Description of Work: We had noticed a large wet spot in the grass near our front door. We called Alpha Plumbing because of their good ratings on Angie's List. Michelle in the office is very friendly and efficient. One of their staff came out the same afternoon! He gave us 2 estimates, one if we used plastic pipes and one if we used copper pipes. (We chose to use copper pipes, even though they were more expensive.) On the day of our appointment, they arrived exactly on time. They completed the work in just a few hours. The workers even pointed out a large wasps' nest in our tree! Then one worker named Mike came in and explained what they'd done. He also showed us how to operate the new ball valve, which I appreciated. The only thing I mark them down on slightly is that they didn't give us the contract to sign before doing the work. All in all, we are VERY happy with Alpha Plumbing and recommend them highly.

Description of Work: Capped off gas line to fireplace and removed old line.

Description of Work: Replaced garbage disposal in kitchen sink and removed a clock in kitchen drain. The service person called ahead, arrived on time (a bit early actually) was very friendly and keen to explain what he was doing.

Description of Work: They snaked the house main and when in 24 hours it stopped again. Made their second visit at a greatly reduced rate even though the contract explicitly made clear they were not obligated to do so.

Description of Work: A frozen pipe burst in a basement bathroom. I called for service around 8am and had a service man, Chris, on-site by 11am. The repair was identified and repaired in less then an hour. Chris was very helpful and gave me tips on how to prevent this from happening again. I was very impressed with the cost of the repair, too. I would recommend Alpha Plumbing to family and friends.

Description of Work: Fixed the leak, reset the toilet. Punctual, polite, not a problem since the repair.

Description of Work: Our kitchen sink drain pipe split. He replaced the copper pipe and moved the junction to a more accessible location.

Description of Work: I had problems with the toilet. A coil became loose and every time the toilet was flushed it overflowed. I had used ALPHA Plumbing in the past and was pleased with their service so I called them again. The plumber came to my house within 30 minutes of my call and fixed the toilet and another minor problem with the washer within another half hour. I will definitely use them again if I have any plumbing problems or needs. The plumber replaced the assembly in the toilet, tightened all of the bolts and put covers on the screws that attached the toilet to the floor. He checked out the hoses to the washer and raised the temperature so that I could have hotter water for the laundry.

Description of Work: Was having intermittent bottom floor toilet flushing and upstairs sink slow drainage issues. Called the main office, they had Chris show up in less than an hour. Very professional, courteous, friendly, informative & helpful. I described the issues I was having & showed him. He inspected both different inside areas, as well as the outside drain flows, & did some cleaning & snaking. Both issues were no longer occurring when he left. He provided suggestions on what could be causing it and options of things to do in the future. Very happy with today's visit, will be calling them for any future plumbing needs.
