Two young men came promptly to my home and immediately got to work. They took their time and also took photos of the work they performed. Because I have a lined chimney I didn't think I needed my chimney swept, but it did need a cleaning. They showed me a couple of things that needed repair (a crack on the outside of the chimney) and they gave me the cost for the repair. There was no pressure selling or scare tactics. They simply let me know it was needed and if I wanted it done they will follow up with a call and set a time. They did exactly that. I would use this company again.

He was quick and efficient and clean. The technician pointed out a couple of cracks in my fire place. HE said I should watch them, if they get any wider than a nickel, then I should have more extensive repairs done.

Badly. I was not happy with the job. First of all the advertistment said $149 for (4) hours of work for masonary repairs. When they can out to review the job they told us that it would be an additional $700 to complete the work. The quality of work was substandards. It was sloppy work and not neatly done, corners were not finish off and there were open spaces between the bricks.

They just wanted to much to do the job. No other fault.

OK; Crew recommended more work to do on the spot

Recommended waterproofing exterior of chimney and spray lining of chimney interior. We could not find the right environmental conditions to do the recommended work. Eventually I no longer heard from the company. I waterproofed the exterior myself and I will consider other options concerning spray lining materials offered by other companies.

I’m not sure what they did. I didn't like that they were trying to sell me more things. They tried to get me to spend $3000 because my chimney was cracked. I was told by someone that it wasn't something that I didn't need. They added something to the service.

they said they would arrive between 8-10 and they arrived at 9. Charlie was very professional, made sure I understood the repairs they felt would be necessary to make my home safe.

They were responsive with scheduling and they were punctual to the appointment. When they came for the job, they didn’t bring out the proper size ladder. They were unable to get their eye-line up to the very top of the chimney and could only take photos of the areas to complete the inspection. They were never able to complete the sweep because when they took apart the flue in the basement, they noticed that there was a bit of crumbling tile. They recommended putting a liner in because of what they found. They had thought completing the sweep would cause more damage. We later hired them for the repairs.

We previously used them through a Big Deal for a chimney inspection and we hired them for the work that they found needed to be completed. It was winter and there was a lot of snowfall. Vincent kept in very good touch with us and was flexible with rescheduling. They completed the job in about two days. Any issues we had on the final look of the chimney crown were corrected. He had his crew come out and repair it without any issues at all. Vincent was very professional as well as responsive.

They were able were able to come within a few days of my call. The two young guys who came were professional and neat; they were able to satisfy my chimey-cleaning needs. They were prompt.

They originally came to do a sweep and inspection on both of our chimneys. We had purchased the Big Deal for the fireplace chimney and when I talked to Vince he said he would do the furnace chimney for another $99. They showed up within the time frame they gave us and immediately impressed us when they said that the furnace chimney was not in need of a sweep and that they would only charge us to inspect it. Both chimneys required new liners and additional other work which we scheduled. We were scheduled for 2 days but due to bad weather it took longer. We were given the $100 credit toward masonry work that needed to be done on the fireplace chimney. The crew that did the work were very polite and professional and they did a good job of cleaning up after the work was done.

I purchased the $99 chimney sweep and inspection deal on June 4, 2014. Vince emailed me within 2 days of my purchase and ask that I contact him to schedule. When I purchased the deal, it asks me to provide three dates and times for the work. I don't understand why it asks for this and then you have to call and schedule anyhow. The work was scheduled to be performed on June 20, 2014 between 8-10 am. At approximately 9:30 am, Vince called stating he had equipment issues and would have to reschedule. He said he'd call later that day to reschedule. On June 23, 2014, I followed up with Vince to reschedule on July 18, 2014. On 7/16/2014, I called Vince to see if I was the first appointment on 7/18. He said I was and that they would be there between 8-10 am. He advised that they usually leave the office around 7:30 am. Chimney Tek arrived between the time frame given. Although the techs were there just prior to 10 am, I anticipated they would arrive closer to 9 am given my conversation with Vince. The techs were friendly and polite. The chimney was dirtier than we had anticipated. We recently purchased the house and was told that the chimney had been swept the year before. The techs said that the chimney had not been swept for a long time. This was disappointing and could have caused a fire. The techs were very careful not to allow dust in the house. They thoroughly cleaned the area when they were done. They also inspected the masonry and flue; both were in good shape. We appreciate their effort in getting the chimney thoroughly clean. The next cleaning should be a breeze thanks to these guys. We recommend Chimney Tek and will use them a again. The $99 sweep is a good deal!

The service was great and they did everything really well. They were supposed to follow up with an estimate to my email and I never heard back from them, but I did not follow up with them again. I was very happy with them. They cleaned everything up when they were done and you would not even know they were there. They came when they said they were going to come and did what they said they were going to do.

After a couple of times because of the bad weather, on the third try the weather was perfect. The technicians arrived slightly early. After the initial inspection and sweep, they indicated that the crown was cracked which I remembered when I had my home inspector indicate to me but never got around to it, and presented to fix it at my leisure. I had them all do it while they were here, and everything was done promptly. They cleaned themselves before they left and everything went smoothly.

It was alright. Scheduling was easy initially. We had scheduled for them to come back to do the additional work but their truck broke down and we rescheduled but it was a no-show situation and I let them know I wasn’t interested in working with them at that point.

It was fine. There were some additional fees for the repairs. They took pictures to show us what it looked like up there, before and after.

No work was completed other than the inspection. Scheduling was fine and he gave me an estimate. I also got estimates from two other companies.

Rick was very responsive. We were on a tight timeline because we were selling our house, and the inspection report required several items to be fixed prior to closing. Rick did a great job and worked within our time constraints.

I could not review them as promptly as you wanted because, although they promised the work would be done the week of June14th, I had to call Monday June 23rd to remind them. They then scheduled me for the next day. They were also willing to give me the flue cleaning offer now on. The price stated was in addition to the original offer accepted.

They did everything they were supposed to do & came when they were supposed to. They identified several problems that needed attention. They had to order a part that was to take about a week. The gentleman was able to get the part much sooner & come back to install it the next day. He was huge help! It worked out very well.

This job kept running into unseen problems which raised my costs and the length of time it took to complete the job to a higher level than expected. That said, the operator was polite and willing to do whatever he could to keep me happy.

The job was done professionally.

It went very well. The contractor was polite, timely and professional and did everything he said he would do at no additional cost.

They were on-time, professional and did the requested work. They took pictures and showed me what the chimney looked like inside. That was cool. Of course, they recommended repair work that was estimated at around $2,000-$3,000. We were moving, so we left the information for the future owners.
