The installer arrived on time. Worked very efficiently. He was very friendly. The installation was nicely done. I am very happy with my new fixtures.

I scheduled the appointment to take advantage of a great price to get a most wanted outdoor electrical outlet. The price was right, the work and materials used were well worth the deal. I was pleased with the scheduling and arrival of the technician. The tech took to the installation as a professional and yet very pleasant. Of note, if you ever have this done, make sure you scope your interior walls for the nearest outlet that can supply the external electric before the technician gets there. I did and it saved time and consideration once he arrived to do the work.

Bill from Able Electrical Services did a GREAT Job. Punctual, Friendly, Competent. Resolved troubled circuit and restored function. Installed new interior outlet with minimal mess. No drywall repairs were needed when he was finished. You can't even tell the outlet wasn't there all along. Great job, and he cleaned up all traces of any mess! Garage quad outlet and breaker were installed quickly and efficiently. Pre-service and follow-up communications with Michelle in the office were great. Gentleman showed up at 10:00 Am on the dot. His name was Brian. Very friendly and courteous. Researched to problem and tracked it down to a loose wire. Felt a little stupid for that, but he opened the panel which is something that I truly do not want to do. Would use again.

They were very good. The experience with them was very very positive.

It was evident from his attitude he did not want such a small job. This was confirmed when we received the estimate and he wanted $900 for one switch. We decided to not go forward with the service due to his attitude and extremely high price.

John did an excellent job with a minimum amount of disruption. He was punctual,courteous and efficient. Would request him personally if I should need additional electrical work.

No issues. The outlet was quickly installed and tested and continues to function without problems.

I called Able Electrical Services to install a ceiling fan. They were able to send a technician the next day. The technician worked quickly and efficiently. I was very satisfied with their service. I would definitely call Able Electrical Services in the future.

I contacted Able Electrical based on Angie's List reviews. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they could send a technician the very next day. Our needs were pretty straight forward....we wanted a dryer outlet installed in the basement and a separate outlet for two sump pump systems, a washer, and, as long as we had a technician in the house, another independent circuit in case we ever decided to switch to a gas dryer. The technician showed up a touch early which was fine for me. I am sorry, but I have forgotten his name, but he was a young fellow and very pleasant. He listened to what I wanted to accomplish and set straight to work. He also noted that the current outlet being used for one of the sump pumps looked fine to him and that he would check to see if it had a dedicated breaker. If so, he said there was no reason to install one of my requested outlets unless I wanted another dedicated outlet for another purpose. I really appreciated his honesty as it showed he actually listened to what I was hoping to accomplish and didn't want to charge me for unnecessary work. Total time was a few hours. He was very neat in placement of outlets and running of the wires. Left the place clean. I am very happy with the service performed.

After receiving a competitive estimate from Doug, we selected Able Electrical Services to do a ceiling fan installation. We established a date for the installation and Russell arrived within 15 minutes of the scheduled time (he did call and gave a specific time for his arrival -- no issue). The work required rewiring a switch from controlling an outlet to controlling our new ceiling fan, then installing the fan (the room was not pre-wired for a fan so this included cutting a hole in the ceiling). Russell walked through, with my husband, what he was planning to do, then started the installation. He had foot coverings on at all times when in our home and spread plastic on the floors where the work was being performed. He was proficient and knowledgeable and efficiently completed the installation. I note that, since the family room walls were painted but the laundry room on the other side of the wall wasn't, he made the holes in the laundry room to minimize the patching that needs to be done. The whole thing took about 2 1/2 hours, including clean-up time. We are very pleased with the quality of the work and we plan to use Able Electrical Services for future electric work.

I got pushed back time wise in the schedule, but I was pleasantly surprised by the work and cost. In addition our service person was very knowledgeable and helpful. I am pleased and will call them back again for additional work.

They're wonderful and I've used them before. Scheduling was easy. I called them and they came out the next day. He was very professional and I'm very satisfied.

ABLE Electric helped out when no one would. Doug at ABLE walked me through our electrical problem over the phone, and our problem was fixed. It was a relief since we had just bought our home. Can anyone imagine walking into their new home after signing and having the electrical just go out? We will definitely be calling Doug and ABLE Electric in the future. One last thing, this firm has a heart. They didn't charge us for their professional direction over the phone.

Our electrician arrived on time and first listened to my concerns about where the old outlet was located. We discussed with him possible options for a new location on an adjoining wall. He then discussed how it would be possible to make the change without having to cut out portions of the wall that will remain after a new vanity is installed. The electrician was able to make the several cuts necessary to get the wire to the new location in parts of the wall that will be covered by the new vanity. He drilled through several studs in order to thread the wire through. He even listened to discussions as to the best color for the new outlets. The only problem we had was that since our electrician was a recent employee of the company he had a truck that had few supplies. He had to make a run to a supplier on West Street in order to obtain the two new recepticals. We are not clear whether the time he was on the road to get supplies was figured into our bill. He was not able to give us an itemized receipt. This seemed to be because he was a new employee. He said we would receive an itemized receipt in the mail and I hope that we do. Also he was not authorized to take our credit card so we had to write him a check. He was able to let us deduct from our bill an online coupon from Angie's List for $20.00 for bills over $200.00. We were happy to pay as we were so amazed and grateful that by using Angie's List we found Able Electric and we were able to get an electricain to come on the same day we called. We were very pleased with the quiet professionalism of our electrician as he problem solved to make things work. We are completely satisfied with all the work that he did. We do not hold him responsible for not having the supplies that he needed on his truck or not having an itemized receipt to give us or to let us use our credit card. If we need an electrician in the future we would definitely call Able Electric and would be pleased to have Ray, the electrician who did our work, come back to work for us again. This was our first experience with Angies's List and we plan to use it again whenever the need arises.e

Overall, I am satisfied with the services performed, but I do believe that the provider needs to be held accountable for their scheduling error. I made an appointment for 8:30 AM. and was even sent an email confirmation. The technician did not show up until after 11:00 AM because he had been double booked. In my opinion, I should not have been charged the $45 service fee and just billed for the actual labor.

From the scheduling to job completion, I found this company to be courteous, professional, reasonably-priced and fast. Two things stuck out to me when working with Able Electrical Services: ********** 1) When I forgot to call and confirm my appointment, Rose kept on top of things and called me to confirm. She also remembered my work schedule and worked around me. So often companies will say the customer never called them back, and use this as an excuse to move on. This kind of follow-through and attention to detail was refreshing. ********** 2) Each of the guys that came out to install our lighting needs were polite, professional and prepared. With other companies, technicians will ocassionally show up not knowing anything about the job, forcing the customer to repeat themselves about what they need done, and the technician will explain they have to send someone else, etc., etc. In this case, all three guys for all three jobs knew what the job was and had the tools with them to get it done. For what it was -- having electrical work done -- it was a great experience. That, in and of itself, says a lot.

Russell provided great service. He called before arrival to confirm arrival time. He did a great job and was very professional. I would highly recommend his service.

Doug, the President, showed up and walked through the entire house with me. He listened to all of my requests and concerns, and was extremely informative on how to remedy each issue. He told me that he would email me a job proposal with an estimate, which he did in a very timely manner. We arranged for the work to be done, and the technician, Russell, was fantastic. He completed every single job with a professional manner, and we could not have been happier with the end results.

Workmanship was fine, very straightforward. The installer had to drill straight in to the inside of a cabinet in the kitchen, then straight down through the floor to the drop ceiling in the basement. I would have preferred an angled drill hole that would have avoided running wires through the cabinet, that would have made me happier. The electrical connection was simple to make from a nearby outlet box. There was confusion as to when the installed was going to show up - we couldn't have anyone there in the afternoon in the basement, that's when the kids in our home-based daycare take a nap. I was told we were the first call in the morning, then I was told we were the second. When I called to find out when the installer was arriving, he pulled up at 10:30 or 11:00 - pretty much as late as we could handle. The job was completed on time and fairy quickly, he was out by 1:00.

There were several bumps & frustrations along the way, but Russell - our technician - did everything he could think of to make the desired lighting a success. We are very happy with the outcome.
