Our experience with Able Electrical Services was really great! From start to finish from the people who answered the phone, to speaking with the owner about what we needed to have done, to the Electrician who came to our home,our experience with this company was very positive. The owner took interest in the specifics of what we needed to have done and that really sold us. The electrician who came out has many, many years of experience, was professional and friendly and I felt very at ease knowing he was doing a good job. We will use this company for any needs in the future, no question!

This was a very smooth process, from making the appointment to the installation. The gentleman that installed the light fixture was very pleasant and did a perfect job.

The electrician, Bill, showed up on time and worked quickly to get the fixtures installed. When he got to the outside fixtures, he sound that the ones I purchased would not fit. He offered to get the correct ones, come back later, and even credited me for the coupon time that he did not use when he came for his second visit. He really went above and beyond to help me and the final bill was very reasonable.

Went well. No complaints. Tech was professional and pleasant.

I would highly recommend. They keep you informed of everything through email & text message. They provided detailed quote to me after a discussion of the work I wanted completed. Chris came and did exactly what I wanted done. Very clean & professional work

The electrician was prompt, courteous and completed the work in about 45 minutes. The original switch plates had been painted over so it took a bit of elbow grease to get them off. Once that was accomplished, he was able to complete the job very quickly.

They are definitely the person to use for electrical services in Baltimore. There price is fantastic.

Very, very well. Beautiful job laying the extensive conduit, new breakers and boxes, switches, lights, outlet, covers. If you want to see a job done right, this is it. Just another job by good 'ol Able Electric -- that's why I always use them.

The service went well. I had purchased the deal for 2 hours of service for $199. The first electrician, Shaun, came out and immediately knew what happened to the non functioning components and was able to quickly get them back on track. He also installed one ceiling fan in my kitchen. He could not install the second ceiling fan in my bedroom as he did not have the proper mounting or supporting brackets. However, after looking at the job he knew exactly what hardware would be needed and said that he would write everything up and submit it to the office. He also said that since I still had some service item left he would indicate that as well. The office called about two days later to schedule a second appointment for Shaun to return to install the second ceiling fan. I also informed the office of a pinging noise coming from the fan initially installed and asked if she could add that to the work order. The day of the appointment the office called to inform me that Shaun would not be able to complete the rest of my services and that another electrician would be sent in his place. The office asked him to confirm my agreement to the estimate sent to me via email. I was considered at the cost of the estimate and informed the office that I should have had service time credited to my account since Shaun did not use the full two hours. The office asked if they could review my account and call me back. In the meantime I gave them approval to proceed with the service. The other electrician (forgot his name) installed the second ceiling fan with no problem and then took a look at the initial ceiling fan installation and repaired the pinging noise. With remaining service time I had credited, my final bill was less than originally estimated and I was very pleased with the services.

Ben was excellent. He actually is still here working, and I am posting my review now. Very knowledgeable with vast experience of over 20 years. He explained everything to me that he was doing. I actually learned some things today about lights, dimmers and bulbs that I did not know which will help me with my future purchases of lights etc. I will be using this provider again in the very near future.

This is the second time in the past three years that I used Able Electrical Services. It's staff is quick to diagnose and repair a problem, and they are reliable and show up on schedule. I also liked it that Able Electrical Services sent me a text saying that my electrician, Chris, was on his way to do the work. On my recent service call, within 5 minutes of describing my problem with a light that was wired on a three-way light switch, Chris had it repaired. I had two other electrical companies look at this in the past, and they couldn't figure it out. Chris instantly told me what the problem was, and he was right. I was very impressed with Able Electrical Services on this recent call, as well as the call a few years ago. The other call a few years ago was for a bad breaker. I thought my dryer needed to be replaced, but the dryer was fine. The breaker was causing the malfunction. I will continue to use Able Electrical Services.

It went fine. Seemed a little pricey, and the person who booked the appointment on the phone with me the week prior told me that their serviceman would be here by 8am on Monday. I received a text from their automated service at 7:44 am that he wouldn't be arriving until 10am. And then he didn't arrive until 10:30. Except for the punctuality, the experience was just fine. I explained the problem, and he was done capping the wire in 15 minutes. I would use them again, but be sure to be flexible with your scheduling, and I justify the priciness with knowing it was done by certified company.

Performed a careful check of what could be causing, found the problem and rectified issue.

Was very impressed immediately with Able Electric. The day I paid through Angie's List, I received an email and a phone call to schedule the service. They also have an app for the phone that is used to help track it. Service was supposed to be done tomorrow, but they called to say the electrician was available to do it today. The work was done and complete within an hour. In addition, I needed the invoice to be pretty specific about what was done (work done as required by contract to sell my house) and Able Electric called me to be sure that the invoice was done exactly as I needed it. All in all, fantastic quality service.

The technician arrived on time and got right to work. He and talked about what I wanted and he promptly informed me that it would take an extra 2 hours to get it all done. I was fine with that since I wanted it done right. He mounted the tv, the shelves, and the sound bar on the wall above the fireplace. He had to cut holes in order to maneuver the cords and and install the outlets behind the tv. Once all was done, it was perfect. He even managed to hide most of the cords and wires, so all is well.

Contractor's office called the day before to confirm appointment. Contractor arrived on time and introduced himself. He was very efficient and completed all the work very quickly, including programming the switch for one of the outside lights. He was very pleasant. Couldn't have been better. I highly recommend this contractor.

Electrician arrived about 3 minutes early. He then installed new twin flood fixture with new back plate on the "deck" side of our house. He completed the work , and was gone with plenty of time to spare. Ask me any question . Answers will be yes, perfect, precise,professional, etc., a totally positive job completion ! Chris was just a few minutes late but got right to work upon arrival. He and I talked first about what I had in mind. I wanted my tv, sound bar, and two shelves hung above the fireplace with room left to add a mantel at a later date. It worked out perfectly and I'm very pleased with the result. It took two hours longer than originally planned so I paid for the extra time. He even made sure that everything worked before leaving and even cleaned up after cutting some holes in the drywall. Great job.

Arrived on time. Very nice and quick service. We will use them for future work.

I called Able to order a service to fix a few of my outlets. Rose took my call and thoroughly explained to me a diagnostics routine, following which I fixed the problem myself. Not only Rose saved me $200; but, she also saved me time and a lot of frustration, which I would feel if an electrician came and did the same trick.

Doug came and gave us a free estimate and, while he was here gave us some helpful advice on how to approach a couple of problem areas. Bill, who came to do the work, arrived on time and was very professional and efficient. The work was excellent. We particularly appreciated his flexibility. While he was here doing the work, we were cleaning a ceiling fan in the bedroom when one of the blades snapped off. We ran out and bought a new one and he got permission to spend another hour here assembling and installing the fan. (It's not directly pertinent to the this review, but an interesting aspect that we didn't know--, but that Angies List might want to look into, was that, according to Bill, this is not uncommon for an old fan. The metal connector fatigues over time and the blades become very brittle. As he removed the old fan, two other blades fell off. The reason we were quite concerned was that, if this had happened while the fan was running, it could have caused significant damage to the house, and possible harm to a person. Just saying.) Bill was friendly, informative, professional, and as we said, flexible. The only thing we might have wished for was a senior discount--but you can't have everything.

Able Electrical Services, Inc. provided an excellent service and we would recommend them without question.
