount of time. The only thing that I found was that they didn't do all the baseboards but I am willing to overlook that the first time. It wasn't a big deal to me. I have hired a service previous and they sent me people who didn't speak english and had a hard time understanding what I wanted them to do. Plus they were charging me $160.00 every two weeks, versus what Misty Clean is charging I am a much happier person. I know that this is my first cleaning with Misty Clean but tomorrow is the second and I will be taking advantage of the coupon here on Angie's List for the next two cleanings, plus I can't wait until they clean my refrigerator for me...LOL I look forward to seeing how well they do for the second go round...

The cleaning my house got was good. Misty was responsive with a follow-up call.

I am very happy with our service thus far. Misty returned my calls and emails promptly when we were setting things up, gave me an estimate over the phone which is the price I have been charged. Our house is being well cleaned so far, and the instructions we leave are being followed. Communication by email has gone very smoothly. I have no complaints.

I have two girls that come in and they are just absolutely wonderful. I have some windows that I can barely reach and they tell me not to try to reach them. They take care of it for me. No matter what I ask them to clean they'll do it. I have tried other companies and there was no comparison. They even clean out my microwave. It's the little things that surprise me. I love those girls.

I called Misty Clean and requested a quote for our house. I indicated I would like to establish a regular cleaning schedule which we agreed would be every two weeks. I requested Melissa as she had so many reports on Angie's List and she seemed like she would be awesome! Melissa came exactly when she said she would. She worked tirelessly and to perfectionist standards to thoroughly clean the floors, windows, kitchen, bathroom to a sparkling clean finish. The house is full of windows and she worked and worked to make them sparkle. She's come back every two weeks after that and I don't want anyone else! She is awesome and someone that has the ethics that I truly admire. She's an extremely hard worker and I trust her completely. Misty has been a joy to talk to on the phone as well and likes to make sure the customer is happy and gets what they request. The company is a joy to work with! It's always nice to come home from a "Melissa" day! THANKS!!

I am absolutely delighted with Misty's--and I have high standards when it comes to the cleanliness of my home. When someone is as busy as I am, she hires a cleaning service in the hope of delegating full responsibility for the task without worrying that the work will be slapdash or superficial. Misty's team not only does an excellent job: its members pay attention to the customer's priorities, respect her possessions, and never find it necessary to rearrange the house just to prove they've been on the premises. They're even kind to my puppies! What a relief, to come home after a tough day and an abominable commute, and find my own little oasis as sparkling and fresh as if I'd spent the whole day cleaning it myself! Misty's has my highest endorsement--without reservation.

Misty was friendly and responsive, so we had no issues with that, but when it came to the cleaning we did not end up as satisfied. The first person who came out to clean left a lot of cleaning to be desired. When we provided this feedback to Misty she was helpful in getting someone out the next day, but the second person also forgot some of the same areas and our wood floors were streaked. I ended up doing the floors over again and having to clean the the areas that were missed, which is not exactly what you are looking for when you spend that type of money.

They did an Ok job. One of the ladies broke a duck by the fireplace and they taped it. We questioned them and they did not have a good resolution.

The cleaning girls were very personable and so was the owner who manages the clients and the appointments on the phone. Nevertheless, I would recommend getting the first appointment of the day, since we got the last one and they seemed to be in a bit of a hurry. They traveled to our house from eastern MD, and they were approximately 1 hour late. The girls started right away, but they seemed a bit tired already and as I said in a hurry. We found some windows and baseboards that they missed while cleaning. Also, they didn't move any objects over our vanity so dust was still around some jewelry boxes and decoration. Overall, they took about 2.5 hours to clean the three levels of the house. Finally, we were disappointed that we didn't get the discount mentioned on Angie's List. We totally forgot all about it and I guess they did, too. Make sure you ask for it! Still, we are hiring the company for a monthly cleaning. Even though it's not an excuse to be late or clean superficially, we feel the time of the day didn't work for us. Next time we'll try to make an appointment in the morning.

I work from home, so it was great when Melissa arrived and was happy to work around me. She spent a great deal of time making sure everything was clean to her satisfaction.

It has been great. They did a good job cleaning.

It is fine. They are very industries and work very hard. I am very happy with them.

She did a fine job. I plan to have her once a month now. She is very sweet.

It has gone very well. There has been a couple of times when I've needed to reschedule, and they are fine with doing so. I've used a couple other services over the past 10 years, and after a couple of times, I've been dissatisfied with them - not so with Misty.

I use them every two weeks for house cleaning. My experience has been great!

I contacted this cleaning service after reading high reports on Angie's List. I received a call back quickly the same day: A+ We talked about the basics that it was a move-out clean, and they said they would call me again on a specific day: A+ I never received a call: F- and did not bother with further contact after speaking with another excellent contractor that I hired for the job. Why does a high rated contractor treat a potential new customer with little respect after citing a date they would call and then never calling at all? I guess they have enough business. Or they forgot to write down my #. Well, there are other great companies to choose from. I don't feel the need to "chase" a contractor because I want to spend my own hard earned money on their service.

Excellent. Called and set this up about a week in advance, they were able to accommodate my day of choice.A 2-girl team arrived on time, and after a brief walk through with me, they got right to work. House was particularly dusty from drywall work, and the kitchen and 2-1/2 baths were in bad shape, as these rooms were the only ones not painted, and I had stored everything from throughout the rest of the house in these rooms. I had all the stuff moved out, but the floors, counters, everything were a mess. The crew did an excellent job, and were polite, professional and respectful of my property.

I would suggest you speak with the owner about her services.

Both ladies were hard workers. We got along very well and accomplished a lot. I am very hard to please and I thought both of them were great.

She was punctual and went immediately to work. She was careful and neat in her cleaning and freshening. She had a pleasant attitude and willingness to do the job. I would definitely have her back to clean my house.
