The drain field that ASAP put down 8 years ago was very close to the surface - - so close we could see the huge plastic infiltrators sticking out of the soil. Apparently the new style is to put these close to the surface but our yard is full of trees. It's the roots that did us in. This is obviously not ASAP's fault but probably something they could have warned us about. I also think they could have sent someone out to look at the situation without charging $120.
Description of Work: We had our drain field replaced by ASAP 8 years ago. This year water started oozing up out of it in several places and we called them to come see what the problem was. The price they gave us for just coming to look was $120, for $180 they would also pump the system. We weren't sure we wanted to use them, partially because they were charging so much to just take a look but also because we expected the drain field to last longer than 8 years so we looked elsewhere. Unfortunately the ones that received good ratings on Angie's List were too far away and didn't service Salisbury. One of the high rated places in Delaware recommended American Outback Septic Services of Salisbury. I called them but they didn't work on drain fields - - however they recommended Leon Johnson Jr of Fruitland. That's who we got and he was great!
