They did not reconnect the hot water to the dishwasher. I contacted them on Friday and was given the owners cell phone number, which was not working at the time. I got a hold of him a week later, and he did not believe that his guy would do that. However, the plumber was very professional, polite and courteous.

They promptly set up an appointment. Technician was on time. Installed a gargave disposal - not a replacement, a first time installation. He made sure everything was in working order before leaving. During the installation he discovered our faucet was leaking into the area below the sink. We purchased a new faucet and hired them again to install it. All work done to satisfaction.

Called them late morning, The plumber was here by 2:00 PM and finished before 4:00 PM. A small length of a water line in the basement had to be cut out and replaced, along with replacing a toilet connection.

Alpha Plumbing did an excellent job in a fast and efficient manner. Andrew their technician was professional, friendly and worked hard, worked fast and was efficient and kept his work site cleanThey scheduled inspection for the day after their work wa done and that was completed painlessly by us, the owners.There is some remaining work that will be completed once kitchen cabinets are installed that i would have preferred to have completed now, but I do understand Alpha's rational for staging the work in this manner. We did what all of us are told to get minimum of three bids and only Alpha responded quickly and regularly throughout the estimate, proposal, acceptance and installation phases of the job and provided a very respectable price for the work completed. Other plumbing vendors provided extremely high prices, either because they were not interested in the work, or from our homeowner's vantage point were hoping we would accept the high price because we did not go to the effort of getting multiple bids. Alpha responded to our call after 6pm and told us they would be able to come the next day. They called to reconfirm about 7:30 am. Gary arrived early. He diagnosed the cause of our leak and fixed it promptly and neatly. I had him look at thee other toilets and replace those seals as well. He found a stripped bolt on one of the toilets. Gary did a great job. He explained what had likely caused the problem (toilet plunging) and was very courteous. GREAT JOB!!!!

They are very good and I would recommend them to anybody. They perform quality work. Their price was a little high but was worth it according to me. The people performed the work were good. They took information and came when they said they were going to come. I would use them again in the future.

The only complaint I have is that the owner has not gotten back to me to follow up as I was told he would.

Andrew arrived on time and after I showed him where the problem was, he went right to work and repaired the leaky pipe. He cleaned up after the job and was very courteous and professional. Excellent work and completed in about twenty minutes. Would definitely recommend and use again.

I had a good experience with Alpha Plumbing. Dan came out to check out the situation on the same day that I called to report a problem with the water in our home. We are on well water and the water was coming through with sediment and had a brownish reddish tinge to it. He identified the issue as a cracked well line in, gave an estimate and returned first thing the next morning with a co-worker to get the job done. I was pleased that they could respond so quickly. Had I been home when the work was completed, I would have asked for a more detailed invoice. I could not tell exactly what I was being charged for (e.g. breakdown of labor, materials, etc.). Next time I will ask for this clarification. Overall, I was happy with the experience and I would use them again.

I was very pleased with Alpha Plumbing. This was not an emergency call, but they were able to come to my home the very day I called which was nice! Dan came out the first day. He answered all my questions and explained everything I needed to know about purchasing a new faucet for the laundry room. He did a great job fixing the leaky powder room faucet. Since he was already scheduled for the next day, Buddy came out the second day to install the new laundry room faucet. He did a great job installing the laundry room faucet. Both men were prompt and courteous. I was impressed with how quickly they were both able to complete their work. Very professional! I'm very happy with the results. I will definitely call them again for any future plumbing needs.

They arrived within 6 hours of my call, checked all of the connections and made some common sense recommendations as to what I needed to do. The workman was courteous, fast, and left me feeling much more comfortable with my plumbing. Great service, great price.

He showed up bright and early and got straight to work. He pulled the toilet, cut out the old cracked pipe, recut the new pipe, and put everything back together again. And while doing all that he managed to fix my storm door to keep it from slamming! Gary was great and so is Alpha plumbing; I will deffinitely use them for ALL of my plumbing needs. :)

Everything went very smooth from start to finish. Both Charles and John, whom I spoke with on the phone, were very professional and courteous.

Technician was prompt and professional. Explained everything he was doing, why he was doing it, what the result was, the recommended repair and why it was recommended. Performed repairs to toilet and shower. Examined kitchen sink and said there was no repair needed. Was very happy with services received and would highly recommend.

They were able to come out the same day, so very responsive. The original appointment time slipped by four hours, which was annoying, but not unrealistic since they provided same day service. The reparman came out, did the job professionally, gave us some advice and departed.

We realized late Monday that one of our basement sump pumps was running continuously. On Wednesday, we contacted Alpha Plumbing and the sump pump was replaced on Friday morning. The job was completed in under an hour and we were very pleased with the result.

There are no other plumbers in Maryland. The crew from Alpha were prompt, professional, courteous, efficient, clean. They explained everything in terms I could understand. I thought the price for the work done was very reasonable.

I couldn't have been more pleased. I called Alpha Plumbing to correct plumbing mistakes left by another plumber who refused to return my calls. Dan, who came to the house, was professional and competent, quickly diagnosing the multiple problems with my newly renovated guest bathroom and quickly remedying each one. This shower in this bathroom had been "out of order" for a month now; the family is thrilled to have it back in great working order. I would unhesitatingly call this company back!g

I called Alpha about a clogged toilet on a Friday morning before a 3-day holiday, after a competitor that is also on Craig's List told me they could not get to my house until the following Tuesday. Not only did Alpha get a plumber to my house same day, they got one out within the hour. Within two hours, the problem was resolved. The technician was very professional, courteous, competent, and patient with my questions. I think the price was fair. In my twenty years of home ownership, this may be my best home service experience. I am writing this on the day of the repair, looking forward to a relaxing 3-day weekend rather than a weekend with a closed-off, out-of-service bathroom on my main floor.

We called Alpha last evening; they returned our call this morning and Buddy was here at 11:30. We showed him what we wanted done, with the drain cleaning the first on the list. He cleaned the drains and gave us an estimate for the next chore, which should be completed this week. I paid for the work done and he left. He was very professional, kind to my dogs, and efficient in his work.

Alpha Plumbing was prompt with regards to all the services performed. They explained everything they were doing, which was especially important to me, since I had do the job remotely, since this is an investment property and I was in the northeast on business at the time. They were also flexible regarding payment options and could take a credit card over the phone. I'm not sure whose fault it was exactly, but the only hiccup was when they accidentally cut the Verizon FIOS line for my tenant. Verizon fixed that the same day, and it wasn't a huge deal, though--and I don't know if Verizon didn't mark the line properly. I got a quote from another plumber, and their rates were a fair bit lower, so their prices seem competitive.

Their price might have been a little high. They charge by the hour and it seemed like their plumber took a little longer than he should have. Other than that I was satisfied with the work.

After reading a Washington Post article listing the qualified local installers of the new water-powered sump pump backup system, we researched the same companies on Angie's list and hired Alpha Plumbing to do the work. From beginning to end, we had a great experience. The installation was very professional and now after our basement flooded this past August from the hurricane, we now have a system where we are able to leave the house for an extended period of time and do not have to worry that something bad is happening in the basement - especially the cost of repairs these days - we had to replace all the carpeting and drywall up to 12 inches all the way around a finished basement and don't want to do that ever again! I would definitely hire this company again for any plumbing requirements - felt that they were very honest and replied to all our email questions.

I was very pleased. I would definitely have them back out again.
