It went great. We are very pleased. Jose and his crew arrived promptly and went to work. He and his crew did a beautiful job trimming, pruning, shaping and mulching and were very efficient. They removed all debris from the site when done.. They were very professional, pleasant, and neat! I have already asked them for a quote to do future projects and look forward to working with them again.

Jose and his team did an excellent job cleaning up our entire yard, mulching, trimming and removing all yard waste. They also installed a new retaining wall. We asked for a walkway that would be functional so we would not have to walk through the grass anymore in the winter. What we got was so much more. Our house's curb appeal is now over-the-top. JS Landscaping enhanced the front yard and gave it a major wow-factor while keeping it consistent in style with the house and neighborhood. JS Landscaping's workers were punctual, professional, and meticulous about the details for our hardscape. The process was easy and the prices were competitive. They are reliable and trustworthy. The owner is wonderful to work with. He wants his clients to be happy and is genuinely excited for them to see their yard transformed. This is a business owner that is conscientiously aware that his work is his reputation. Hire them!

It worked out in the end. We had a discrepancy on additional material cost. He did not give me a cost up front for mortar and just said not much when I requested the cost in advance. I even offered to purchase the mortar in advance and he refused the offer. I had 2 bags of type "S" mortar in the garage and he said he was not going to use that type. He said he had to use his own and I re-imburse him a very small "cost". I took pictures of the bags of mortar they actually used and my husband got the exact pricing from the local hardware store. The contractor actually used the type "S" mortar and in the end he tried to charge me double the price, tax, plus delivery cost when he brought it in his truck. I paid him the local price, plus tax and a little extra and told him we did not discuss delivery pricing and he could have used the two bags I already had and purchased less.

They were very good. I was really pleased with them. I got them on Angie's List. I used them in the spring, $749 for 12 or 15 hours of landscaping I think it was.

Fantastic effort, quality work, promptly performed at a reasonable price. I heartily recommend JS Landscaping without qualification.

Jose and his crew are great. They are prompt; they listen; their work is efficient and through; and they clean up completely before leaving.

They worked efficiently and got a lot done. Our yard is a mess and we had a lot of leaves still on the ground. It looks much better now after they used blowers and a mulching mower. They also did a nice job cleaning everything up when they were done.

It went well. The job required more work so they returned the following week and charged their regular rate.

Yesterday I received a phone call asking if JS Landscaping could come out and remove my leafs on a day when it was raining outside. I agreed and even agreed to an additional 1 hour for $50 if needed. Today I have received an emailed invoice saying the following: Fall clean up 11/30/2015 We spend two guys 90 minutes extra for the leaf removal. Total 3 hour extra Weather conditions that wasn't good but will finish the job What's so we removed lot leaf. 1 150.00 150.00 BALANCE DUE $150.00 This is after I already paid $150. I am certain that had they chosen a day when the leaves were dry that the job would not have take 6 man hours. In the past I've never paid over $200 for leaf removal. They are the ones who chose a day when it was raining to remove the leaves. Not me. The only reason I used the service was because I thought I could save $50 from my usual payment. I've agreed to pay an additional $50 as stated during our phone call. Am I being unreasonable? I'd love to know what others think.

I purchased a Big Deal with JS Landscaping for yard cleanup. Jose worked on my yard last year and (sort of) knew what he was facing. Typically, the weather didn't cooperate. By the time he was able to get there, tons of leaves had fallen and I knew what kind of job this would be. It took well beyond the six hours covered by the deal, but he and his worker stayed and got the front yard done. Awesome job, and I greatly appreciated him getting it all done in that one day!

Two guys, no vacuuming, but they did clean up the yard which is more than a half acre. No complaints at all.

It was okay. For the work they did, they did a very good job. The point is, they did a lot of talking. They did a good job trimming my bushes. I wouldn't use them again because they spent a lot of time. They just could be working but they were chatting with one another. I didn't really talk to them much. I just told them what to do. They did it and they left.

Jose and his crew were punctual, tidy and very pleasant. They were incredibly hard working and our back yard and part of the front yard looked their best in twenty years. I plan on having them back. I used an Angie's List deal and got my money's worth and more. Highly recommend JS Landscaping!

Jose and his crew were very quick and careful to complete my list of yard cleanup tasks. Although there was some confusion about the date of the work, when they arrived on the next day, they rapidly accomplished all but trimming bushes, for which they needed additional tools, and removal of debris, which was more than could be handled with trash bags. Therefore, they came back two days later to complete the contract to more than my expectations. Jose is very personable and accommodating, and I look forward to hiring JS Landscaping again.

JS Landscaping provided full service hardscape design and installation. The owner Jose was professional and most importantly always on time to appointments and phone calls and finished the work in record time. Other hardscape/landscape companies were estimating 5 times the length to completion and more than 30% percent cost. I have recommended JS Landscaping to many of my closest friends and neighbors already! Excellent work, fair cost and ON TIME!

I won't lie - we had a bit of a bumpy start. I purchased the deal toward the end of winter and a scheduling date for yard cleanup had to be pushed back many times because of the weather. No worries - no one can control the weather! But then one day he showed up while I was at work and my 83-year-old mother was home alone. Not good. I can't ask her to walk them around the yard - she doesn't even know these people. To just show up? No notice? I could have arranged to be home. For a first visit, it was just mandatory that I be here. Then on a scheduled time for them to be here - a Saturday afternoon - they never showed. Nothing irks me more than that. My time is valuable and I stayed home all day, waiting for them. I deserved a phone call at the very least. Needless to say, I was *very* unhappy. So we scheduled again. This time they were on time, courteous, professional, thorough and fast! I couldn't believe the work they got done in the time they were here. Bottom line: I would hire JS Landscaping again in a heartbeat. Efficient, courteous, fair and not just after my wallet. NOTE: My grades for punctuality and professionalism represent the problems I had in the beginning. Those have to be noted, even if the end result was stellar! I have no doubt they would have en excellent review from me the next time I use their services.

He was wonderful - Jose did a great job and I am confident that our drainage problem has been resolved.

We delayed a few times due to weather. Once they could come, they worked fast and steadily, and did a thorough job.
