Description of Work: I purchased the installation of a new outdoor outlet through a Big Deal. They responded promptly, showed up on time, did the installation with no fuss. The technician with clean, friendly, and professional. They didn't even have to turn my power off. They also advised me on a problem I had with another outlet.

Description of Work: They came to inspect the reason for a power outage. They were able to find the cause very quickly and remedy it. They were very helpful and honest. I am actually hiring them again for the electrical system on my pool pump.

Description of Work: They installed three ceiling fans and two bathroom vents.

Description of Work: I initially contacted them at around noon to schedule a troubleshooting/diagnostic/repair of washer/dryer circuit/outlet. Staff initially walked me thru possible causes/resolutions to avoid having to pay for service call. When those were unsuccessful, I phoned to schedule the service call. Tech was dispatched while I was on the phone. "Russell" called 5 minutes later to say that he was on the way. Quickly diagnosed/resolved issue. Also tested outlets in kitchen,dining area and living room, replaced defective outlet in dining area., & installed GFCI in kitchen. INITIAL contact to COMPLETION of job >>> under 3 hrs!!!

Description of Work: Installed a owner supplied electrical bypass panel to enable a generator to power several circuits from outside of the home. The technician was very resistant to installing the outside connector where I wanted it to be installed. Ended up in a very inconvenient ( low and hard to reach area). Because almost all equipment was furnished a $325 credit remained from the original amount paid. Used this credit to have Able install/repair three ceiling fans. They replaced the family room fan with a new fan, move current family ceiling to the master BR, and repair wobbly ceiling fan in second BR. All required installation of new braces for stability. One bracket was owner supplied, two were furnished by Able. In addition to the $325 credit there was a $190 charge. The additional charge was not a problem, the problem is that there are problems with damage to the ceiling around the second BR ceiling fan which is very visible and will require repair. The hole was enlarged beyond the size of the fan canopy and the bracket legs are protruding through the ceiling and is also quite visible. Also paint chips around the wall switch plate in the master BR. The original screwless wall switch plate was broken and was replaced with a less desirable plate with screws. Electrically he was very competent but mechanically not so much.

Description of Work: Able Electric Services was a Big Deal that I took. I was having trouble with a lamp in my living room and didn't know if it was a problem with wiring or with the lamp. The service man arrived on time and a little ahead of time. He has experience with wiring new homes and diagnosed the problem in a short period of time. The lamp was the problem. I was relieved that it wasn't a bigger issue. I would definitely hire him again and am thinking of having him install a ceiling fan in a bedroom. Very glad that I took that big deal.

Description of Work: My attic fan needed to be replaced. Upon examination of my roof around the attic fan hole, it was discovered that removing the old fan would require a lot more work. The roof would need to be redone and some other extra expenses. Able removed the current fan's motor and mounting bracket, and searched until they were able to find a replacement motor for the old unit. They also welded a new bracket to hold it. Wasn't cheap, but I knew exactly what I paid for, it works well, and I feel that they went above and beyond in order to solve my problem.

Description of Work: The outside lights, front and back, of my house and the electircal outlet on my back porch had not worked for years. The house is very old and Rick said the circuts were mixed up. He got right to work and figured everything out. Excelent job.

Description of Work: Rick did a wonderful job placing recessed lighting in our kitchen. Also install pendant lighting over the island countertop. Very neat and clean work. Holes for placement of the lighting was kept to a minimum...This is the second time I used Able electric. And I will use them again for future work. Rick is the best

Description of Work: We had a wall switch and several outlets that would not work. Checked the fuse box and no fuses were out. After much trial and error, I was surprised at their patience, the problem was solved. We also had a chandelier installed.

Description of Work: Doug (owner I think), was amazing. I called with a lighting issue that he was able to diagnose over the phone. On his advice, my father was able to fix by swapping out the fixture. I was AMAZED at his honesty and integrity. Had my dad not been able, I would have not hesitated to call in these guys. Did I mention he even called me days later to check in? This will be my go-to electrician from now on. I cannot say enough about a company trying to help first...make money second.
