We used Alpha for our rental. They repaired the toilet and hooked up a new ice maker line. They are fast, polite and the prices are fair. Don't hesitate to call this company.

As always with services, you expect the little problem will turn into a big issue and cost a lot. It wasn't. The issue with the leak was a small part that costs no more than $3 and the replacement of the toilet part was minimal too. I was very satisfied that overall promptness, professionalism, and honesty made a huge difference. I now Alpha Plumbing on my contact list. I have another issue now and I just called and booked an appointment for another fix. Can't go wrong with this company.

They arrived on time and explained all details. They stayed an hour and their charges were fair.

One weekend I went to my utility room to do some laundry, and found water gushing from the top of the water heater. I called Alpha on Monday, but they weren't able to come until Tuesday. They quoted me the installed prices for various sizes over the phone, and I made the appointment. The plumber showed up on time and installed the new water heater in a couple of hours. The final cost was exactly what I had been quoted.

Sewer line backed up on a Sunday, caused major water damage to my first floor bathroom and basement. Had Roto Rooter snake drain and located two segments of roots growing into the system. Obtained 5 estimates for the work from big companies and small. Alpha Plumbing came through again with the most reasonable price and was able to get the job done quickly. They provided me with their estimate on Monday, had their guy Dan camera the line and do some markings on Tuesday, and the three-man crew with backhoe and shovels came out and did the job on a Wednesday (from start to finish, job took about 6 hours). Front lawn is pretty much ruined right now, but nothing I can do about that until fall. I've used Alpha a few times before on small service call jobs; after this job, I really won't consider calling others. Best in town - call them first time, every time.

Excellent service. The estimate on the phone was spot on the final cost, they were timely, did an excellent job and overall went above and beyond what was initially asked. There will not be a question who I call for any future jobs; great company.

I cannot begin to recommend this company highly enough. I will recommend them to all my friends, and that's why I'm making the effort to come here and tell you all about them. Like another reviewer said, they were courteous, on-time, honest, respectful to me (and my home). By far, the best plumber I've worked with so far. They gave me a time and and call me 30 minutes before they were suppose to showed up. The plumber (Buddy) went right to work. He was fast and very professional doing his job. What could be better? I will be using Alpha Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs.

Scheduled job a couple days ahead. Plumber (Chris) came as scheduled, did the job, cleaned up nicely, took away old toilets and faucet. No hassles, no complaints.

as I called Alpha Plumbing on the morning of July 23, after noticing that the electric hot water heater in the basement was beginning to leak. We talked briefly about the options my wife and I had. They recommended against a tankless hot water heater, having found that they just don't deliver the cost savings promised and sometimes don't supply the continuous stream of hot water that a hot water heater with a tank does. They came out the afternoon of that same day, disconnected and removed our old hot water heater, and installed a new one. So far, we've had no leaks and no trouble -- everything seems to be working exactly as expected.

I called Alpha Plumbing at 8:30 am and they came out that afternoon to replace my leaking 30 gallon water heater with a 40 gallon one. They also told me that they would have to install an expansion tank, as per new code. The total job took 2.5 hours, which included draining of the old tank, re-routing of copper pipes, and installation of water heater and expansion tank. The installer walked me through the process and answered all questions that I had afterward. We used a bigger name plumber within the last 6 months, but after this experience, we will definitely call Alpha Plumbing for our future needs because of their professionalism and attention to detail.

They were prompt, very knowledgable, and very professional. I wanted a permit and they took care of that for me. They were very proactive and took care of extra things that needed to be done. I didn't get any hassle from them.

Chuck, the owner, came out to provide the estimate, he was very polite and professional. In order to provide the estimate he needed to image the line in order to confirm the work needed to be done and to mark the yard where there was damage to the line; this would also assist any other plumber in the event we did not contract his company. Additionally, the imaging of the line and estimate were free of charge. Chuck provided us with two estimates, one would involve removing a large oak tree (~$1500), the other estimate, which was higher, would save the tree as they would use a pipe busting technique to run the sewer line. Once we contracted Alpha Plumbing to do the job Chuck gave us several phone calls to update us on when his crew would arrive to do the work, as our job was pending the completion of another project they were completing. Prior to the day the work was to be done Alpha pulled the necessary permits and called to have Miss Utility mark our yard. The day of the job, Chuck arrived with his crew and introduced me to the job supervisor. The two-man crew went to work and finished the job prior to 5pm. Every aspect of the process was professional and neat!! To top it off Alpha plumbing was about $1000 less than an estimate from another company.

Very easy to schedule the work, and plumber showed up on time, and worked very hard to finish the work as quickly as possible, even after running into some unexpected problems removing the old toilets. Customer service, actual service, and price were all great.

Prompt, professional, and quick. Asked about another problem and he offered some advice about how to fix it.

Technician arrived on time, checked everything out, described what he needed to do, did it, tested the connections and cleaned up. Work was done quickly and professionally and technician was courteous and helpful. I highly recommend this company.

Service was excellent from the moment I contacted them until they finished the job

I was unable to be home while the service was performed - they only work weekdays, and I don't have any paid leave. I was contacted Monday morning after sending an email request for service on Sunday. I was able to use their online scheduling system to set up an appointment (I tried to set it up for 5PM since it allowed me to select that time, but was told via voicemail that they stopped working at that time, so my request was invalid). We worked out a time (2:30PM) over the phone the next day. My wife was home when the technician arrived. She said he went right to work repairing the copper tubing after a quick initial description of the problem. He finished within an hour, and charged a fair price for materials (about $10). I have since tested his work on this sillcock and it is great - it doesn't leak, and flows perfectly. He even sealed it into the side of the house with a nice silicone sealant, exactly what I would have used. Next, he went up to the bathroom and diagnosed the leaky shower. He took off the drain cover and resolved that the problem was probably the seal between the PVC pipe and the pan where the rubber gasket was. He recommended to my wife that we use sealant on the seams between the gasket and pan and pipe after letting it dry. He also closely examined my sealing job between the pan and the wall and confirmed that it was done correctly and looked good. We're currently testing my new sealant job and so far so good - it was exactly the advice we needed to continue fixing the shower ourselves, and we'll know who to call if we run into something we can't handle. Overall I'm extremely impressed - the job was done correctly, quickly and for less money than I anticipated (was planning on around $300). I will be using Alpha for all my plumbing needs for the time being.

I called to setup an appointment for an estimate and the very nice person on the phone (Stephanie) was able to give me the estimate right then over the phone. She gave me several different size and warranty options. I hung up with her and thought about the options for about five minutes then called back to setup an installation appointment. I also emailed them with a few questions and Stephanie got back to me very promptly. On the installation day Buddy called me about an hour before he showed up to let me know he was on his way. I showed him where the water heater was located and we went over the work to be done and the cost. He was very nice, he did a quick visual inspection of the nearby plumbing and told me that the connections between the copper and PVC looked good. After that, he got right to work removing the old tank and installing the new one. It took about 2 hours total.

The plumber was scheduled to arrive between 1 and 3 and arrived promptly at 1:00, including a phone call to verify that we were ready for him. He cut a reasonably sized hole in our basement ceiling and found the leak in just a few minutes and was able to show me the specific copper pipe that was leaking. It then took a bit over one hour for him to remove the damaged pipe and install new pipe, making sure that all the faucets in the house ran after turning the water back on without causing any leakage in the same location. He was extremely courteous and professional and left the work area completely clean. I would absolutely use Alpha Plumbing again!

I had made the mistake to not ask how much they charged per hour. He finished the job and it took him about 15 minutes, then he went to his car to get the paperwork for about 20 minutes. I did not think it was fair to charge me for the time to gather the paperwork when he only took 15 minutes to fix the sink. The service performed was fine and the owner did give me a little discount after I voiced my opinion.

The plumbing backed up in our house two weeks ago. I called Len the Plumber to unclog it. After unclogging the sewer line ($450), they ran a camera down the line (included in the price). I could see the tree roots that caused the blockage in my sewer line. They told me I needed to have that section replaced. Len the Plumber also showed me the camera view of the cast iron line going to the county sewer connection - they recommended getting that done too. Len the Plumber estimate to replace the cracked sewer line section: $2500, to replace the rest of the line: $3000 for a total cost of $5500. I called Alpha Plumbing for a second estimate. Chuck Taylor came out the afternoon I called and was very helpful. He agreed the section with the tree root needed to be replaced and the clean outs needed to be raised to ground level. However, he did not feel the rest of the line needed to be replaced. He said, cast iron pipes look rough inside and that as long as the camera didn't go under water and there were no signs of breaks in the pipe - there is no need to replace it. Alpha plumbing estimate for the repair: $1800. The Alpha crew showed up on time. Even called 30 minutes prior to say they were on the way. They were very professional. Even when during digging for the pipe, they encountered a 4'x4' cement cover and concrete blocks a previous owner put over the cast iron clean out, they had no problem dealing with it. The job was done quickly. They did their best not to destroy any more of my lawn than they absolutely needed. They even smoothed out the tractor tread lines in the grass and raked the area. The crew removed not only the old cast iron pipes, but also the cement blocks, concrete slab and huge tree roots they had to dig up. I'm now a big fan of Alpha Plumbing and highly recommend Chuck Taylor and his crew.
