Fixed clogged toilet as advertised

I called Alpha Plumbing on Monday morning and spoke with a very nice representative. I told her about the clog and asked if she would go over the possible cost. She explained how the process would likely go and gave me an estimate and a two-hour window when the plumber would call to let us know he was on the way. Everything went as she said it would. A very nice and capable plumber arrived and was finished in less than an hour. He left everything clean and tidy--you would have never known he had been snaking out the drain. The total cost was less than her estimate. I called them around 9:00 AM, and the drain was cleared before 1:00 PM. This will be my go-to for any plumbing needs in the future. I would highly recommend this company.

We just bought the townhouse and needed a plumber. Bobby and Matt C were very professional. They explain to me what needs to be done. While Matt C was working, Bobby went with me to the utility room and helped me to turn off the outside water supply. When the work was done, they left the working area clean. I finally found a fumbling company that I trust!

Someone drove onto my lawn and broke the clean out to the main drain. They were able to send a couple guys out the next day and make the repair. They did great work.

He showed up right on time, installed the toilet with no problems whatsoever. He also hauled away my old toilet. He did a great job. I think we may have found ourselves a new plumber!

My laundry sink was backing up every time I washed clothes or dishes. Called Alpha Plumbing and they set something up right away. Chris came out at the appointed time, snaked out the line, made some suggestions and was on his way. He was very professional, courteous and happily answered all the dumb questions I had. I could not recommend this company more, and if you get Chris, the job is going to get done promptly and efficiently. Even though I would never want to call a plumber again (because, really, no one does), if I have to, I'm definitely calling these guys.

I called Alpha Plumbing because I wanted a professional opinion on the closet flange/pipes after removing an old toilet myself. It was so old that I could not tell what was putty, what was wax, and what was rust. The representatives from Alpha Plumbing called ahead to confirm the appointment and showed up in a timely and professional manner. Once on site, they went to work immediately and were done in about half an hour (work included scraping off the excess stuff from the existing flange and then installing new toilet). It was a bit pricey, but definitely worth it.

The total time from calling Alpha plumbing to the job being complete was two hours, so they were very responsive. Buddy, the plumber, was very friendly and professional. We would definitely use them again.

Dealings with management and plumber were pleasant; they were very professional. They were also prompt and thorough. I was able to get an estimate by phone by providing a detailed list of issues. They honored the estimate. The work was of good quality. I would use them again.

Alpha Plumbing exceeded my expectations. No one wants to replace their sewer line, and needed such a job can put people on edge. Yet, Chuck and his company was excellent every step of the way. Chuck came out to give me a quote as soon as the snowy roads were passable. He was patient with all of my questions, as I had many with such a big job. Alpha Plumbing's quote was, by far, the best of the three I received. Once the quote was accepted, the work was scheduled very quickly. The crew showed up on time, and worked very hard. They were very polite, respectful, hard working, skillful, considerate of our home and very nice. They completed the whole job in one day. Our quote did not include any landscaping work, (which we knew and chose,) but even so, the front yard looked better than we expected. We've had a month for the dirt to settle, and we expected a number of sink holes from settling. Yet, we only had one small part. The crew did a wonderful job compacting the soil back into the ground. We're very happy with Alpha Plumbing. They took a challenging situation, and made it as painless as possible. Our yard is back and, best of all, our toilets flush to the sewer again, instead of our basement.

I purchased a hot water heater at Home Depot, and called the installer they referred me to. Turned out to be very high estimate. Called several other with similar estimates. Called Alpha who I used before. Since their estimate was very competitive, and since I've used them previously, I used them again. Previously they've assisted me in bathroom renovations with tub installation and a complicated toilet installation - and they did great work. Called Friday a.m., and Brian showed up several hours later, exactly on time. . He was friendly, knowledgeable and patient with my questions, and is an asset to the company. Installation went without a hitch and took several hours. He left the area spotless, and removed the old heater. This was hassle-free, expert, excellently priced service. I know I sound like I was paid to say this, but I am just a satisfied customer from Howard County.

There was a terrible, high-pitched noise when the shower was turned on. Charles provided several reasons for the noise. I opted to have both the faucet and a cartridge replaced since they were 15 years old. I don't know if one or both were causing the noise, but it is fixed! This is the second time I have used Alpha Plumbing, and I will definitely call them again for my plumbing needs. They were responsive, punctual, and professional. As a bonus, my dog loved Charles.

My kitchen faucet has been having issues for a while. It was an old faucet (from the 1980's) that was here when we bought the house. On 2/17/16, my wife advised it was leaking again. We went out and purchased a new faucet. I called at 4:30pm on Wednesday (2/17/16) and left a message on Alpha Plumbing's voice mail. I received a call back early Thursday morning (2/18/16), and Alpha Plumbing advised they could be out that morning! What service. They came and installed the new faucet without any problems. The price was very reasonable. Kudos!

Service was quick and effective. Plumber was also friendly and helpful and answered all my questions fully. Downstairs toilet was clogged bad and took a few trys with the auger to unclog. My upstairs toilet flushes a little slow and gurgles sometimes so I also had that evaluated; ultimately there was no major issue with it. Total cost $144 ($129 for deal through Angie's list including service call and 1/2 hr service, and $15 for auger fee)

They came out and verified there was an underground leak between the meter and house. They were very accommodating and fitted us in immediately. Every aspect of their work from minimizing the digging in my front to cutting the smallest hole necessary in the foundation, they were extremely professional and courteous! Explained everything they had to do from beginning to end. They cleaned up and even swept the driveway where they had to place the dirt from digging. This is a top notch company with a top notch crew!

They were okay. They were installing new kitchen hookups for a kitchen faucet. I probably would not use them again because I was disappointed that they charged by the hour not by the job. My fixture was faulty so I had to pay him while I went to the Home Depot to return the fixture. I had asked him if he could come back the next day and he said no, it would be the next week. I didn't like that he couldn't come back and waited for me to go stand in line at Home Depot to do a return and an exchange.

I used Alpha to install new fixtures in one of our bathrooms, and my experience was positive: the plumber was professional, efficient and helpful. And the fixtures worked great with no problems. For the leak issue, the plumber was on time, very efficient and communicative and was clearly genuinely interested in helping me solve this problem. Even when it became clear that it was likely related to the irrigation system (and not within Alpha's remit), he double-checked and continued testing to rule out any other source. He listened carefully and was ready to provide solutions. Scheduling an appointment was also easy on both occasions; the staff on the phone were polite and once again, professional. Alpha probably isn't the cheapest but I trust their workmanship and will use them again.

I called Alpha at 8:30am on a Monday about a broken water heater. The receptionist, who was friendly and helpful, was able to send a plumber out immediately. The plumber was extremely professional. He explained the exact problem with the heater and the recommended solution. By 10:30am the problem was fixed and the water heater was working. Total cost for one hour of labor and parts was about $260. I am extremely pleased with the prompt and professional service. I plan to use Alpha again in the future.

very easy to schedule and pay invoice. Michelle was very friendly and fast. They were able to send a plumber the same day, Service was excellent. Highly recommended.
