First time using Angie's List. It was a great experience. Receptionist at Able electrical was very helpful and polite, she had the electrician call me directly when I had some follow up questions. the electrician accomplished a lot of work in short amount of time and looked for the least expensive way to fix our electrical problems. Actual cost ended up being a little less than the estimate. I will definitely call them again future work.

Very prompt service. Thought price was a bit high for 15 min. of work, but I guess that's the going rate.

Even though they were very busy, they managed to squeeze me in on the same day I called for help. They brought the proper equipment, swapped out the old detectors, and were helpful with advice. They didn't gouge me, either.

Great same day service . Used Angie coupon for $135 with one hour of labor. Went over 30 minutes only because I was missing a piece for the new fixture . Russell was nice enough to follow me to my local hardware store to be sure we got the right part. Would recommend this company and will call them next time we need an electrician.

The electrician they sent was great. Funny and kind. The 2 hour package wasn't necessary but it didn't matter I just wanted the problem solved. He was in and out and fixed the problem quickly. He made sure was happy with the work. I will recommend Able Electric anytime

Guy arrived early like 8am, said there was a wire that was shorted out on my old box and gave me a brand new one (additional $31). Cleaned up his mess and was in and out. Very satisfied and would use Able Electrical again. He was a little upset though that my husband had on steeler pants in Raven country.

Prompt, professional, very knowledgeable, clean, efficient. Russell gave me some very sound advice regarding my smoke detectors. No heavy sales pitch, just good advice, which I intend to follow thorough with in the near future. I will continue to use this company for electrical service in the futre and request Russell.

Brian was awesome. He explained everything to me as he did it (which I really appreciated) and was done within an hour. Plus, he loved my dogs! I definitely intend to use Able Electric for any of my electrical needs in the future.

They were responsive, punctual, and professional. My only concern is that last week I saw an ad on Angie's List for $65 (from another provider) to install a ceiling fan . . . so now I wonder if I overpaid?

Doug was very nice an professional. He looked at my tv cables with me, which currently go around the exterior of my house and into walls through a hole in the wall. He explained my options, and how we could get the cable to be less obvious and go through the attic. He talked about cost savings, such as removing the old cable myself rather than having them spend (and cost out) 2 hours of work to pull dead cables from under the gutter and around the house. He explained the options for splitting the cable in the attic to bring it down the secondary wall, and what I would save if I only wanted one tv plug. He also discussed options if the wall was not able to be fished down. As the wall I wanted to put the new plug on used to be exterior we are unsure if we will be able to put the cable in the wall. He explained my options and sent me an estimate split into pieces biased on distance and how much trouble they run into.

Went great, 3 hours, no mess, works great. outstanding service and professionalism.

Called this service in the evening (6:30ish) to purchase a $135 service call. Our outdoor electrical box in our garage wasn't working. The gentleman that answered, troubleshot our issue over the phone. Easily fixed by my husband in a few minutes. Could have definitely scheduled the call and took our money, but was honest and helped us. Definitely the real deal. Very rarely do you find kind honest and reputable folks. Will definitely call back in the future if I have an issue.

My husband called their office earlier this week and spoke with Rose about setting up an appointment for an installation quote. She said it was scheduled for 11 on Friday 19 June. My husband called back to double check the time on Thursday 18 June and it was set for 11 on Friday. He also asked that the technician call an hour before so he could leave base for the appointment. His military chain of command is stringent on time away from the office. He didn't receive a call, but was able to depart work in time to make the 11am appointment. Nobody was waiting yet so this was ok. He finally got a call at 1131 (and 1132, and 1133) from the technician. The technician was running a little late from an earlier job and said he was told to call an hour ahead of his arrival at our home. This reasonably meant he was due to arrive between 1230 and 1240. My husband told him as long as he wasn't impacting his ability to pick up me up at 3pm the slight delay was fine. The technician didn't pull up until 230pm, as my husband was walking out the door to pick up me up. My husband didn't have time to talk about the 2 extra delayed hours as I needed to be picked up no later than 3pm. A call at 1240 explaining additional arrival delay and asking to reschedule would have been appreciated. Without it, my husband was unable to return to work. To pull up 30 minutes before he had to be somewhere and expect he'd still have time for the meeting is not reasonable. My husbands schedule is busy and his time is valuable. We can't afford 2 hours with no word. The voice mail "you were leaving as I pulled up, I'm sorry, there was traffic" was just too late. in response to the reply that they "kept in contact with this potential customer"...no, you did not. You made contact ONLY ONE TIME at 1133am (half an hour after our appointment, and an hour and a half after a call was expected), which is when I clearly stated that I had to pick up my wife at 1500 (not leave at that time), and said as long as you didn't impact my ability to do this we could still meet. You didn't call any other times before or after 1133am, so you did NOT keep in contact.

The initial repair man worked very h****** the problem, constantly on the phone with the owner of the company...when he still could not solve the problem, as it is a very old house and wiring, the owner himself came up amd together they solved the problem...they were great! And I would use them again!

They are great, highly recommend. Every time I have called them, I have been very happy. They show up on time, and get the work done fast.

It was completely pleasant. Russell arrived on time and performed the work quickly. He was professional and personable and I would definitely use Able again in the future.

We were so please. I called them one week ago based on Angie's List reviews. They immediately called back, when by my house to check out what we needed, called back promptly with an estimate that was very reasonable, and said they would be able to complete the installation in the (very short) time frame I needed. When the electrician arrived, he was very professional, got his work done quickly and without any mess. We were so impressed and will definitely call them back to discuss installing recessed lights and hanging a chandelier. Thank you!

I purchased a generator switch and needed help running the wire from the switch to the outlet box which was to be mounted on an exterior wall through about a foot of brick. This exceeded my capability so I purchased the Angie's List deal. I was also on a time constraint and they were able to work with me. The electrician arrived on time and in uniform and we discussed what was to be completed. Initially he said he could wire the switch into the panel which was an added bonus but I think he had some issues getting the wire through the thick brick and was only able to complete what I had asked for and not the additional service. No biggie. I would use them again.

I was impressed with the online appointment system and turnaround time of Able Electrical. I filled out the online form and was able to get an appointment the next day. I was given a time estimate of 1.5 weeks from another Angie's list electrical company. Bill, from Able Electrical did an outstanding job installing my new dryer outlet. He was knowledgeable and friendly. He pointed out another electrical issue that was missed by my home inspector. I will definitely use Able Electrical again in the future.

He was on time, took him about 5 minutes to complete the work and it went great. I use them all the time for my rental property and have always had a good experience. I was glad to be able to use them at my actual house and get the same great service.

The provider was very courteous and helpful.
