BEWARE of Chem-Dry of Annapolis Carpet Cleaning SCAM as they will PROMISE YOU THE WORLD on their website ([*** Link removed ***] ([*** Link removed ***] and PRODUCE VERY LITTLE RESULTS. If you don’t mind hiring a company who has no problem with FRAUD and FALSE ADVERTISING, feel free to contract with them. Also, CORPORATE CHEM-DRY WILL NOT ASSIST WITH MESSES Chem-Dry Franchisee’s make, NOR WILL THEY STAND-BY THEIR “SATISFACTION GUARANTEE” which is documented on their Website. Here is what took place….I scheduled with Josh for the MOST EXPENSIVE “Healthy Home Cleaning” Package for $270 which is supposed to include Pre-Inspection/Spot testing, Pre-Vacuuming, Chem-Dry Proprietary Truck Mount Hot Carbonating “Rotating Metal Feet” Extraction Machine with Power-Head, Brush/Groom Carpet Pile, Stain-Guard, Deodorizer & Sanitizer. Josh arrived on 6/1/20 @ 2pm and had FINISHED CLEANING my 1,600 sq. ft. HOUSE FULL of Wall-to-Wall carpet (2 Bedrooms, Dining Room, Living Room, Loft & Stairs) IN LESS THAN AN HOUR. I saw that he was using a silver/metal wand, used by Steam Cleaners (which they SHAME Steam Cleaners for using, when they use the same equipment), and assumed he was completing the Pre-Vacuuming step, which HE DIDN’T EVEN DO. Not only DID HE NOT COMPLETE THE Pre-Vacuuming Step; HE DID NOT EVEN PERFORM the Pre-Inspection/Spot Testing OR Brush/Groom Carpet Pile AND HE DID NOT USE THE CHEM-DRY PROPRIETARY TRUCK MOUNT HOT CARBONATING “ROTATING METAL FEET” EXTRACTION MACHINE with POWER-HEAD, which is SHOWN IN EVERY PHOTO/VIDEO ON CHEM-DRY’S WEBSITE. As he was leaving he specified that the CARPET WOULD BE DRY IN ABOUT 4 HOURS; I said “the website says CARPET WOULD BE DRY IN 2 HOURS; He said that the WEBSITE WAS OUTDATED. Feeling VERY disappointed and taken advantage of, I Emailed Josh the next day asking why he had not used the Chem-Dry Proprietary Hot Extraction Power-Head Equipment SHOWN IN EVERY PHOTO/VIDEO on his Website. Josh’s response was “We did use a truck mounted machine and we often do not use the "powerhead" for various reasons”. Since I was not getting the answers I needed, I reached out to Chem-Dry via Facebook and Messaged them requesting the Email Address for Chem-Dry Corporate. When I got no help from Corporate, I reached out for the President/CEO of Chem-Dry, and they would not give me that Email Adddress, so I messaged him via [*** Link removed ***] After several Emails and Messaging run-arounds, I requested that they ask Josh of Chem-Dry of Annapolis to Refund the $270. Their response was “ Josh is allowed to use the wand with our solutions as a method of the Chem-Dry cleaning process. I have spoken to him and unfortunately, he is not interested in refunding your money as he did clean your carpet. Josh is an individually owned and operated Chem-Dry franchisee in good standing with our corporate office and it is his prerogative to not issue you a refund. We don't perceive he has done anything untoward in this situation. While we cannot compel this franchisee to offer a refund, we also cannot provide you with the email addresses of our senior leadership. Furthermore, our marketing and advertising of our equipment is not a guarantee that that specific equipment is used universally. ” BEWARE….I posted this review in HOPES OF HELPING SOMEONE ELSE NOT GET RIPPED OFF….Wish Someone had warned me!

Chem Dry Annapolis owner, Josh is the best. Extremely easy to do business with. He scheduled my carpet cleaning quickly. He is knowledgeable, professional and his prices are very reasonable. He showed up on time and did a great job on my carpets. I highly recommend this company.

Josh was very helpful over the phone providing an estimate and setting an appointment. Doug did amazing job. He came in and quickly assessed my carpets, and provided a final quote which was inline with the estimate provided over the phone. Doug immediately got to work, was done within an hour and my carpets look amazing. Doug even got up stains that had been sitting for 4 years! I will definitely hire them again and refer them to all of my friends. Josh and Doug are extremely professional, provide a quality service.

Went great. Our carpets were pretty beat up from our animals. They came out and did all three levels of our home - took out all of the stains and dirt and the house smells much cleaner. Excellent job!

The man who came was excellent. He was professional, got the job done quickly and did a thorough job cleaning.

Very personable and professional! Will use them again. Not pushy with upgrades but wanted to make sure he was providing the best services.

It went very well. Doug was timely, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely use them again.

They were good. I had a cat who had an accident and they took care of it and actually came back out again the second time. So they did well upon their service.

The two guys were very professional and on time. Waited for me to see if I liked the finished product before they left.

They missed a few stains but overall I think they did great. We would use them again.

They crew was punctual, courteous, incredibly thorough. They made a 25 year old carpet practically brand new. During the process they raked every inch on the carpet..including the stairway. The BEST past..... it only takes an hour or so for the carpet to dry!!!!!

Went great! On time and professional, showed spots that they could not remove but very clean for the most part for our move in!

Cleaned light beige carpet in townhouse with original carpet. It looked 100 times better. Carpet had not been cleaned in 6 years. Their process uses less water, so it dries in about 2 hours.

They were great. They came on time and were fast. It was way messier than I thought it would be, but the outcome was good. They did a good job. There was a 95 percent improvement in how the sofa looked. I would recommend that people do some preparation beforehand to keep the areas protected that are around the items that are to be cleaned.

It went well and we were happy. It seems to us they were here on time, and they went right to work and we were happy with the results.

Josh was great to work with. He was able to fit into a busy moving schedule.I like Chem Dry over regular steam cleaning because the carpets are dry quicker. I had him do cleaning at 2 different places. The chem dry process works great on plush carpeting. Josh is very polite and friendly. He was on time for both appointments and I was able to leave him in the house without supervision. You won't be disappointed with Josh.

They did a great job and it went exactly as they said it would. They have their own technique for cleaning wood floors that worked well for us. It also went much faster than I expected.

Great -- really nice people on the phone and in person; called well ahead to confirm his anticipated arrival time, gave me some good tips for carpet maintenance, advised against cleaning one area rug that he said would likely bleed.
