Description of Work: Very knowledgable and responsive staff. They had some trouble with equipment on scheduled date but promptly came out the following day. I would (will) use them again.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal from this company for $99 Chimney Sweep and $100 Credit Toward Masonry Repair. The work was not done. They did not return my call for 3 weeks. They left me an apology on voice mail 3 weeks after I left them 2 voicemails.

Description of Work: The representatives cleared the fire place area, meaning they used a blower to remove residual smoke out of the chimney, then cleared the chimney. They suggested area's of the chimney that required attention and/or repair, and also provided pictures of the areas requiring attention. The pictures did help in explaining to my husband the work needing to be completed.

Description of Work: They were running late but called to late me know. They were quick, polite, and left everything spotless.

Description of Work: We first called Chimney Tek to fix cracks in crown wash at top of chimney. But after they came and inspected the chimney, they told us that there was no flu liner. They left it completely up to us as to whether we wanted to have one installed but they did recommend waterproofing the chimney. Although it was quite expensive, we decided to have the liner installed and have the rest of the work done as well. There were only two relatively minor glitches in the process and one was really our fault. We had gotten a new cell phone with a new number since our first contact with Chimney Tek and we did not remember to tell them. So, when we got tired of waiting for them to call us as to when the liner they had ordered had come in, we found out that they had called days before but it was the old number. The only other problem was that when they reinstalled the fireplace door, it was not fastened correctly and was a 1-inch gap at one end of the door. We pointed that out when they returned and it was easily corrected. The men were polite and seemed competent. They only criticism there was that on more than one occasion the answer to our question was "I don't know, I have to ask the boss." All in all, we're satisfied and would use them again and recommend them to others.

Description of Work: My provider cleaned the chimney and repaired problems inside and outside. They also applied a protective coat to prevent the bricks from spauling.

Description of Work: We had to reschedule the appointment due to weather in February to March but they did not mark the date. When I called the morning of the appointment, they did not have me on their schedule but did reschedule later that morning and were on time. I am considering using them for follow on work.

Description of Work: Promptly returned initial call and set up appointment to suit my schedule. Basic chimney service performed and damaged cement chimney top needed repair. All work was performed quickly and efficiently. Good customer service. Operators were very polite and took care to explain everything.
