Same day quotes and even same day service! Super easy, accommodating and nice! This is the type of service companies should strive for, all at a great price. I received a few quotes and Alpha offered the best deal. I would definitely call them next time I need a plumber!

They came the day after I hired them. They originally thought they would have to dig up both part of my driveway and my beautiful walkway. After examine the sewer pipe with a camera they decided that they could just dig up my drive and not the walkway. I really appreciate their thoughtfulness and consideration. I got quotes from four plumbers; $6,000, $4,100, $3,800 and $3,600. Alpha was not only the lowest but they had a $100 coupon on Angies's list which reduced the price to $3,500. Great prompt service from the most cost effective provider. This works for me!!!!

This is the third time using this company and I can't say enough good about them. From the first phone call speaking with John and scheduling the appointment to having the work done by Brian, this is one professional company. Discussed with Brian what we wanted to have done and he jumped right in and started working. Since this is an older house, there were a couple of unexpected things that needed to be repaired but Brian was very knowledgeable and took it all in stride and handled everything very pleasantly.

I called 2 days before the appointment and was able to get an 8:30 am appointment. plumber called when he was 20 minutes away, arrived right on time and went right to work. He was very personable and professional and did the job in about 25 minutes. He also took the time to check for about 5-10 minutes to make sure there were no leaks on the replaced valve or anywhere else under the sink. He didn't try to upsell me or sell me anything else. I would definiteley use them again

Called them at 1:00 pm and had they had a person outby 2:00pm. They quickly found the cause of my leak and repaired. From the time I called until the job was finished less than 2 1/2 hours. Great job. Will use them again. Mike

Great service! Fast, friendly and thorough. John called me within hours of my message thru Angie's List with availability same day. We selected a time the following day. The plumber called 30 minutes before arriving and he arrived right in time. He kept me informed of everything he was doing as he was doing it at my request. I asked for advice going forward and he had no issue repeating his recommendations as I tried to be sure I had it all written down correctly to advise my husband.

New Kohler toilet is quiet, efficient and love the higher height.

Excellent experience; scheduled a same day appointment for quotation, after checking several other companies I scheduled the replacement for a couple days later. Alpha had an emergency job come up but kept our appointment. The guys arrived on time, were polite and professional, and worked with me to get the exact results I wanted regarding details like cleanout location, landscaping finishing, etc. Gave a lot of good info on steps to take to get the grass back to normal. When inspecting inside the house, the crew even took their shoes off without being asked. The guys dealt with some extra underground cabling that BGE missed without hassle. Price blew away the other quotes I got, and prompt scheduling was great too. Will definitely hire them again and/or recommend them to others.

Three workers arrived on time at 9:30 and ready to begin. One was to start the plumbing inside which consisted in removing three vanities and replace with new one. The other two workers went outside to evaluate how the work was going to be done. Chuck who had given me an estimate a week prior had already marked the location of the pipe to be replaced and because he used a camera to determine where the roots were in the pipe he was able to quote me a much lower price than the other I had called before. The camera investigation in the whole length of the sewer cost $400 and I thought that it was a bit pricey but well worth I was quoted $2000 more to do a pipe bursting on the whole 120 Feet line. That would have been a waist of my money since the sewer line was clean after the first damaged and rooted 30 feet. This crew replaced the damaged line in the good old traditional way; by digging and replacing old damaged pipes with new PVC pipes. I was very happy about the fact that it saved me $2,000 from other quotes. The two jobs went very smoothly and everything was clean when they were done. Very respectful and polite. I already recommended them to two persons who are going to hire him to instal gas line. So don't hesitate to contact them. It is so hard to find honest plumbers these days. The plumber augured three times, but eventually had to remove the toilet to extract the trap. It went quickly and the cost was on par with the estimates. The plumber was professional and courteous. I would definitely use them again.

Alpha showed up on time and the crew started promptly. The plumber removed the 60 year old cast iron piping and brought the interior up to code. The outside crew had a difficult time with the hard clay soil, it took two days for them to complete the hook -up to the county system. One of the crew left to take care of a water main break and the remaining two did not complete the backfill on Friday. They left mounds of dirt on the side and rear lawns over the weekend, of course it rained heavily on Saturday. Half the driveway was covered with mud Saturday night and the clay soil was impossible to remove once it was soaked. The soil was still hard packed mud on Monday when the crew returned. They completed the backfill of the dry well and trench but left many areas of loose soils and rocks. The grading was sloppy at best and there are still clumps of muddy soil in the driveway. I mentioned this to the lead man but I could tell from his answers he felt no obligation to address my concerns. My plan is the wait a day or two for the ground to dry out, rent a skid loader, tamp the soil and properly grade the area.

The tech was very courteous and knowledgeable. We told him we were on a budget and he explained everything before he started a new part of the service that would cost an additional amount of money. I am thrilled with the service and will use them again.

Notified me where the leak was coming from also asked me to see where the leak was coming from. (Very good) Informed me of the cost for the repair. Repaired the leak. Informed me of possible leak problems in the near future. Advised me how to get rid of water in basement. Very professional. Will definite call for his service again in the near future.

Called Alpha and the owner responded right away. (Found out later he was on a camping trip with his sons) Crew came out the next day and started the ball rolling on installing new pipes. They were professional and efficient. My water was back on w/in 48 hours. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Alpha was good. It cost a little more than what I was planning on, but it was the same as the estimate up front. For same-day work as the estimate on new years eve, I can't complain. Would definitely use again.

Called Alpha Plumbing (John) in the morning, detailed the work I needed, and he explained some possibilities & prices for the sink faucets. He said I'd get a call between 1-3 p.m., and I did, with the plumber on his way. Dan, the plumber, carried out all the work, after I provided the tour of the three different "concerns" in 3 different rooms. The only surprise was when he opened up the old faucet for repair & we discovered that the hardware on the cold water side had rusted out, confirming the need for a new faucet we had strongly suspected & had mentioned to John in the morning. The old drain trap pipe fell to pieces when Dan worked with it, and I knew already from another plumber that it was a rather old pipe that could not be cleaned out from the inside with a metal tool, or else the tool would pierce through it; so the need to replace it was not surprising. What was nice is that Dan had the perfect replacement faucet on his truck, along with the exact drain trap pipe that was needed to replace the deteriorated, fragile one. All of this great work took just over an hour, with no dilly dallying, just serious professionally done work, one thing after the other, until all 3 jobs were complete. Furthermore, Dan cleaned up after the faucet replacement, taking the trash to his truck. I didn't realize he would do this, and it was appreciated.

They were very helpful & considerate from the moment they answered the phone. They were willing to come out the same day but work around my schedule (I had a meeting at work I couldn't miss). They gave me a time frame, called when they said they would and were earlier than I had expected and they WAITED for me to get there. I was very grateful. The plumber was friendly, respectful and fast. He went over everything he found, what he was fixing and his long term recommendations. It was more affordable than I had expected, convenient and fast. I would definitely use them again.

On the 4th of July I came home to a burst, leaking, pipe spraying water in my basement. I called first thing the next morning and they were able to fit me in the same day. The gave me a 2 hour time slot, for which the plumber called and showed up right on time for the beginning of the time slot. He took the time to cut out the problem and repair the water line with copper pipe to match what was in the rest of the house. He took the time to explain what he was doing and even showed me how to fix a leaking shut off valve myself so I would not need to call if I ever had an issue with a shut off again. The experience was great and I will not hesitate to call Alpha for any further plumbing work I need done.

I called Alpha Plumbing to have them disconnected and move the water conditioner and the well pump in the basement. I was having other contractors in to do some work there and needed everything out of the way along the basement walls. Alpha Plumbing was very flexible in scheduling the work, allowing us to line everything up along the schedule of the other contractor. Alpha Plumbing even allowed us to hold two appointment slots for reconnecting everything on successive days, based on some uncertainty as to when the other contractor would be finished. Disconnecting the well pump and water conditioner took barely more than an hour, with no problems or surprises. Working on the system did reveal that the pressure gauge on the well tank was so fogged over it couldn't be read, and an insert coupling for the water pipe was fairly rusted and corroded. I agreed to have them replaced when they came back to reconnect everything. This morning, Alpha Plumbing returned, bright and early as scheduled, to reconnect our well conditioner and water pump. Reconnecting everything included replacing the pressure gauge, well pipe, and coupling, as agreed. The work took only about an hour. My wife and I are back to having running water with no sign of any leaks. Granted, this was a relatively simple job, but nonetheless an ideal experience.

We called him Tuesday and he came before noon on Friday.

Alpha was the only plumbing company that we had contacted (and we had contacted many) who would tackle our job the right way! We had trenchless contractors come out and quote this job not even knowing how deep the pipes were, the way they quoted the job, they would have only lined 1/2 the pipe. There were at least half a dozen utility lines running over top of the dig spot, so no plumbing company, except Alpha would dig. Thank goodness we chose Alpha, because when they did dig, we found out that the pipe was actually 14 ft deep. Alpha did the job the RIGHT WAY, it took them twice the amount of time and a heck of a lot of sweat, but they hung in there and did what they promised--and did it right! I would never hesitate to call Chuck and his highly skilled crew again for any kind of plumbing needed. I've learned a lesson when you need a plumbing job done to always call a licensed, EXPERIENCED PLUMBER like Alpha!! If they could do this job, they could do any job! We recommend Alpha with the highest rating possible!!
