Description of Work: ChimneyTEK sent out technician to provide estimate on chimney repairs. However after tech left I noticed he had dented my gutter with his ladder. I called company and explained what happened. Rep from company told me to email photos of damaged gutter and Vince the owner would call me back. Vince called back shortly thereafter and said he would take care of it. He works closely with Nichols Brothers construction and they would call me directly to arrange for the repair. Tom Nichols called the next day and the entire 24 foot gutter was replaced A few days later. No questions, no hassle, Vince and Tom were great!

It did not occur
Description of Work: Scheduled appointment to inspect and give estimate for repair of fireplace. They could not give me an appointment for sooner than two weeks so I took it. I waited for them to come today and got a call half way through the appointment time telling me their truck had broken down and they would have to reschedule for another week later. I canceled. I have not had use of my fireplace waiting on the appointment and then they wanted to reschedule for another week later which was not acceptable.

Description of Work: Last year they did great. This year the guy they sent said there was a bird nest in our chimney and that he couldn't clean it, and left. Looking for another sweep that knows how to clean chimneys.

I am sorry we did not meet your expectations, however safety is the utmost importance to us. As I spoke to you on the phone when I was there, I explained that the chimney was in such bad shape that if I did sweep it the pipes could come apart. I explained to you that the chimney needed to be replaced. Again I apologize that we did not meet your expectations, but again we have to make sure that we are safe, and keep you home safe and clean .

Description of Work: Due to lack of communication between the site visit person and the actual technician, some of the work could not be done. The technician was very skilled but showed up at 2 pm when they were scheduled between 8:30 am - 10:30 am. I called the office at 11:30 and was told they were about an hour away. Lack of communication overall seems to be their issue.
