Great--very careful estimate and explanation of what they needed to do, very responsive re questions. We liked the estimator so much (Andrew) we asked if he could do the work, and he set that up. Andrew got the jobs done to perfection, and also his boss gave us some advice on another problem that saved us lots of time and money, for free---really decent folks all around.

Solved problem in 2 mins. Solved another issue for me to help with the "value". Very courteous and knowledgeable.

It was good. The price was a lot more than that. The guy was pretty polite and knowledgeable. It was a good experience. Price was a little bit steep.

It went in less time than I expected

Paid over $500. Main complaint is about the kitchen faucet that I asked to be replaced. The new one they put in was wobbly and seeped water. (And I paid over $100 for the faucet). When I complained they did come out to replace it (but not after trying to tell me the faucet was OK). Then the new one was over an additional $100. I was going to let the issue drop except that I went to Costco last week I saw a similar model for $69. Somehow I feel taken.

Spoke to "Michelle" of their office on Friday, 9/23/16, and she was most helpful in setting up an early appt. Brian and Mike arrived at my home on Wed, 9/28 and quickly ascertained the nature of the problem. The wax seal beneath the toilet ring needed replacing, thereby eliminating the leaking. They also replaced the apparatus within the toilet tank for more efficient operation. Both were pleasant and knowledgeable in answering my concerns and questions.

Very well. Andrew came out the day after I called. He called before coming and came on time. He fixed both issues, knew what he was doing. He had me try the outside drain handle after he first fixed it (tightened it) to see if I could turn it easily (instead of just assuming that I could do it). I couldn't turn it easily so he replaced the whole thing, with my approval. He was friendly and courteous. The woman at the Alpha office who made the appointment for me was able to give me an approximate cost for the fixes. She was definitely in the ballpark.

Plumbers took two visits and charged me for second visit because the cartridge (not a washer) in the faucet handles needed to be ordered from the supply company. Courteous and knowledgeable, but it cost me more than I expected. On the other hand, they fixed the low water pressure, so I got more work done than originally expected, and I'm happy.

Brian was wonderful. Came early, made recommendations to improve my drain system, and even gave me a lot of helpful, practical tips! He was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, and finished all this work in 2.25 hours. We will definitely use this company again.

They came in a timely manor, did a good job & was very nice to work with. We’re going to work with them soon on a different proble.

It went great. Other plumbers have manually snaked it. The last one before Bob at Alpha Plumbing wanted to run a new pipe from the room to the outdoors, damaging the deck in the process. We called John, the owner at Alpha Plumbing. He set up a date of August 2, 2016 for Bob to come. He snaked the drainage, using a machine (the first to do that). My husband was out there with him. He went 38 feet, heard a loud noise and then water shot up the pipe! We thought that fixed it. Yesterday I washed a rug. When I went to look, the floor was soaking again. I called Alpha Plumbing in a panic. They sent Mike today. He thought it sounded ok and then started draining the washing machine and it happened again. He looked at the trap and there was the end of a nylon legging attached to it. He removed it and we think it's fixed again! Fingers crossed! John told Mike to not charge us for his trip, which was wonderful! We appreciate it very much and would honestly recommend Alpha Plumbing to everyone who needs plumbing issues fixed! They're very courteous, efficient and effective! We will definitely use them in the future! The faucet was a minor issue that was rixed on August 6. Again, thank you very much!

From the moment I called Alpha Plumbing, until the crew left today, I was amazed at how great this company is! We had a water pipe break in our house a week ago and decided to get all the quest piping replaced. We were worried about all the walls being torn up and the high cost to get the job complete. Chuck dropped everything and came out to give a quote and within 2 days, the crew arrived at the house and started. The crew was very nice, courteous and did an amazing job. They even rerouted some pipes so they wouldn't have to cut additional drywall. Would highly recommend Alpha Plumbing!

Overall the job was done well. Response with the estimate was quick which was accepted by us. Then their efficiency/interest slackened - not sure why? It almost seemed like they wanted this job to go away? Why? have no idea. This attitude is not good for customer relations, especially if you want to remain as top rated in your category. However, after some reminders from myself, they set up an appointment. Brian the Plumber showed with new sink, completed the job; was very professional and has a pleasant disposition.

They were great. We're prompt, fixed the problem. Very friendly and courteous. Will definitely use them again when I need a plumber.

Got the $139 big deal to replace a toilet. The toilet was in a very tight spot in our small bathroom off of our bedroom. Back in the day, my husband might have tackled this project, but the tight fit would have frustrated him even back then. When we realized we could purchase the toilet through Alpha and have them bring it to the house, it worked out even better. They gave us a very good price on the new toilet and we were happy to eliminate the probable multiple trips to Home Depot to get it right if we had purchased on our own. The tech called ahead, he was able to get to us earlier than scheduled, but wanted to be sure that it would be ok with us. He was very professional and friendly. He did a great job cleaning up before he left. It’s been several months since and we’ve had absolutely no issues. We’re very happy with the installation as well as the product, Kohler Wellworth toilet, that they sold us. Communication with this company was 5 star from start to finish. Very prompt and professional.

I was in the middle of a shower and I realized it had stopped draining. Then I realized I hadn't heard the the sewage ejector pump activating as I normally do. I quickly stopped my shower and went to check the pump well. It was overflowing. I called Alpha Plumbing. They promised to have a guy out in a couple of hours. The scheduler estimated that it could be upwards of $800 if the pump needed to be replaced. Charles arrived at the early end of the window the scheduler had given me. I showed him the location of the pump and left him to do his thing. Within a matter of minutes, he advised me that the float on the pump had jammed up and that he was able to free it - no replacement necessary. I was very pleased to pay the basic service charge and save the cost of a full replacement. Charles was friendly and professional but dressed casually - shorts and a t-shirt with the sleeves cut off. But that doesn't matter to me at all. I would absolutely use Alpha Plumbing again.

Great experience. Alpha's phone rep (Michelle, I think) was very responsive offering me a wide range of appointment times and able to answer several initial questions. I have had positive experiences with Alpha in the past, but probably 8 - 10 years ago. They continue to be an excellent plumbing company. Buddy arrived on time. He replaced my kitchen faucet and re-routed my dishwasher relief valve to make room for a new soap dispenser that came with the faucet. He also checked my leaky clothes washer shut-off valves. He was courteous, fast and neat. He mentioned that he has been a plumber for about 20 years - 11 with Alpha - he clearly knew what he was doing, which made the job move along faster than I expected. Price was very reasonable, especially because Buddy was efficient and charged me based on 1/4 hr labor rate instead of 1/2 or whole hour. My only issue is that he needed to order new shut-off valves for the washing machine connection, which I assume means another service call charge. I was told when I scheduled the appointment that the trucks are well stocked so they should have whatever they need to install the faucet and repair/replace the leaky valves. That said, I can't expect them to have Everything available on their trucks -- I should have gone with my gut and bought new valves Before the service call. Overall, a great experience.

They appear promptly, they do good work, and they charge a human price. I also like that they explain what they're doing.

Three days before a big graduation party at our home, it began to “rain” in our basement. Although we have a BG&E service contract, they were booked until the following week and could not come out. We contacted Alpha Plumbing and they were able to rearrange their scheduling to come out the same day. The plumber suspected that the source of the water leak was a pin leak in a cooper pipe, removed just enough drywall to locate the leak and replaced the section of the pipe that was leaking. Alpha Plumbing commitment to excellent customer service saved the day and we had a very successful graduation party. Could not thank Alpha Plumbing enough for their responsiveness, professionally and reasonable pricing.

I had Alpha Plumbing replace an existing back flow preventer for my sprinkler system. They showed up ahead of time and did an excellent job at an excellent price. Everything was perfect from the initial call to the competent friendliness of the Plummer Chris. It's refreshing when you find a company that provides great service. I will definitely use Alpha again. Thanks again!

Brian from Alpha Plumbing did an outstanding job installing a new kitchen faucet and a reverse osmosis faucet. He also fixed a faulty valve on a water faucet outside. He was friendly and professional. My experiences with Alpha Plumbing are always great. I will continue to use them for all of my future plumbing needs.

I called this morning and was greeted by a friendly representative who was able to schedule me for same-day appointment. To my surprise, I received a call from an Alpha plumber (Brian) about 15 minutes later. Brian was available much earlier (within 30 minutes) and wondered if he could stop by. It was no problem for me since I was already home. Brian came by, checked out my existing faucet and plumbing, and started working immediately. He did an excellent job and the price was very reasonable! I highly recommend Alpha Plumbing and I will definitely call this company the next time I have a plumbing need.

From the moment I called to get an estimate to the time (just a few days later) that the work was complete, this company was great to work with. I got very helpful information over the phone when describing my problems and the technician (Dan) called to let me know he was on his way the day of the appointment. I had 2 problems for him to check with my jacuzzi tub and wanted to check where the best place to drain a dehumidifier would be in the basement. He had a simple fix to the jacuzzi issues and while checking the sump pump, found it was not functioning. We don't get a lot of water drainage but that could have been disastrous. He replaced the pump and took his time answering all my questions and was very professional and thorough. He cleaned up the area in the basement after installation of the new pump. I will definitely use Alpha Plumbing again!

Signed up for Angies List at 1:45PM. Found Alpha Plumbing at 1:58. They were DONE with the job by 3:15PM - yes less than an hour at my house and less than 90 minutes from the time I called them, I had working showers, toilets and drains. Spoke to John on the phone, I immediately trusted him, and asked for his help. He sent Matt to my house - very professional, knowledgeable and friendly - literally the doorbell rang in about 10 or 15 minutes - I was shocked and relieved. Matt checked the cleanout, went out to the yard and listened for water going into tank and proceeded to snake the drain. Explained the process to me and suggested that I might have poked a hole in the clog with the small snake I rented from Home Depot this weekend but he likely broke it up and pushed it into the septic tank. Regardless of what it was, in less than an hour at my home it was completely fixed - really can't thank you guys enough. One of the most positive experiences I've had with a contractor ever. Thank you again and I would recommend these guys without reservation!
