Description of Work: Assessed damage after soda was spilt into the laptop causing an electrical burning odor. Cleaned up the liquid spill from inside the laptop & made sure it was in good working order. I consider them to be honest, since they could have told me it needed a new major component.

Highly competent, patient, honest, efficient--he does exactly what he says he will do. If you have computer issues, try to make it to this shop. You won't be disappointed!
Description of Work: Removed computer viruses, upgraded computer, replaced screen and keyboard. Also spent time fixing computer remotely. Computer came back in excellent condition. Also purchased a MAC from Restore for a friend who could not afford a good computer. Price was excellent, as was the MAC! Computer had new hard drive, all the bells and whistles, large 20" screen, webcam, etc. Terrific value.

Sam was able to remove difficult viruses from 2 PCs as well as help us with our wireless network. We are glad to have such a knowledgeable, honest person in the area and will call him again when the need arises. I would recommend him highly.

He always did his best, took my many phone calls without issue, and even gave me an interim solution, copying the files he *did* have (halfway through the recovery) to an external drive I had (so I could use them while he continued the recovery of everything else). The only shortcoming was completely not his fault. The drive I had bought to replace the dead one was also a dud, and I had to rush shipment of a replacement for that one myself. I installed that newest HD, but I also found a utility online that recovered MUCH more information than he was able to recover and did it in one overnight search of the drive. So within a couple more days, I actually recovered more information than he was able to recover. I did it cheaper, faster, and more effectively than he was able to do. If I had known about this recovery option earlier, I never would have gone to Restore. But again, none of that was his fault; he did everything he could to the best of his abilities. I really appreciate his skill and patience through the whole process, and I think his calm demeanor helped keep me from panicking, too. The sole reason I wouldn't go back to Restore is that I bought that software. If I were in the same straits again (i.e., need the repair done rapidly and did not have the available tools or personal skill/knowledge), I would use Restore again in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: I literally dropped my laptop, which made the internal HD unreadable. Restore rushed my computer in for recovery. He spent a considerable amount of time trying to recover everything he could, including installing a new HD and moving everything he could to that new drive. The drive was pretty well hosed, so it took days for his recovery attempts to grab anything worthwhile.

Description of Work: Sam unlocked my iphone. I mistakenly relocked it. He was kind enough to re-unlock at no charge. I have had 3 computers fixed by him and he has ALWAYS done an outstanding job. One laptop needed a new hard drive. The company manufacturer did not recommend replacing the hard drive as it is too deep seated and technical for anyone to do it. However Sam was able to replace the hard drive for me and get the computer running. I recommend him for any computer work, education, web design, security, server needs etc. without any reservations.
