Gary came out and he was wonderful-- very friendly and kind. He had to chip away at the concrete in the wall behind the tub (our house was built in 1950) in order to get the faucet out and it was pretty hard work. My only negative was the cost! I felt it was a little high but had no time to call around for estimates as our ceiling in the living room was dripping water! His work was good though I did notice one of the tiles around the faucet was cracked (didn't notice till after he left). On another note, a few minutes after Gary left, I flushed our toilet and water immediately started pouring out the back! I called Gary himself immediately and he drove right back out and fixed the problem (a simple issue caused by our strong water pressure- a result of shutting the water off and on to do the repair). He didn't charge me and went above and beyond to help me, a dunce at this kind of stuff. So if you want great Customer Service, this company is excellent!

During the "Frankenstorm" I realized by sump pump was running but wasn't removing any water from the pump well. Alpha was here within an hour (earlier than expected) after my call and replaced my sump pump and check valve in less than an hour. Alpha charged a fair price (during a weather emergency) and the plumber (Chris) was courteous and efficient. I will certainly use them again.

While Alpha wasn't able to send someone out to my house tonight, the man who answered the phone did tell me how to locate my main water shut-off and in doing so saved me thousands in damage and an inestimable amount of sanity. He was also able to diagnose the my problem over the phone, and to recommend both do-it-yourself and professional solutions. I went the professional route, as the risks of doing otherwise seemed rather high, and would have happily used Alpha if they'd have had an appointment available tonight. If the guy I talked to is any indication, this company knows what it's doing.

Great experience. From arrival time to installation and clean up there could not have been better service. The work performed created minimal disturbance to the yard and existing landscape. Other estimates suggested the removal of bushes and front stoops and Alpha plumbing arrived and performed the services without damaging or removing a single bush.

Our old water softener decided to bypass the bypass and leak into our finished basement. We were lucky there was not too much damage. We called our usual plumber and received no response. We called two other plumbers that were highly rated on Angie's list, neither company was able to provide a plumber on short notice. We then called Alpha Plumbing and spoke to a live person on the first call. There were able to send someone out within 2 hours. Buddy was the plumber they sent and he was right on time. He was very friendly, professional and wasted no time fixing our issue. He was in and out within the hour and we were able to start the clean-up. The price seemed to be about what I would expect to pay for a short notice house call. We were very pleased with Alpha and Buddy. I will definitely use Alpha in the future and recommend them to my neighbors.

The water line between the house and the meter at the street was leaking badly. Alpha Plumbing responded immediately to my late night e-mail request for service. They arrived the next morning, determined the problem, gave me an estimate and explained the procedure. The crew was professional and included us every step of the way. Because the primary leak appeared to be under the driveway we knew there was a possibility that the driveway would have to be broken up if they could not get the missile through the heavy mud. The crew was able to use another technique without damaging the driveway. All the holes were filled in and the area was restored to the best of their ability.......crisis averted!

They were very easy to work with, very nice, very thorough, did an excellent job. We like them and would recommend them.

I called Alpha Plumbing and described the problem and someone came the very next day at 9am. He arrived on time and quickly surveyed the issue. However, the indoor bleed valve was leaking and the rear spout had cracked, perhaps because of being left open during a winter (this is a new home that I'm in the process of moving into). The technician (Gary) was on top of it and easily changed out the damaged parts. What I really appreciate is the honesty of this company's employees. They are straightforward with you about what you need and don't need. Other companies would have ripped me off by doing some unnecessary work, while Gary simply got a different set of pliers to pull the pipe out of the exterior back wall. They will definitely be the first plumbing I call in the future - despite the fact that I have a home warranty service.

Called and left a message with Alpha Plumbing on Monday evening, and they called back around 8am the next morning. Scheduled to have a plumber stop by between 1-3 the same day. Plumber arrived on-time, and was professional and patient (with all my questions!) He took a look and suggested either retightening the nut around the valve or getting the galvanized pipe replaced with pvc. I asked to have it replaced. It took the plumber about 1 hour to cut off the galvanized pipe, replace the interior water valve and the exterior spigot. Everything is done quickly and efficiently. He did not leave a mess for me to clean! The only thing that came up which I do NOT believe is the fault of the plumber, is while removing the galvanized piping, he inadvertently removed the ground wire that was attached from my electrical panel box. He told me about the situation and advised me to contact an electrician to have it corrected. Just a FYI if you are getting any galvanized piping removed, BE sure to have them check for the ground wire if it is close to the electrical panel. I highly recommend Alpha Plumbing for their workmanship, professionalism and courtesy. They are one of the few contractors that actually arrived 20 minutes after the suggested time period. (1-3, he arrived 1:20!) Kudos to that! I've also recommended them to a friend who just had excellent service with them this morning. :)

They are really professional and polite. They show up on time, they are very helpful, and get the job done.

Everything went very well, from the call for service to the arrival of the plumber to the repair. They were fast, fair and honest.

They did an excellent job, finishing in one day. The pump got a real workout after the wind storm on June 20th and it came through with flying colors.I will definitely use Alpha Plumbing again if need be.

They have been very good to us over the years. They have gone above and beyond in some situations to help us get things figured out. They are very good.

We called Alpha plumbing earlier in the week when we realized we had a leak in a pipe. They actually had somebody in the area and offered to be at our house within half an hour, but unfortunately we were calling from work and could not be there for that. Alternate time arrangements were made for two days later (it was a slow leak that was not an emergency.) On the designated day the plumber arrived withing 45 minutes after confirming by telephone that somebody was in the residence. He was professional and friendly and immediately got to work. The repair took less than half an hour start to finish. We had cleared the area we knew he would be working in, but he also made sure to clean up after he was done and left no trash or debris behind. This is a no brainer, i would definetely use again!

I went with a water powered sump pump because there is no battery to replace or maintain and we are on city water. The estimate required a $59 service visit fee. The installation took about 5 hours to complete. The plumber described how the system operated and demonstrated how to to test the system. He was very professional. I would definitely use Alpha in the future.

We found Alpha Plumbing on Angie's List, we love them. They are great. We had a serious plumbing issue last year and they fixed it but it was not completely fixed so we called them back. They came back out and fixed it without charging us because they said they should have fixed it right the first time, I was very pleased.

I originally called them because there was water leaking out of my siding behind the kitchen sink! I had suspected a leak, but wasn't sure where it was coming from. Alpha plumbing arrived the day after I called, and discovered the leak was in the pipes IN the wall behind the dishwasher; apparently it had been leaking for a while. He pulled out the d/w, repaired/replaced the pipe in the wall (drain pipe), and then tested everything.In the process of testing, he discovered water leaking from the cast iron drain pipe that runs the length of the house. Upon closer inspection, all of the copper waste pipe had soft spots. He called the owner, who said they would be out to fix it the next day. Originally I was told the cost would be about $3,000, because they had to open up the drywall ceiling on the finished side of the basement; however, it turned out to be only $2k, because the waste pipe on that side had already been replaced with PVC, so only 2 "view" holes were made in the ceiling. They were done ahead of time (took about 6 hours with 2-3 guys). The guys were all professional, friendly and worked quickly and efficiently. Owner called to make sure I was happy with the work and price.

He came out on a weakend, found the source of the problem, explained the issues to us completely and intelligently, made a temporary repair, later gave us an estimate on a more complete repair to prevent future problems at the same site, and the work was completed on time. We were very happy with the service overall. We never got the feeling that we were being pressured into doing more work that we needed, and the cost was very reasonable

They came out the day after I called and the job took about 3 hours. There was an issue with fitament of the stove that started to bug me after a few days. I called them up and they came out the same day and fixed it without complaint. Fair price, would use again.
