Thanks, Maria This would push back service another week and I need it sooner than that. I have never had a company that did this. I have never had to log into another website to reschedule the service. It was very confusing.

Description of Work: Cut and trimmed lawn twice, weeded and cleaned up gardens.

Description of Work: I purchased the lawn mowing deal to get our lawn mowed while we were on vacation. The mowing was sloppy, lots of big chunks of cut grass were left around the yard, resulting in dead patches in the grass. Definitely a case of you get what you paid for, the money we saved in getting the deal is going to be spent on new grass seed.

Description of Work: I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for some yardwork. The company was in touch within a couple days. Unfortunately, they could not do the work I had planned, as I do not have a driveway or any other place to park a trailer. The woman I spoke with was gracious, agreed to refund the purchase right away, and sent a pleasant email noting that she hoped they could be of service in the future.

Description of Work: They were asked to cut in my garden, weed, remove 3 bushes, trim bushes and if time allowed lay mulch that I provided. they accomplished everything in the time allowed. The crew was very courteous and cleaned up after themselves. My contact, Maria was very attentive, kept me up to date due to rainy weather at the time. I would use GHCL, LLC again!

Description of Work: I do not know why I am rating a company that did not do work for me. They are a landscaping company that you have to provide the landscaping supplies in order for the guys to complete the job. Why would I pay a company to use my landscaping supplies? The suggestion was to pay each landscaper $30.00 or more in tips. Why am I paying a company to use my landscaping supplies then tip their workers, and pay them $149?? This does not make sense.

Description of Work: Did a great job of getting rid of old scraggly landscape plants around the house and replaced them with plants I purchased. Did some other ground maintenance as well. Wonderful crew with a great and courteous lead professional. I would recommend without reservation.

Description of Work: The lady did not reach me back for 5 days after purchase. Then scheduled another 10 days away. I told her my lawn needed a mowing and then she said she would do it Wed 4/29.She called and used an excuse that her mow guy could not pull on the property as they had work on the street. This was not true as I asked the worker on the street if anyone asked them to move and they said no one did. Then she said she called me for 15 minutes. This was a lie as m my cell phone time stamp showed I called her back in 3 minutes. Naturally, I was mad @ being lied to plus her worker had left already. She said I yelled at her and she told me to ask for a refund from Angie's list. This was all a ruse to not do the work for whatever reason. I even told this story to her boss, Bryan who wrote me that it was too bad since the refund request from GHCL was already initiated. I do not like being lied to. If you do not want the work or do not have the time tell me honestly. Don't make me feel like a fool. In the final e-mail Bryan said he would speak to Maria about her behavior. Overall, a very distasteful experience.

Description of Work: I wanted the contractor to replace some timbers on a hill in my backyard. The fine print on the contract stated they did this type of work. When I spoke with the contractor's wife she stated that they normally don't do this type of work but she would send someone out to take a look at the job. She contacted me on the day of the appointment stating that her husband couldn't make it but she would come. After looking at the job she wasn't sure her husband would do the job. First, it isn't the kind of job they normally do and second the timbers are on a hill close to the house and there could be a liability issue. I told her that since this is outside of the scope of the work they normally do I was uncomfortable with them doing the job. She was very professional and I appreciated her honesty. I told her I would contact Angie's List for a refund. I sent an e-mail to customer service on 12 Apr 15 with this info. Response received from Carl S. Same day advising me to use this form.
